We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. As anAcute Medicine Secretary you would provide administrative and secretarial support to consultants, doctors, nurses, and the wider Acute Medicine team within a hospital setting. The role helps ensure patient information, appointments, correspondence, and clinical records are managed efficiently to support high-quality patient care.
Main duties of the job
Providing secretarial support to Acute Medicine consultants and clinicians. Typing and processing clinic letters, discharge summaries, and medical reports. Managing diaries, meetings, and clinic schedules.Coordinating patient appointments and referrals. Handling telephone and email enquiries from patients, staff, and external organisations. Maintaining accurate patient records on hospital systems.Filing, scanning, and managing confidential documentation. Tracking investigations, results, and correspondence as directed. Supporting service audits, data collection, and reporting requirements. Liaising with GP surgeries, community services, and other hospital departments. A flexible approach to work is required and an ability to get on with others in a team based environment.

We are looking for a positive and adaptable person who holds their NVQ2 dispensary qualification (or is due to qualify in the next few months). You must be able to demonstrate relevant recent experience, and possess an adaptable and flexible mentality, as well as a desire to embed newly acquired knowledge and skills
To apply for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of dispensary requirements/legislation and be able to work well as part of a team but be equally comfortable to work on your own.
The role is suited to someone who is IT literate and who will be to work as part of the pharmacy and dispensary team across 2 sites, including the repeat prescribing and the clinical system, stock control, stock ordering and costs, problem solving, as well as dealing with our patients.
Main duties of the job
- Dispensing acute prescriptions.
- Dispensing repeat prescriptions requests received by telephone calls, electronically, face to face and those delivered to the surgery.
- Dispensing private prescriptions.
- MDS dispensing for community and care home patients
- Dealing with returned medicines from patients
- Dealing with uncollected medication
- Handing out prescriptions and collecting charges when appropriate.
- Cashing up prescription moneys, balancing and recording
- Taking prescription repeats over the telephone and at in person from patients.
- Collecting private charges for vaccines and holiday prophylactic medication.
- Sorting, stamping and endorsing prescriptions.
- Submitting all unsigned prescriptions to the doctors, generating nurse prescriptions
- Completing backs of prescriptions.

Work as an autonomous specialist practitioner within Royal Free London,delivering high-quality acute and chronic cardiology and heart failure care.

Main duties of the job
Our Heart Failure Specialist Nurse Team plays a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. We have established innovative services, including automated NT-proBNP referrals, a Heart Failure Virtual Ward and a comprehensive heart failure pathway, working closely with cardiology, community and palliative care colleagues.
In this role, you will provide care across inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting patients throughout their heart failure journey from diagnosis to advanced disease. Responsibilities include optimising heart failure therapies, providing lifestyle and self-management advice, supporting discharge planning, preparing cases for MDT discussions, and contributing to the National Heart Failure Audit (NICOR).

The current post holder is on secondment so we are looking for a Health Advisor with significant HIV experience to cover the role.
Approximately 4500 patients are registered for their care at the Harrison Wing making us one of the biggest and busiest HIV outpatient departments in the capital.
As well providing HIV and sexual health outpatient services we also care for inpatients, primarily on Hillyers Ward at St Thomas' Hospital.
This role would suit an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Health Advisor with excellent communication and leadership skills. Duties will include holding a caseload of vulnerable patients for psychosocial support, partner notification and active participation in the MDT.

