Job summary
This is an exciting time to join NLFT with the opportunity as a Senior Systemic and Family Psychotherapist to work with service users, their families and networks across Haringey's Psychological Therapies Pathways, Community Core Teams and Complex Emotional Needs Teams.
You will join a community of Systemic Family Psychotherapists working across Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Camden, Islington and the Tavistock. We take pride in developing our CPD and training opportunities available locally and more widely, and alongside, regular supervision and support is provided.
With psychologists, psychological therapists and multi-disciplinary staff within the Core Community Teams, you will provide psychological/systemic input to the care of those requiring the highest level of support from mental health services. You will collaborate across different service, pathway and team contexts and develop a system of engagement that promotes a trauma informed, strength based focussed offer and treatment that can form the foundation for the sustainable recovery of service users, their family and carer networks.
Psychological/systemic assessments, consultation and direct work with the team and pathways regarding clients with complex presentations are provided, many of whom present with high risk and may be difficult to engage. You will be expected to provide training, supervision and consultation to other professional and non-professional disciplines, including trainees.
Main duties of the job
- Provision of psychological and systemic therapies covered by NICE guidelines to individuals, families, networks.
o Highly specialist assessment of service users and their families.
o Delivery with other members of the team to assist engagement, evaluation and assessment of service users, their family/ professional and social network system.
o Systemic intervention & consultation to multi-disciplinary clinical meetings.
o Structured internal supervision and consultation, including trainees and reflective practice.
o Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the framework of the service's policies and procedures.
o Provide teaching, training and consultation to mental health service staff.
o Use of core professional training e.g. to undertake research, audit and contribution to policy and service development.
You will be working with a client group with severe and enduring mental illness across the whole life span of community adult mental health including Complex Emotional Needs (c-PTSD; PD and MAP pathways); non-psychotic and psychotic presentations and psychological therapy pathways.

To lead on generic health advising within sexual health services, offering specialised advice and support in providing a comprehensive service for investigation, treatment and control of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including HIV.
To provide advice, information, education counselling and provide partner notification (PN) to patients diagnosed with sexually transmitted infections, e.g. chlamydia, gonorrhoea, herpes, syphilis and hepatitis B and C. Main duties of the job
Sexual Health in Bournemouth and Poole is part of a Pan-Dorset service. We are an integrated team, providing people in Dorset support for any sexual health need, including; but not restricted to; contraception, Genito-Urinary issues, termination advice, psycho-sexual counselling and HIV provision.
The Sexual Health Adviser, is an integral part of the team. They work closely with local labs and the results coordinator, to ensure all patients receive their correct results in a timely and efficient way. They have oversight of all positive results in the service. They a point of contact for those who require treatment, including support with their diagnosis, or support with telling partners about their infection by providing a safe and confidential space.
Liaison with all members of the team is important for best practice and evidence-based care, so excellent communication skills are required.
We are a teaching Trust so have many students from many disciplines, including medics, nursing, nurse associates and psychologists. Sexual Health is a popular choice for placements and spoke days, so skills with mentoring and supervision will be helpful.

Lung Cancer Support Worker, Band 4 (22.5 hours a week)
The postholder will be an integral part of the cancer team, who works under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). We are looking for highly motivated people to be part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing positive care for our service users across North London NHS Foundation Trust's Inpatient AHP service, in the role of Band 3 Activity Worker.
Working on our acute inpatient wards at Highgate Mental Health Centre West, the post-holder will be supervised by the ward OT and will work with the ward team to co-ordinate a programme of meaningful ward activities based on service user choice and interests.
Training and a robust induction will be provided to support the post holder in this sometimes challenging environment and support role and professional development. Post holders will be expected to participate in their own skill development and engage in supervision and reflective practice as part of the role. All ward based staff are required to undertake training in the Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA).

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be ward based, providing a programme of meaningful activity in order to support service user recovery. They will be expected to co-ordinate and run a variety of individual and group activities based on service user choice.
The post holder will liaise closely with nursing and OT staff to maximise opportunities for positive engagement in line with service user care plans.
The working pattern will comprise two shift patterns (Early 9-5, Late 12-8), as well as every third Saturday/Sunday (9-5).

The post holder will provide specialist advice and support to patients and their carers throughout their care pathway, as well as providing education and support to staff throughout the trust. The post holder will support the consultant team as well as delivering nurse led services for patients with haemato-oncology.
This role is currently based at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool, with a clinic in The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Aintree.
You should possess advanced clinical skills, be an excellent communicator, leader and educator, and be highly motivated to lead and deliver a service. A background in cancer nursing is ideal, recent experience in working within the speciality of haemato-oncology would be essential.

Job summary
The Assistant Psychologist plays a central role within the Adult Trauma and Psychotherapy department, holding several functions that span the domains of clinical activity, outcome measures, audit, research and quality improvement. In this role, you will develop expertise in paediatric dietetics within a supportive environment. We currently offer a variety of training programmes for healthcare professionals across the Child Health Directorate. The successful candidate will contribute to these vital learning and development initiatives with the support of our existing team.
We emphasise peer support, clinical supervision, and continuing professional development. Our well-established programme facilitates the training of dietetic students on A, B, and C placements.
This role requires cross-site travel.

