Job summary
The postholder will lead the local implementation of the People Portal, the new Workforce Solution, across Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, working in conjunction with the wider Derby & Derbyshire system.
The role combines professional project management with practical HR and workforce knowledge, digital implantation and organisational change experience.
The postholder will connect Workforce and OD, Digital, Payroll, Finance, operational services, the national programme and delivery partners to achieve safe, timely and sustainable implementation.
Please note this is a fixed term contract for 15 months.
Main duties of the job
o Lead the end-to-end local implementation and maintain the implementation strategy, roadmap, integrated plan, milestones and critical path.o Establish proportionate governance, decision routes, reporting cycles and documentation standards.o Coordinate interdependent workstreams and ensure owners understand deliverables, timescales, dependencies and acceptance criteria.o Maintain and actively manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions and change control.o Produce concise highlight reports, dashboards and exception reports for programme and executive governance.o Escalate threats to scope, quality, cost or timescale promptly, with clear options and recommendations.

HR and workforce transformation Work with workforce subject-matter experts to understand current processes, identify gaps and coordinate future-state process design. Ensure HR, payroll, recruitment, learning, absence, employee and manager processes are represented in implementation planning. Promote standardisation, simplification, appropriate controls and effective handover into business as usual. Digital, technical and service readiness Act as the principal link between Workforce and OD and Digital teams for implementation planning and delivery. Coordinate technical readiness, environments, access, identity, interfaces, integrations, infrastructure and service support requirements. Ensure technical decisions, constraints and dependencies are recorded, owned and reflected in the integrated plan. Coordinate operational readiness, cutover, go-live support, incident escalation and transition to support arrangements. Ensure delivery aligns with Trust digital governance, cyber security, information governance and clinical safety requirements where applicable.
Leadership and continuous improvement Provide visible, inclusive and credible leadership across the programme, creating clarity and shared accountability. Line manages or matrix-manages project staff and workstream contributors where assigned. Build project capability through coaching, constructive challenge and consistent use of delivery standards. Identify lessons, share good practice and embed continuous improvement throughout implementation. Deputise for the programme lead or represent the programme at internal and external forums when required.

Job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist on a substantive basis as part of our comprehensive CAMHS Service in North Derbyshire, based across our two sites at Chesterfield and Buxton or solely in Buxton (depending on successful candidate's preference).
The successful Candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a flexible approach. You will be a team player who enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary setting with highly experienced and skilled staff while being capable of providing clinical leadership for the team.
We offer £10,000 in addition to basic salary on commencement, with a further £10,000 after 2 years in post. An additional SPA beyond the usual allocation of 1.5 PAs will also be allocated to enable our appointee to undertake defined Care Unit support. Benefits will be pro rata for part time.
The CAMHS service is part of the Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust which also benefits from co-location of comprehensive paediatric services, (paediatricians, paediatric ward, community therapists and nurses) and the disabled children's social care team. The CAMHS team enjoy highly positive relationships with paediatrics.

Main duties of the job
- Deliver a high-quality cleaning service across wards, departments, and communal areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.

- Work in line with daily schedules as directed by the Domestic Services Supervisor or Line Manager.
- Safely operate mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment following appropriate training and ensure equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.

Patient Caterer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Patient Services team as a Patient Services Assistant (PSA). Catering duties will be to provide a high standard of food and drink service to ward areas within Chesterfield Royal Hospital and Derwent Unit. Other duties include ensuring all kitchen areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required specified standards in line with Trust policy and ensuring patient's meals are served efficiently to assure food quality and to meet the required specification, in line with Trust policy.
The hours of work are: -15:00hrs - 19:00hrs (16 hours per week)
The rota will be based on a 16 hour a week contract working on a 10-week rota basis which will include someweekends and bank holidays or working Monday to Friday which will include bank holidays.

Catering Duties
Provide a professional and high-quality food and drink service to patients on wards.
Ensure meals are served efficiently and accurately to maintain food quality and meet required specifications.

DSFS are looking to recruit a highly experienced Catering Team Member to join our team on a part time basis of 31 hrs per week, working within Cafe @ the Royal, located within the main entrance at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. Job summary
DSFS are looking to appoint a Switchboard Control Operator to join our team based at the Chesterfield Royal Hospital. As the post is often the first point of contact with the general public you must be aware of the importance of delivering a high quality, efficient service and to be able to demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills.
The hours can vary as this post is a 21 hours contract (we provide 24 hour cover.) You will be required to cover for holidays ,sickness and other leave, sometimes at short notice, therefore flexibility is an essential requirement of the post as we provide this important service over 7 days a week 365 days a year.
Hours covered between 7.00am- 7.00am variable shifts available. This post will include a 9 hour night shift.

