The Respiratory Research Team is recruiting! The Research and Innovation Department is continuing its exciting expansion. We have several research specialities and the Respiratory Research Portfolio is looking for 2 Clinical Trials Assistants. They are both full time posts (1.0 WTE), fixed term contracts due to associated funding. One post is for 16 months, one for 14 months. Your primary site will be SJUH, but you will be predominantly required to work across Leeds, remotely and visiting patients in their homes. The post holder will contribute actively to the conduct, coordination, and delivery of the Yorkshire Cancer Research funded YorQuit study , working alongside the Respiratory research and the Lung screening teams. The main tasks are: Patient approach and recruitment, visiting patients at home for data and assessments, data inputting , co-ordinating patient follow ups as per protocol and research governance. A driving license and access to own car is essential. In addition of being responsible for ensuring that high standards of trial delivery, patient safety, and patient satisfaction are maintained, compliance with Trust policy, study protocol requirements, GCP and local and national guidance and legislation is required. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual with a keen interest in research and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care . The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, have experience speaking to the public and the ability to build effective working relationships with patients, carers and multidisciplinary colleagues. Although you will sit within the Respiratory Research team, you will manage your own workload and work closely with the Lung Cancer Screening clinical team. The successful candidate will be able to manage competing priorities , work independently visiting patients at home , and maintain a high level of attention to detail. A proactive approach and enthusiasm for improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice is essential. The post-holder will have the opportunity to develop their research skills through formal and experiential learning, supervision, mentoring and peer support. The post holder will be confident managing data and have basic IT skills with a willingness to learn and develop other clinical skills. Experience working within the NHS with a familiarity of NHS systems and databases would be advantageous, however applications are welcomed from individuals with a genuine interest in developing a career in research. The ability to adapt to a varied workload and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment is key to success in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our service as apart-time (6 PA) Consultant Psychiatrist in Learning Disability Psychiatry, as part of the reconfiguration of Psychiatry of Intellectual Disability (Learning Disability) provision within the Community Learning Disability Teams in Dorset.
As the consultant psychiatrist you'll provide acommunity psychiatry service for adults with learning disabilitiesacross the Purbeck and Ferndown areas. The role does not include epilepsy management, which is provided by the specialist Dorset Epilepsy Service within the Neurology service.
You will be supported by experienced colleagues in Learning Disability Psychiatry and will work as part of awell-established, integrated Community Learning Disability Team, with additional support from the Intensive Support Team. You'll contribute to weekly IST review meetings and the wider development of community-based Learning Disability services.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of community-based Learning Disability services, working collaboratively with a skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities across Dorset.
Main duties of the job
You'll provide psychiatric leadership, assessment, diagnosis and treatment for adults with learning disabilities, alongside psychiatric input to patients supported by the IST. Clinical work will be a combination of clinics and home visits. The role includes medical cross-cover for annual, study and emergency sick leave with Consultant colleagues across the adult Learning Disability service.
We offer a £10,000 Recruitment & Retention Payment, paid monthly during your first year in post, alongside a relocation package of up to £10,000 if you are relocating to Dorset. The core purpose of the Pharmacy Department is to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient use of medicines to improve patient outcomes and support high quality clinical care.
As a key member of the pharmacy leadership team, the Deputy Lead Pharmacist contributes to this purpose by providing expert professional and operational leadership across all aspects of pharmaceutical service delivery. Main duties of the job
Please note, this role will be based at both Cowley Road Medical Practice and Banbury Cross Health Centre. There will be an expected split of service delivery over both sites.
The Deputy Lead Pharmacist plays a key leadership and operational role within the Pharmacy Department, supporting the Lead Pharmacist in the strategic and day-to-day management of pharmacy services. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of safe, effective, and high quality pharmaceutical care across BCHC and wider PML, ensuring compliance with clinical governance, medicines optimisation, and regulatory standards.
The Deputy Lead Pharmacist will provide expert clinical and professional advice, lead designated service areas or projects, and act as deputy in the absence of the Lead Pharmacist. This includes supporting workforce development, quality improvement initiatives, and having oversight of all trainees within the pharmacy team.

Main duties of the job

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Ophthalmologist within the Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Cataract service. This is a substantive 8.0 PA, consultant post.
Main duties of the job
We have a well-established oculoplastic service with high volume periocular skin cancer and lid malposition surgery. Endoscopic, endonasal and external lacrimal surgery is carried out both with and without assistance of ENT colleagues. There is a 6 weekly joint thyroid clinic with a consultant in endocrinology and orthoptic input and the majority of orbital cases are also managed locally. Research is encouraged and there have been regular prospective trials.

