Main duties of the job
As an Alzheimer's Society UKDTN Senior Clinical Research Nurse, the post holder will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure effective delivery ofearly phase dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) CTIMP and ATIMP clinical trials. Working as a Study Coordinator, they will support studies from site initiation through to close-out, collaborating with Principal Investigators, research teams and study partners to ensure high-quality research delivery and participant support. They will be responsible for the coordination and management of assigned studies, including participant screening, recruitment, assessment, monitoring, informed consent, clinical procedures, biological sample collection and accurate recording of trial dataand compliance with ICH-GCP and research regulations. They will contribute to improving access to dementia research, developing referral pathways and engaging with underserved communities.
The post holder will support the development of junior staff, contribute to training and clinical competency development, participate in audits and service improvement activities, and represent the research team at relevant meetings. The role requires strong clinical skills, including phlebotomy, cannulation and medication administration, alongside the ability to work collaboratively across local services and attend regional and UK-wide UKDTN and Alzheimer's Society meetings as required.

Main duties of the job
The Senior Nurse for Surgical Specialties, Imaging, Critical Care and Theatres provides strategic and operational nursing leadership across the division, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate patient care while maintaining high standards of quality, governance and patient experience. The post holder leads and supports matrons, specialist nurses and multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical, workforce and financial objectives, translating Trust nursing strategy into measurable service outcomes. Key responsibilities include workforce planning, recruitment and retention, professional development, quality improvement, risk management, implementation of PSIRF methodology, and leading innovation and service transformation programmes. Working closely with Clinical Directors, General Managers and other senior leaders, the Senior Nurse promotes research, education and evidence-based practice, drives performance against key targets, ensures compliance with regulatory and professional standards, and champions a culture of continuous improvement, staff wellbeing, equality, diversity and patient-centred care.

Job summary
Working within the Integrated Operations Department, you will join the Homeless Intermediate Care Team (HICT), part of the North Central London (NCL) Out of Hospital Care Model (OOHCM). The OOHCM provides health and social care support, alongside temporary accommodation, for people experiencing homelessness following discharge from hospital. The service aims to break the cycle of individuals being discharged back onto the streets, leading to repeated presentations at emergency departments.
The Homeless Intermediate Care Team supports patients discharged from UCLH, Royal Free, and Whittington Hospitals, including those placed within Discharge to Assess (D2A) Pathway 2 step-down beds. The team delivers case management, assessment, treatment coordination, and assertive signposting to community-based services for a time-limited period outside of the hospital setting. The service works with adults who are homeless, rough sleepers, those at risk of rough sleeping, and individuals with no recourse to public funds (NRPF).
You will support the team with the administrative duties to support our team and our patients.
Main duties of the job
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both the clinical and operational functions of the service. You will contribute to the effective delivery and day-to-day coordination of HICT, ensuring high standards of administrative support and service delivery across the multidisciplinary team.
The role involves working within a multidisciplinary environment, supporting the delivery of a holistic, wraparound model of care for homeless individuals across North Central London. Responsibilities will include coordinating meetings and MDT activity, managing referrals and service administration, maintaining accurate records, and supporting communication between internal and external stakeholders.

Job summary
This part-time associate autonomic scientist/practitioner (ACAS) role exists to support the full range of specialist autonomic tests with specific responsibility for the autonomic 24-hour blood pressure and heart rate monitoring service.
The ACAS team run the specialist autonomic blood pressure and heart rate monitor service and support the other specialist autonomic tests, with additional responsibility for procurement, stock control, mandatory cleaning and preparation for autonomic tests. Full training will be provided.
You will have experience in a healthcare or customer services setting, working with people in a paid or voluntary role. You may or may not have formal education in healthcare. Knowledge of autonomic disorders is not essential: full training will be provided. You will have attention to detail, good written and spoken English, a pleasant manner and good time management skills. Experienced HCAs seeking a challenge but wanting to remain active in patient care are welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will support the clinical autonomic practitioners and scientists in the diagnostic service. Under supervision you will run the specialist autonomic 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure and heart rate service and provide all support functions to the wider diagnostic service and its patients.
Experienced associates may be able to extend their role to include other supervised autonomic tests subject to successfully completing the relevant training. You will need to be able to master specialist software, to accurately transfer and archive data and to perform some data analysis to a high standard utilising judgement and training.
In addition, you will facilitate and support the other autonomic investigations performed by the clinical autonomic scientists; this includes a wide variety of tasks, such as mandatory cleaning, processing blood samples, top up of supplies, procurement and filing/archiving, to name a few.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, innovative, and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our award-winning Allied Health Professional (AHP) Service as a Senior Occupational Therapist, supporting Adult Mental Health Services across Portsmouth.

