Job summary
The Tutbury Practice is looking for an organised, motivated and reliable Administrator to join our friendly and dedicated practice team.
This is a varied and important role within the practice, supporting the clinical and administrative teams to ensure that patients receive safe, effective and well-coordinated care.
The successful candidate will be someone who is able to work independently, manage competing priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Previous experience within an NHS or GP practice environment would be advantageous, although we would welcome applications from candidates with strong transferable administrative skills.
The role will be for 25 - 30 hours per week, worked across 5 days Monday to Friday, with working hours to be agreed with the successful candidate.
The postition is subject to a DBS check and occupational health asssessment.
Main duties of the job
- QOF recalls managing patient recalls and follow-up.
- QOF reports running and monitoring QOF reports to support target achievement.
- GP2GP processing incoming and outgoing patient records.
- Registrations and deductions processing patient registrations, deductions and related administration.
- Referrals processing referrals and ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Scanning scanning and filing clinical and administrative correspondence.
- Coding accurately coding clinical information onto patient records.
- Summarising summarising new patient medical records.
- Safeguarding administration supporting safeguarding processes and records.
- Learning Disability (LD) administration supporting LD registers, recalls and administration.
- Severe Mental Illness (SMI) administration supporting SMI registers, reviews and recalls.
- Carers administration maintaining the carers register and associated recalls.
- Gold Standards Framework (GSF) providing administrative support for GSF patients.
- Blood pressure administration supporting blood pressure monitoring and recalls.
- Culling reviewing and culling patient records in line with guidance.

About us
The Tutbury Practice is a friendly semi-rural GP surgery located in the village of Tutbury, providing high-quality primary care to a patient population of approximately 8,500. We proudly serve patients from Tutbury and the surrounding areas, including Rolleston, Hatton, and Stretton.
Our clinical team is made up of three GP partners and three salaried GPs, supported by a skilled multidisciplinary team that includes a Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, nurse practitioner, and first contact physiotherapist. We are also fortunate to have a friendly, experienced nursing team, alongside a dedicated administration and reception team who play a vital role in supporting patient care.
The practice operates a total digital triage system using accuRx, enabling efficient access to care and streamlined patient communication. We use EMIS Web and Docman to support safe, effective clinical practice and document management.
The Tutbury Practice is a training practice for GP registrars and medical students and is an active research practice, contributing to research that helps improve patient care locally and nationally. We hold regular clinical and practice meetings to support teamwork, learning, and service development, and we consistently achieve high QOF outcomes.

Main duties of the job
You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of middle grade doctors, ACPs, ENPs and consultants in the ED at the Princess of Wales Hospital providing front line care to patients of all ages. The department provides a consultant led service and there is direct consultant shop floor cover approximately 13 hours a day, 7 days a week. This role will involve 6 months working in the main department and 6 months working exclusively in the children's emergency bay.
The ED at the Princess of Wales Hospital sees approximately 64,000 new patients per year. There is substantial exposure to the breadth of EM cases ranging from seriously ill or injured adults and children to minor injuries, with ample opportunities to develop EM procedural skills. Our ED has a dedicated, dynamic and friendly multi-disciplinary team. This provides an excellent and supportive working environment.
You will have opportunities to be involved in undergraduate teaching and mentoring junior doctors.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Band 7 Specialist Podiatrist to join our Bank team on a temporary basis, working across Harrow or Brent. Main duties of the job
On behalf of the chief operating officer/deputy chief executive / accountable emergency officer for emergency preparedness, response and resilience, the Head of EPRR will:
Ensure that the Trust meets its statutory obligations under the Civil Contingencies Act, 2004 (CCA) and complies with all relevant EPRR guidance for the NHS, including the NHS EPRR Framework 2022 and non-statutory guidance that accompanies the CCA and for business continuity and resilience preparedness.
Supports the Trust Accountable Emergency Officer (AEO) by providing specialist advice, coordinating EPRR assurance, maintaining an evidence base against the NHS Core Standards, and reporting compliance, risks and actions to Trust governance and the Board.
Develop and deliver the Trust's emergency preparedness and resilience function, improve standards of such preparedness across the organisation and provide leadership on specialist emergency preparedness and resilience issues.
Ensure the Trust policies and plans are aligned to the NHS Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Framework 2022, relevant statutory duties (including the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, NHS Act 2006 and Health and Care Act 2022), and the NHS Standard Contract.