Main duties of the job
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced dietitians and work within broader multi-professional teams. You will assess, treat, and provide specialist dietetic care for paediatric patients.
As an autonomous practitioner, you will manage your own caseload of patients with physical, psychological, and cognitive issues. Additionally, you will provide support, advice, and training to less experienced staff and students.
You will act as a resource within the department and Trust, offering information and advice on relevant conditions. It is essential to maintain accurate dietetic records in accordance with Trust guidelines, Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) requirements, and the British Dietetic Association (BDA) standards.
Our department works flexibly to meet service needs, supporting both inpatient and outpatient services. This may include work outside core hours and travel to other hospital sites, including Scarborough, Bridlington, Malton, and Selby.
The ability to transport yourself and equipment across the locality during the course of a normal working day is required for this vacancy. Access to a vehicle that can be used for business purposes and hold a full and valid driving licence (role will involve travel to numerous addresses that cannot be easily accessed by public transport means) is required.

Job summary
The Respiratory Department at Sherwood Forest Hospitals currently has three base wards for in-patients at King's Mill Hospital with an eight-bedded respiratory support unit to allow acute and chronic non-invasive ventilation. Respiratory outpatient clinics are held at King's Mill and Newark Hospitals as well in the Ashfield and Mansfield Community Hospitals.
As well as general Respiratory out-patient clinics, we have also sub-specialist clinics for Lung Cancer, Interstitial Lung Disease, Sleep/Ventilators, COPD, TB and Bronchiectasis. The Respiratory Department sees approximately 2600 new outpatients per year and over 6400 follow up patients. There are bronchoscopy sessions at both King's Mill Hospital and in Newark. We also perform Endobronchial ultrasound, Thoracoscopy and indwelling pleural catheters at King's Mill. We support pulmonary rehabilitation and oxygen services at three sites across mid-Nottinghamshire.
The Respiratory department has excellent clinical support from 10 respiratory physiologists with access to full pulmonary function tests, exhaled nitric oxide, exercise tests and muscle strength tests. There are also facilities for in-patient and out-patient sleep studies, with 4000 patients under follow-up for sleep disorders. The Respiratory department also organises the community oxygen assessment programme.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and dynamic Speech and Language Therapy Team, working on the acute wards at The Royal Oldham Hospital, rotating into the dedicated critical care Speech and Language Therapy Team and participating in the weekly videofluoroscopy clinic and our out-patient service.
The successful post holder will join the existing team of 8 Speech and Language Therapists (6.77wte) and 2 Assistants (0.97wte) who between them cover acute medicine and surgery, critical care, neonatal intensive care, acute paediatrics, out-patients, videofluoroscopy and FEES, providing excellent opportunities for shared learning and experience. Job summary
A medical receptionist is the primary representative of our GP Practice and is responsible for the efficient administration of all related processes in order to support the work of the clinical team.

Main duties of the job
The Cardiac Cath Lab carries out many cardiac procedures including ASD/PDA closures, ICD implants, diagnostic catheters and combined MRI/angio cases in our state of the art Cardiac Cath Lab suite. In addition we provide continuing care to our heart and lung transplant patients.
The Interventional Radiology performs procedures that includes central venous access device insertion, biopsy, airway intervention, feeding device insertion, vascular intervention, angiography, and angioplasty.

This role will support delivery of a dynamic portfolio of cardiovascular and heart valve research studies, including structural heart, imaging, device and CTIMP trials.The post holder will provide operational leadership across the full research lifecycle - from feasibility and study set-up to close-out - ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP, MHRA and Trust governance frameworks. With a strong emphasis on digital health integration, data governance and imaging research oversight, this role is ideal for an experienced research professional passionate about innovation in cardiovascular research delivery.You will work closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, imaging specialists, research nurses and academic collaborators to ensure high-quality, efficient and compliant study management within a large acute NHS Trust setting.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will coordinate and manage a portfolio of heart valve and cardiovascular research studies, including TAVI, surgical valve, multimodal imaging and device trials.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead on, conduct and deliver patient research visits including scheduling, related comms and data management
Preparing and managing IRAS submissions, REC applications and substantial amendments
Supporting SoECAT and AcoRD processes in collaboration with R&D and finance teamsteams.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team, providing high-quality anaesthesia services across a broad range of specialties, including general surgery, major trauma, obstetrics, and neurosurgery (all covered by on call duties) At the heart of our service is a commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care of the highest standard. A requirement of this job is to be able to run our peri-operative allergy clinic independently.
In addition to clinical duties, you will contribute to teaching and training through our partnership with the University of Plymouth. This includes mentoring junior doctors, delivering lectures, and supporting both undergraduate and postgraduate clinical learning. You'll also be encouraged to participate in continuing medical education and quality improvement activities.