Main duties of the job
As the Occupational Therapy lead within the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team, you will act as the primary point of contact for occupational therapy expertise and referrals.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Attending and contributing to weekly multidisciplinary team meetings, providing specialist occupational perspectives for individuals with complex presentations where traditional medical or psychological interventions have been less effective.
*Completing comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and developing person-centred intervention plans.
*Managing a caseload of individuals requiring specialist occupational therapy intervention during periods of crisis and recovery.
*Delivering urgent occupational therapy assessments to support safe and effective home treatment.
*Supporting individuals to develop meaningful routines, improve occupational engagement, and reduce social isolation.
*Assessing functional abilities and independent living skills within home environments.

Main duties of the job
As our Administrative Assistant, Medicines Finance, you will:
- Act as the first point of contact for the Medicines Finance Team, handling telephone calls and enquiries from patients, GPs, clinicians and staff with professionalism and discretion
- Manage the Homecare database, ensuring patient demographic details are accurate and kept up to date
- Carry out invoice matching using Epic, identifying discrepancies between contracted drug prices and invoiced amounts, and liaising with Homecare providers and the finance team to resolve queries and secure credit notes where needed

Job summary
We are seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to work in our Liaison service. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to expand their existing knowledge and skill set working in a Mental Health Liaison Team within a general hospital.
The team operates over a 24 hour period 7 days a week so weekend and out of hours working is essential.
You will be an experienced Mental Health Professional who is able to work autonomously with patients with either an acute mental health concern or worsening of a pre-existing condition, you will be able to conduct full, holistic biopsychosocial mental health assessments, undertake robust risk assessments and management plans and develop collaborative recovery focused care plans with patients and their carers. Working alongside our acute physical health colleagues at Queen Alexandra Hospital, you'll be an important figure in advocating for patients and promoting parity of esteem within the acute setting.
The team is made up of a full MDT and includes mental health nurses, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, peer support workers and health care support workers. It is a rich learning environment, with daily MDT meetings, reflective practice, round table discussions as well as more formal teaching sessions.
As a team we provide education to our physical health colleagues and there are opportunities for staff to be involved in this important part of our role.
Main duties of the job
Mental Health Liaison is the sub specialty of Psychiatry involving assessment and management of mental health needs related to physical problems and for people presenting with primary mental health problems to the acute hospital.
This service aims to provide acute hospital staff with specialist advice on the management of psychological and psychiatric problems. The team prioritises on risk, location and complexity of referrals and coordinates resources appropriately.
The primary function of this role is to be a core member of the Psychiatric Liaison Team and develop the skills to take responsibility for the provision of on-going assessments, care planning, treatment and support of people who may come into contact with the acute general hospital,

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior school hearing screener to join our friendly and busy School Hearing Screening programme.
They are responsible for day-to day management of all aspects of the programme, including staff (assistant school screener), prompt and appropriate referral to audiology. The service identifies primary school children that may have hearing loss to be referred for further testing so that rehabilitation or assistance can be offered at an early stage.
This is a specialist role requiring an experienced school hearing screener.
This role is school term-time only.
This role will cover all Croydon Junior / primary schools, based at the Crystal Children's Development Centre, Malling Close, Croydon.
The successful candidates will be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills, have good children handling skills and be highly organized, working under pressure. Experience of dealing with junior staff members required as you will be working with an assistant school screener.
Proposed Interview date : 19th October 2026
Main duties of the job
1. Act as the professional lead for the day-to day management evaluation and quality assurance of the screening process.
2. To ensure all Croydon school children eligible are offered the primary school hearing screening in a timely fashion.
3. Ensure that a high-quality service is maintained
4. To work independently carrying out hearing screening in primary school children (Year 1 or 2)
5. Accurately recording clinical and test data in accordance with clinical / professional guidelines and standard operating procedures.
6. To obtain informed consent from parents using national guidelines followed by a communication about screening test results and follow up for arrangements of children who require further testing.
7. To liaise with parents and team members, informing them of the screening outcomes as appropriate.
8. To carry out the hearing screening to a high standard in accordance with national standard protocol and local procedures.
9. To accurately record and download clinical test data onto Emis and Auditbase patients notes.
10. To establish a working report with other team members, leaving accurate and up-to-date information daily. This will include information where there are specific data quality issues.

Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Estates Officer to support the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality estates services across the Trust. This varied and rewarding role will involve overseeing contractor performance, supporting maintenance and capital projects, monitoring estates compliance and performance, and ensuring the Trust meets its statutory, regulatory, and health and safety obligations.
Working closely with clinical and corporate colleagues, service managers, contractors, and external partners, you will contribute to estates improvement initiatives, sustainability objectives, and the development of environments that support high-quality mental health care. You will also play a key role in designated estates compliance areas, helping to ensure services are delivered in line with legislative requirements, Health Technical Memoranda, and best practice standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated estates professional to make a meaningful contribution to the Trust's operational and strategic objectives, ensuring the estate remains safe, effective, sustainable, and fit for purpose for patients, staff, and visitors.Please note: The base for this role is Bath NHS House but the postholder could be deployed anywhere in the Trust.
Main duties of the job
The post is responsible for supporting the management and delivery of the Trust's Estates services, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, health and safety standards, and Trust objectives. Key duties include overseeing contractor performance, acting as a Responsible Person for designated technical compliance areas, supporting capital and maintenance projects, developing estates initiatives, monitoring estates performance and compliance data, contributing to sustainability and energy efficiency objectives, and working closely with staff, service managers and external partners to ensure safe, effective and value-for-money estates services across the Trust.

Many of our consultant colleagues undertake regional and national educational, governance and leadership roles alongside delivering acute care.
The Acute Medical and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) team includes 15 consultants with a breadth of specialty knowledge. We are supported by an excellent multidisciplinary team. This includes 3 Advanced care practitioners, one consultant nurse, 2 pharmacists, 3 physician associates, occupational and physiotherapists, discharge facilitators, locally employed senior and junior clinical fellows and rotating doctors in training.
We are keen to attract candidates interested in service development will support this in post.
Main duties of the job

This appointment will be made in accordance with the 2003 Consultant Contract Terms and Conditions. The Job Description indicates the main duties of the post, which may be reviewed in the light of experience and developments within service. Any review will be undertaken in conjunction with the post holder.
This is a full time 10PA post. However, applications for less than full time work or job shares would also be welcomed. The successful applicants would join the medical on call rota. This currently includes 1 in 8 weekends and 1 in 24 weekdays and overnight

Job summary
- This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team of Physician Associates providing care for patients admitted to Trauma and Orthopaedics.
- The postholder will be part of a team of PAs working across different areas in the department; wards, clinic, theatres, etc.
- They will be working closely with Consultant of the week, Registrars and Junior Orthopaedic Research Fellows responsible for patients on the ward, including both elective and trauma patients. Dedicated sessions for clinic and theatre work will also be developed for the post holder.
- The PA team also lead the departments virtual fracture clinic alongside the on callconsultant.The post holder will be required to provide assistance to the Consultant Surgeons and Specialist Registrars in the provision of high quality care within the department.
- They will be expected to participate in all aspects of the patient pathway as appropriate and to perform delegated duties with a high degree of clinical skill and knowledge, working within operating theatres, wards and outpatient clinics.
- The role involves being second on call with the registrars over night and weekend duties in a 1-9 week rota basis.
Main duties of the job
Assess and examine acutely unwell medical patients, order appropriate investigations, interpret investigation findings, form a list of differential diagnoses and recommend treatment accordingly.o Active member of the daily consultant led ward rounds, presenting and reviewing patientsbased on the ward, and making timely and relevant documentation as appropriate.o Perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, subject to training/experience. The West OPS CMHT admin support a number of clinical and medical staff who deliver mental health care and treatment within the community. Main duties of the job
You will be paid in accordance with Annex 21 of the Agenda for Change. To apply you will need Maths and English A-C GCSE or equivalent qualification. Upon joining the Trust, staff will be paid based on a Band 4 NHS training rate of pay for two-year apprenticeship, starting salary will be £25,272 (based on 26/27 NHS pay scale.
Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will be eligible to move onto a full Senior Project Support Officer contract of employment. The salary for this will be Band 4 £28,392 per annum.
When you commence your apprenticeship in the Trust's PMO Team you will work alongside our Senior Project Support Officers who will mentor and support you throughout your apprenticeship journey towards achieving a successful completion of your L3 business administration accreditation.

An opportunity has opened to join our kitchen team in the Alexandra Hospitals central production unit. This position is for a Chef support who will assist in our Central Production Unit for the production of meals for both patient services and for our very popular staff restaurant. You will be confident in providing credible and professional advice on all workforce related matters to our 8,000+ colleagues across the organisation.
Main duties of the job
In this varied and busy role, you will support the Medicine and Emergency Care Group. This is one of the Trusts largest clinical care group and includes our Emergency and Acute departments along with Specialty Medicine areas such as Renal, Cardiology, Diabetes and Respiratory. You will be providing first level support to our Line Managers on all employee relations related matters including dignity at work, performance management, disciplinary and grievance issues.This posts will also have a particular focus on supporting managers with their sickness absence management.
To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to think on your feet and work to tight deadlines. It is essential that you can work well under pressure whilst always maintaining a professional attitude.You will have well developed IT skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will hold the level 5 Intermediate CIPD qualification or be working towards its completion, or a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