Job summary
This is a full-time clinical post based at The Royal Eye Unit, Kingston Hospital, to provide elective and emergency care for ophthalmology patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
There is no out of hours on-call commitment.
The post offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their clinical knowledge and skills in the management with patients with acute ophthalmology problems, cornea and cataract pathology. It would be ideally suited for a candidate who has already received basic training in cataract surgery but is not fully independent and wishes to build up their experience and surgical numbers.
The Fellowship will be primarily supervised by the Medical Retina Consultants.
Main duties of the job
The post holder would be expected to:
Regular clinical duties, based at The Royal Eye Unit, Kingston Hospital involve the management of ophthalmic outpatients which may include a community clinic close to the hospital, with support from a Retina Consultant.
Kingston hospital has regular clinics specialising in age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, uveitis, and general retinal disease
The post holder will receive training in the management of medical retinal disorders, including intravitreal injections and insertion of intravitreal steroid implants and retinal laser procedures.
The post holder will have the opportunity to attend weekly Retina Clinic at Moorfields Eye Hospital
The Fellow will be given protected theatre time to allow exposure and training in cataract surgery.
The post holder will receive training in the management of medical retinal conditions.
Provide clinical advice and where appropriate treatment.
To maintain their general ophthalmic skills, the post holder will have a regular Eye Casualty session at Kingston Hospital.
The post holder will be responsible for organising theatre lists in conjunction with the supervising consultant.
The post holder will be expected to support inpatient and ward referrals.
Help develop the service in accordance with Trust policy.
Support trainees as appropriate.

Establish and maintain ward/department stock profiles by physical check and identify and withdraw surplus/obsolete/out of date products and re-distribute/dispose off as appropriate.

Provide a topping up service to wards/departments using Automatic Data Capture Devices (PDAs) to record replenishment information.

Main duties of the job
To provide a highly specialist systemic assessment of referrals of a significant and complex nature in order to formulate and implement plans for the treatment and/or management of a child's or adolescent's mental health problems, based upon an appropriate conceptual framework and employing methods based upon evidence.
To assess complex children, adolescents and their families as part of a risk assessment.
To consult to parents/carers (including foster parents) as part of a treatment plan.
To work in ways which are sensitive to and appropriate for the needs of families from a wide range of racial, cultural and religious backgrounds. This includes abilities to understand and offer therapeutic interventions to a variety of family forms including single parents, same sex couples and their wider family networks, accommodated children and their network of care, children with learning difficulties, and children who are on the 'Child Protection Plan', and parents with mental health difficulties. Competence is required in undertaking systemic therapy with families through the use of an interpreter where families do not yet have sufficient understanding of the English language.
To provide highly specialist evidence based systemic psychotherapy with clinical autonomy drawing on a range of models and wherever possible brief interventions.