An exciting opportunity has risen for a 6-month Viral Hepatitis Clinical Fellow to strengthen the clinical and academicViral Hepatitis service at Kings College Hospital (KCH) and its network partners. They will work within the Viral Hepatitis Operational Delivery Network (ODN) hosted by King's and support with elimination initiatives across the region. The post holder will have the opportunity to develop wide experience within the department, with sessions being dedicated to clinical work (which will include outpatient clinics) with someflexible sessions to develop relevant interests. The post could be tailored to specific interests within Hepatology /Hepatitis. gtd healthcare is one of the largest NHS commissioned Primary Care, Out of Hours & Urgent Care providers in the North West of England. We have fantastic opportunity for Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our City Health Centre Walk-in Service in Manchester City Centre.
Our City Health Centre Walk-in Service is situated above Boots on Market Street, which offers a great selection of cafes, restaurants and shops with excellent transport links. We operate 08:00 to 20:00, 7 days per week. Patients can access the service by walking in, via NHS 111 or by referral from other healthcare services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering safe, effective and responsive care, ensuring patients receive timely assessment, treatment and onward referral where appropriate.
The successful candidate will have experience working in primary and urgent care as an ACP, you will be expected to provide care via face to face, and telephone.
The post holder will hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or Credentialing qualification (or equivalent) and a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification. You will be able to work within the four pillars of practice.
Main duties of the job
- Undertake the holistic assessment and clinical examination of patients, of all ages, with both minor and complex needs will be established through history taking, physical examination and the appropriate use of investigations to confirm diagnosis.
- Plan, implement and evaluate an effective management plan for the patient, ensuring safe discharge/referral and/or transfer to an appropriate health care service.
- Provide information and advice on prescribed or over-the-counter medication regimens, including side-effects and interactions.
- The prioritisation of health problems and the appropriate intervening will be paramount in appropriately assisting the patient in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care.
- Refer and discharge safely ensuring that safety-netting advice is offered.
- Triage telephone referrals, calls from external clinicians, patients and others into a range of services appropriately as required.

Ward 40 is a busy 30-bedded respiratory ward caring for patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Housekeeper to join our friendly multidisciplinary team
As the Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our ward remains a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff. Working closely with the nursing, medical and domestic teams, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, infection prevention and patient experience, ensuring the ward runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
This is a varied and rewarding role that includes maintaining ward stock levels, ordering and replenishing supplies, serving meals and supporting patients at mealtimes where appropriate, ensuring bed spaces and communal areas are clean and well organised, and liaising with other departments to support the smooth running of the ward. You will also contribute to creating a positive environment where patients feel comfortable, respected and well cared for during their stay.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Dietetic Assistant to join our Adult Community Dietetic Team.
Applicants should have experience working within a UK health or social care setting supporting people with complex health needs. Main duties of the job
The Dietetic Assistant will support Dietitians in the assessment, monitoring and review of patients receiving dietetic intervention, helping patients, carers and professionals implement nutritional care plans effectively.
The role includes telephone reviews, face-to-face contacts and administrative duties for clinically stable patients. Responsibilities may include monitoring nutritional intake, weight and feeding tolerance; supporting the ordering of enteral feeds, feeding equipment and oral nutritional supplements; and maintaining accurate patient records.
The post holder will work across a range of settings including patients' homes, care homes, clinics and telephone consultations. They will liaise with healthcare professionals, carers and other agencies to support patient care and escalate concerns appropriately to the supervising Dietitian.
Training and ongoing support will be provided, including development in home enteral feeding, nutritional support, transition from Children's Services and supporting patients with neurological conditions such as MND.
This is a part-time position of 22.5 hours per week (0.6 WTE), worked within standard office hours.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us in our Children's Emergency Department at Watford General Hospital. We have a part time opportunity for 34.5 hours per week.
The Children's Emergency Department is a purpose-built environment for children and young people aged 0-15 years and has approximately 20,000 attendances a year across our Children's Emergency and urgent care pathways. It has a dedicated 2 bedded resuscitation area within the department and is part of the major trauma network. CED is co-located with the Paediatric Assessment unit which provides short stay care for children for 24 hours. There is also an urgent treatment centre on site.
We are a friendly dedicated team of Paediatric Nurses and Paediatric consultants. The department is committed to continuous improvements in the service and benefits from having a Paediatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner service. There is also support from the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse clinical Band 7s within the department.
