Job summary
As an experienced Lead Practice Nurse at Churchside you will play a crucial role in providing high quality care to our patients. You must be friendly, patient focussed, calm and organised, as well as someone who communicates well with people at all levels. We are seeking someone who provides compassionate care and has attention to detail. Ideally you will have experience working with SystmOne, but full training can be provided.
The role requires you to work 31.5 hours per week. Wednesday will be a later finish as we provide Enhanced Access opening hours for patients, and start time each day will be 7.30am.
We are seeking applicants who have experience working as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting as we do not have the capacity at this time to train someone.
Main duties of the job
Your clinical capabilities should demonstrate that you are someone who can confidently deal with the following patient needs;
1) Monitor Patient Vital Signs and record medical information accurately
2) Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
3) Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate care
4) Cytology
5) Baby Immunisations
6) Administer vaccines and medications as needed
7) Chronic Disease Management (Diabetes, COPD, Asthma)
8) Educate Patients on health management and lifestyle choices
9) HRT Reviews
10) Wound care and supporting the HCA's with these
11) Phlebotomy
12) Dealing with Samples
13) Infection Control Lead
14) Ordering of clinical stock items
15) Fridge and Stock Rotations
As we are ideally looking for a Lead, previous experience in this capacity would be advantageous.

Job summary
Churchside Medical Practice are part of Rosewood PCN, and we are looking to recruit an ARRS GP to join the team working 4 sessions per week. This is an initial 6-month contract with a view to it becoming more long term.
You will be based at Churchside Medical Practice, and will be required to treat patients across the PCN which are 5 practices with over 50,000 patients.
We are looking for someone who can start January 2027.
Main duties of the job
You will be assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions as well as prescribing medication in accordance with national and local guidelines. Managing and reviewing patient treatment plans and referring patients for care.
