Main duties of the job
As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, both in the healthcare department and on the wings
- Facilitate clinics, including bloods, observations (obs), ECGs, NHS Health checks etc
- Be involved in the implementation of clinical care packages
- Support the nursing team with all aspects of care
- Act as a second checker in pharmacy as required
- Support receptions (new patients entering the prison) and assist with triaging new patients

Our new Healthcare Assistant will:- Ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or Care Certificate
- Have experience within phlebotomy - this is highly desirable!
- Have experience in a clinical care setting previously - ideally from a hospital or prison setting
- Have clinical experience - venepuncture, ECGs etc
- Have a non-judgemental and compassionate approach

Job summary
To be a physiotherapy clinical expert in the management of patients with renal conditions for Kings College Hospital and provide expert clinical intervention for patients with renal problems.To be responsible for the operational management and clinical leadership of the physiotherapy service in renal outpatients in conjunction with the Physiotherapy Manager and Renal Consultants.
The post holder will be required to work at Tessa Jowell Health Centre, Kings College Hospital and Denmark Hill weekly. There are also sessions to various haemodialysis units across SEL.
Main duties of the job
- To be responsible for the efficient, effective and safe management of patients referred to the renal physiotherapy service, including those requiring rehabilitation programmes and those with musculoskeletal conditions
- To receive referrals and independently assess and treat own caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner.
- To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work, including the management of patients in your care. To ensure a high standard of clinical practice for patients under your management and to support more junior staff to do likewise
- To use advanced clinical assessment and reasoning skills and evidence based knowledge to assess patients with highly complex conditions, and to formulate prognoses and recommendations for the best form of intervention for patients with chronic kidney disease. e.g. management of patients referred to specialist renal weight management clinic and specialist renal rehabilitation programmes
- To make appropriate referrals to other services and clinicians based on assessment and investigation findings, and by having an in-depth understanding of the role of others in the multidisciplinary team
- To have knowledge of a wide range of advanced treatment techniques such as manual and manipulative physiotherapy techniques, taping, exercise therapy, and patient advice and education.

The Oxfordshire Shared Lives Scheme supports people to become carers and provide paid care in their own home to adults who need some help and support with day-to-day life. The assistance needed can vary a great deal depending on the individual.The aim is, as far as possible, to enable people to live the kind of life they choose, in an ordinary household.
People who use the service need practical and emotional support to live their lives more fully and independently and feel part of a family household.They may have mental health difficulties, a learning disability, physical health needs, be an older person needing extra help, or a young person leaving care requiring continued support.
We are keen to recruit people from all backgrounds who feel they can offer this type of paid support in their own home. Shared Lives Carers are approved with the County Council and work on a Self -employed basis. This means that you can still do your day job if preferred or, focus on working from home and offer someone anything from occasional short breaks through to a longer-term, full-time arrangement whereby someone lives with you. You don't need to have had previous experience in Social Care but you do need to have a positive approach, be willing to learn , have a spare bedroom and be comfortable sharing your home. Job summary
The Service Desk Officer will provide a proficient NHS GM Digital & IT support service across the customer base. Provide in-depth technical remote support for all end-user equipment, systems and software supported by the IT Service. Support will be carried out in accordance with the customer's Service Level Agreement as well as the departmental guidelines and policies in the most efficient way.
The Service Desk Officer is the first point of contact for all customers and is responsible for ensuring all service requests and incidents are logged and managed appropriately. The IT Service Desk Officer will have diagnostic and fault-finding knowledge/skills and a broad range of IT knowledge as required. Administrative tasks in support of the service are also performed.
The post holder is responsible for conducting the Incident Management, Request Fulfilment and Configuration Management processes to mandated policy and procedures.

Main duties of the job
- Provide high quality and detailed first line technical support to internal policies and procedures based on recognised ITIL good practice for all customers seeking support, advice and assistance on all supported IT Systems and infrastructure.
- Handle queries by telephone, self-service portal, email and face to face from users to provide detailed advice, guidance and resolutions for system problems to all customers in the effective use of systems, products and services available to them; demonstrates ingenuity in applying knowledge to non-standard situations.
- Use remote access tools, have the ability to detect, diagnose and resolve a high level of customer issues to reduce the need to travel to site. Where possible, the post-holder will minimise disruption to users' workflow by resolving reported incidents immediately using initiative to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

We are looking to recruit two friendly and flexible domestic assistants to join our small team at Blyth Community Hospital.
Hours of work for these positions are:
16.5 hr post - predominantly to assist with cleaning office and clinic areas in late afternoon / early evenings.
20 hr post - predominantly to work within our inpatient ward working either 7am - 12pm, 9am - 2pm or 2pm - 7pm. This position also includes working a share of weekends and bank holiday dates for which an enhanced rate is payable.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Physiotherapist to work in our Buckinghamshire Community Learning Disability Health Team to cover maternity leave.
This is a part-time position for HCPC registered Physiotherapists with an interest in community LD services. The successful candidate will work as an integral member of a diverse multi-disciplinary team and will join the growing Physiotherapy service. We are pleased to offer two funded, full-time Assistant Psychologist posts through the Aspiring Clinical Psychology Access Scheme. Job responsibilities
- Assist in the provision of safe, efficient and effective pharmacy services under supervision.
- Learn how to interpret, dispense and supply medicines in accordance with departmental procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with the supply of medicines to inpatient and community services.
- Assist with dispensing and controlled drug processes under supervision and in accordance with legal requirements.
- Assist with medicines distribution and stock replenishment services.

Job summary
We are seeking compassionate, confident and motivated Charge Nurses to join our team at Logandene. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of individuals living with dementia, while supporting the development and wellbeing of the ward team.
As a key member of the nursing leadership team, you will play a central role in ensuring the delivery of safe, therapeutic and person-centred care. You will provide visible and supportive leadership on the ward, act as a clinical role model, and support junior colleagues to develop their skills and confidence.

Main duties of the job
The Charge Nurses' key role is to provide local clinical leadership to the team under the direction of the team leader.
The Charge nurse will:
Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for service users.
Be required to teach other nursing and non-nursing personnel.
Be a role model through their own good practise.
Be responsible for maintaining clinical standards, and team systems under the direction of the team leader.
Assist the team leader in maintaining effective team working processes, including outcome measures.
Be expected to deputise for the Team Leader in their absence.
To manage the ward/unit resources and clinical environment during their shift.