Main duties of the job
Unlike other Switchboard posts, this role also provides an essential response service for emergency calls, fire alarms and unplanned occurrences and therefore we are looking to recruit a person who is able to work in a calm and competent manner in a sometimes stressful and seemingly chaotic environment whilst continuing to provide a consistent Switchboard service.
You must be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) and be comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team.
A comprehensive training period (with weekly assessments) covering all aspects of the post and shift patterns will be undertaken to ensure full capability of the Switchboard and Trust Policy and Procedure before the successful candidate will be allowed to work alone out of hours .

You will offer screening for neurodevelopmental issues and make appropriate internal referrals in order to best support the young people we work with. The service offers a wide range of structured interventions such as CBT, systemic family therapy, DBT, IPT, and Positive Behaviour Support, and there are regular opportunities to develop your own skills further by completing training both internally and externally.

We are looking to appoint a Speciality Doctor in Urology to join our friendly surgical team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. You will work under the supervision of the consultants to deliver a high-quality service to patients with general urological conditions, as well as providing support to junior colleagues and nursing staff as required.
You will participate in a rota comprising Specialty Doctor colleagues and a Higher Specialist Trainee. Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, resourceful and self-motivated Patient Advice and Liaison (PALS) Officer to join our Patient Experience and Complaints Team in a temporary role for a maximum of 6 months. This is a full time role, although job share will be considered for the right candidates.
Working as part of the Quality Governance Team, you will be responsible for ensuring an impartial, personal and effective PALS service is provided to patients, service users, relatives, carers, and Trust staff.
Main duties of the job
The PALS team provides an accessible and responsive service offering support and signposting for patients, relatives and members of the public who wish to raise queries or concerns about their care.
In this challenging post, you will work with patients, relatives and staff to ensure that complaints are resolved and improvement is embedded.
You will be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) in English Language & Maths with excellent communication, customer care, IT and organisational skills alongside outstanding interpersonal skills, a good telephone manner and the ability to work as part of a large multidisciplinary team.
You will have a good understanding of the NHS and experience of working with the public, including resolving issues and problems. Experience of working with complaints management systems is desirable.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Stroke and Neurology team. The post holder will work in a dedicated OT team alongside a supportive MDT, to deliver occupational therapy as part of a 7 day service. The role provides an opportunity to work across the stroke pathway; as the OT team covers hyper acute, acute and rehabilitation on the stroke unit.
The team is committed to delivering high standards of care across the whole patient pathway.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking applications from individuals with a passion for providing rehabilitation for people with neurological conditions. You will need to demonstrate time management skills and the ability to be flexible, to be able to manage a mixed acute and rehab caseload in a busy setting. Excellent communication skills will be key, as you will be working with patients and their families in stressful and complex situations. The successful candidate will also demonstrate good interpersonal skills and be committed to team working both within OT and the wider MDT.
Applicants will be supported to develop problem solving and specialist clinical skills essential for meeting the demands of this setting. Regular supervision will be provided and a staff appraisal system is in operation. department.
Please note, Stroke services across Derbyshire are undergoing a review and there will be some changes in service delivery in the future.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our friendly and forward-thinking team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a pharmacist who is highly motivated, innovative and dynamic to lead the pharmacy clinical services within Respiratory medicine.
Pharmacological management of respiratory diseases is a continually evolving field and this is the perfect opportunity for the post holder to develop and gain experience within an established advanced practice role, supported by the respiratory MDT to improve medicines safety within this specialty.
Main duties of the job
You will undertake a lead pharmacist role working closely with the respiratory multidisciplinary team. You will provide the pharmacy clinical service to the respiratory ward but also develop your own portfolio of advanced practice.
Working within the multidisciplinary team you will provide pharmacist led asthma and ILD clinics, where you will initiate treatments with associated counselling review of relevant laboratory monitoring, and fulfil the relevant commissioning criteria through the blueteq system. You will support the provision of respiratory biologic medicines via homecare services and beresponsible for repeat prescribing of these medicines.
You will lead respiratory biosimilar switches by supporting the clinical teams and through direct patient contact
You will provide clinical supervision and mentoring to pharmacists, nurses and medical staff within the team and proactively contribute to the wider medicines safety agenda

Respiratory Specialist Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Physician in Acute Medicine to join our dynamic and evolving team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This role aims to expand our establishment of Acute Physicians to twelve.
Within the department our consultants have a range of CCTs, skills and specialist interests including acute medicine, respiratory, renal, geriatrics, emergency medicine, USS/ECHO, endoscopy and education. As such the specific responsibilities of this position can be tailored in consultation with the care unit team to align with personal interests and professional goals, and we would consider applicants with a range of specialist interests or CCTs.
The appointed individual will be a key member of the Medicine and Emergency Care Division, reporting to the Divisional Director. Main duties of the job

Patient Caterer
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Patient Services Department which is within the facilities division.
Catering duties will be to provide a high standard of food and drink service to ward areas within Chesterfield Royal Hospital and Derwent Unit. Other duties include ensuring all kitchen areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required specified standards in line with Trust policy and ensuring patient's meals are served efficiently to assure food quality and to meet the required specification, in line with Trust policy.