Ward 3 Respiratory ward are looking for an enthusiastic health care support worker who wants to make a difference.
The ward receives respiratory patients from the Emergency Department as well as step down patients from ITU/HDU. It is an extremely busy unit comprising of 28 beds.
Exceptional team working is essential to this role, along with a warm and friendly bedside manner and the ability to work in a high-pressure area. Previous experience in a hospital/acute setting is beneficial but we accept applications from those without hospital care experience. Showing enthusiasm for learning and developing is key.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting the qualified nurses to meet the basic nursing needs of the patients in their care, as well as working from their own initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
You will need to have outstanding communication skills - you will be part of a team of fellow HCSW's, physician's assistants, qualified nurses and nurse practitioners, junior Doctors and consultants. You will be expected to communicate with these members of the team along with liaising with our ward clerks on admissions, transfers and discharges.
Your day to day routine will consist of but is not limited to: meeting patients hygiene and toileting needs, serving meals and assisting patients to eat and drink, taking and recording of vital observations, maintaining good levels of stock and PPE, assisting with wound dressings, disposing of hazardous waste safely and correctly and documenting in patients notes.
You will be expected to have a good standard of literacy and numeracy, due to being required to document about the patients skin and the taking and recording of vital signs.
There will be the opportunity to further develop with training and education, we enrol all of our HCSWs on to basic life support training.

The post holder will deliver high-quality, comprehensive mental health services with the primary aim of improving the psychological health and wellbeing of individuals with complex psychosis within a designated Devon locality.
Working within a Recovery and Rehabilitation Service, the role focuses on delivering recovery-oriented, evidence-based interventions and providing support to service users and their families.

This is a great opportunity to be part of Kent & Medway's NHS 111 crisis mental health line for children and young people. The UK is one of the first countries in the world to provide a 3 digit emergency line for mental health needs. Children who are in crisis or concerned family and loved ones can now call 111, select the mental health option and speak to a trained mental health professional.
The right candidate will triage and guide callers with next steps such as facilitating access to Crisis Assessment Triage Team which provide urgent assessments, or to alternative mental health support teams or organisations that can offer the right support.
We invite applications from qualified professionals with Children's Mental Health experience.
You will be working in our Offices in Maidstone Studios (no hybrid working/home-working is available for this role). Working patterns are currently Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am to 6pm.
Main duties of the job
- Receive and handle NHS 111 calls professionally whilst demonstrating active listening skills, professional curiosity and risk management. Document calls accurately on NHS IT system.
- Advise and support junior NHS 111 call handlers with calls, reviewing risk concerns and support to direct their calls to the most appropriate services.
- Review and evaluate the immediate needs of the caller through the process of a clinical triage. Risk assess, and direct to clinically indicated services.
- Triage and risk assess referrals from Accident and Emergency departments and paediatric wards, referrals will either require onward referrals to the Crisis Assessment Triage team, Locality CYPMHs or signposting to Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprises.
- Be able to remain professional and calm whilst managing difficult and challenging NHS 111 calls, using your clinical skills and experience to de-escalate and manage crisis situations.

An opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Catering Supervisor in Royal Liverpool Hospital - Fresh retail unit. Hours: Mon- Fri: 12:30pm - 8.30pm
The successful candidate must be prepared to study for the level 3 food hygiene certificate and NVQ 3.

Main duties of the job
As Business Change Officer, you will support the implementation of change across a designated portfolio, collaborating closely with project and programme teams to prepare the business for change and ensure successful adoption. You may also lead low complexity change activity.
You will provide a bridge between project teams and end users, ensuring that change activity is well planned, effectively supported and safely implemented to realise agreed benefits.

Cleaning at LUFT will include working to the National Standards of Cleaning 2025, which incorporates General Cleaning Duties, Floor Maintenance, Enhanced and Deep cleaning of patient area, clinics and offices. We have exciting vacancies within the Domestic Department at the Aintree Hospital and are currently recruiting 2 x
Thursday to Saturday night 9pm-6am - rapid response team,
Main duties of the job
- Cleaning wards and clinics and offices to high standards.
- Cleaning wards and clinics to high standards.
- Adhering to infection control policy's and procedures
- Cleaning experience essential for all posts
- Cleaning external areas across the trust
- A good understanding of written and verbal communication, you should be able to follow direction, and be able to work in the wider team and on you own. You will need to be physically fit to carry out duties including mopping, damp dusting, lifting and carrying