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and suitably qualified HCPC registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist, experienced in Haematology, to apply for a Blood Science Section Manager post in the Blood Sciences Department at Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen.
The post holder will be educated to an appropriate MSc level or have equivalent experience with an IBMS Specialist Diploma in Haematology, be up to date with developments in the discipline and able to demonstrate relevant CPD in accordance with HCPC. The post holder will have post registration clinical and technical experience at Specialist Biomedical Scientist level, and In-depth knowledge of complex instrumentation / laboratory techniques and QA/QC procedures.
The newly refurbished and modernised Blood Science Laboratory provides acute and routine primary and secondary care services in Haematology and Coagulation, a busy Blood Transfusion department and Biochemistry, alongside a Special Proteins department, and a wide ranging POCT service.
Effective organisational and communication skills are essential, and you will be expected to work within and manage a team efficiently.
We are a registered training laboratory and promote and embrace a philosophy of learning and development.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will section manage and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Haematology sections of the Blood Sciences Laboratory.
They will be responsible for providing expert advice to users of the service, evaluating new methodologies, developing, growing and optimizing the service in conjunction with Health Board Service Manager and Consultant Clinical Scientist staff.
The Haematology Section is currently equipped with the Siemens Advia 2120i Haematology analysers, Cellavision Digital Morphology System, and Werfen TOPS Coagulation analysers, together with supporting Haematology systems.
The post holder will be responsible for the development of the service and ensuring that it is robust and responsive to the needs of our users.
They will provide professional, technical and managerial leadership to all staff in Haematology and will be responsible for training, assessing and ensuring competence, monitoring work practice, in accordance with agreed standards as set by United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) Limited.
The successful candidate will also be jointly responsible for the management of staff absence and annual leave.
The department operates a contractual shift pattern supporting Round the Clock Services, and out of hours working on the Haematology, Coagulation and Blood Transfusion rota will be part of your role.

Job summary
We're looking for an experienced mental health nurse/mental health practitioner to join our team working in HMP Frankland, which is a high-security men's prison in County Durham.
This is a rewarding post, where you will have the opportunity to practice a full range of psychiatric skills and interventions.
The role of the clinical lead will be varied which will include assessments and intervention.
You will make on going assessment of needs reflecting individual circumstances, including risk assessment, providing relevant interventions and coordinating discharge planning.

Main duties of the job
You will have experience providing compassionate mental health care and have an understanding of the criminal justice system. You will make on going assessment of need reflecting individual circumstances and provide relevant interventions and input to discharge planning. You will be required to have strong coordination and planning skills, with the ability to make decisions based on comprehensive health and risk assessments.
You should be innovative, flexible and able to engage with patients with complex needs. You will be committed to a person-centred approach and have the ability to prioritise.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate must pass Police Vetting before commencing employment. This includes a thorough review of personal information, including a criminal record check (both spent and unspent), a review of financial standing, and social media checks. Please note that vetting checks may also extend to family members and associates. You must also have resided in the UK for 3 years at the point of application.

Working in Aseptic Services is a vocation. It is technical, detailed, sometimes repetitive but the learning never ends.
We provide a range of injectable medicines e.g Chemotherapy and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) for patients, using isolator cabinets in a cleanroom environment.
Working as part of a team, once trained you would be responsible for making medicines using needles and syringes.
Working under supervision you also will rotate through other areas of the department e.g. assembly, worksheet and labels etc. so you need to be able to follow procedures to the letter and be able to document things clearly and concisely.
No experience is necessary for the band 2 position as comprehensive training will be given.
This position offers progression from Band 2 to Band 3 after completion of training and qualification.
Only candidates with suitable experience and NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or accepted equivalent may apply for the Band 3 position.

Main duties of the job
To aseptically prepare and manufacture products including parental feeds, clinical trials and cytotoxic regimes in accordance with written guidelines and procedures meeting daily production targets. To support the team in the provision of a safe and efficient technical service.
You will assemble trays containing consumables and ingredients for 1st stage checks, therefore must be able to document information clearly and accurately.
You will perform transfer sanitisation using isopropyl alcohol and other disinfectants and be responsible for cleaning equipment and areas or work on a regular basis.

Main duties of the job
The Head of Fire, Health & Safety and Security is required to ensure compliance with the various statutory legislation, deliver training, carry out inspections and audits against the current fire, health & safety and security practices around the Trust and legislation that is in place. Ensuring a programme of audit is in place to provide assurance that organisational fire, health & safety and security policies are being followed.
We are looking for someone with the necessary qualifications, knowledge and experience to lead a small team who are required to ensure compliance with statutory legislation.
The post holder will be an expert in their field and will provide strategic direction and leadership in the management of the Trust's statutory Health, Safety, Fire and Security duties to ensure a healthy environment for all employees, service users, contractors and public.
