The Role:
Were seeking experienced and motivated Resident Doctors in Critical Care to join our expert medical team. Youll work closely with Consultants and Specialist Nurses across our Level 3 Adult Critical Care Unit and general wards, ensuring that every patient receives exceptional, timely, and safe care.
What Youll Do:
- Deliver high-quality medical care under the direction of the patients named Consultant.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a range of acute and complex medical conditions.
- Conduct physical examinations and request appropriate investigations.
- Support Consultant-led decisions, ensuring smooth continuity of care.
- Participate in ward rounds, assess new admissions, and review discharges.
- Provide immediate medical support in emergencies, including leading on cardiac arrest calls.
- Play an active role in pre- and post-operative care, clinical assessments, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
What youll bring:
- GMC Registration and License to Practice in the UK
- Intensive Care Medicine training ST3 + (Critical Care and Anaesthesia)
- Experience working in a level 3 Critical Care Adult Unit.

Our Receptionists /Care Navigators are key contributors in supporting the smooth running of the practice by providing internal administrative support necessary for the practice team to meet the needs of and caring for our patients. Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (WWL) is seeking an exceptional Divisional Director of Operations to lead our Live Well & Urgent Care Division.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operational leader to work alongside senior clinical and nursing colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care, drive transformation, and improve operational, workforce, quality and financial performance.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will work closely with the Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Divisional Medical Director and Divisional Director of Nursing to deliver Trust objectives and national priorities. The Divisional Director of Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for the Division. We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Critical Care, Surgery and Bariatric therapy team at Whiston Hospital. We are seeking an individual who is a keen and confident practitioner with an enthusiasm to develop the Physiotherapy role within the acute surgery wards and ICU settings, with the inclusion of the bariatric surgery service, providing a caring and responsive service.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent skills in assessment of respiratory function, formulating a structured rehabilitation plan from critical illness to discharge, including the provision of equipment along with experience of facilitating home and environmental visits. Attending preoperative education sessions to help enhance recovery by giving appropriate information is an essential remit of the team. They will be responsible for overseeing the Bariatric Surgery service, attending Bariatric MDT and pre-operative school.
The successful individual will possess excellent communication skills to enable patient centred care, effective multidisciplinary team working and raising the profile of the profession within the patient setting.

Main duties of the job
The implementation of evidence based practice and a willingness to identify and be involved in areas for future service development is also necessary. This individual will be enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated to develop their skills and the service they are part of. We require a motivated and dedicated nurse to work within the integrated Palliative Care Team in Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. The Harrogate and District Specialist Palliative Care Team provides multi-disciplinary advisory support for both hospital and community patients with advanced, progressive disease and complex palliative care needs. When fully staffed, the team will be providing a face to face service 7 days a week during the day. The team work in partnership with Saint Michael's Hospice across the locality.
As well as providing specialist palliative care directly to patients and carers we are responsible, in partnership with others, for designing and delivering key quality improvements in end of life care for all across the locality including the innovative newly launched Harrogate End of Life Planning and Support Services (HELPSS).

- Acknowledging a patients attendance at the desk within 2/3 minutes of arrival and advise any patients queueing for appointments of the self-check-in service.
