We are looking for a Service Manager to provide operational leadership to the Patient Services Hub departments, ensuring the day to day running of all departments and achievement of performance, quality, and financial objectives and would ideally have CBU experience and extensive knowledge of patient pathways
Main duties of the job
The Service Manager will be managerially accountable to the Deputy General Manager.
The Service Manager will provide operational leadership to the Patient Service Hub patient-facing departments, ensuring the day-to-day running of all departments and achievement of performance, quality, and financial objectives.
The Service Manager will lead on operational recovery, performance management, and continuous improvement, supporting the Deputy General Manager in delivering the Patient Service Hub's strategic and operational objectives.
The Service Manager will analyse performance data and activity, implement improvement actions, and escalate risks and issues to the Deputy General Manager as appropriate.
In undertaking the duties for this post, the post holder must comply with the Department of Health's code of conduct for NHS Managers (October 2002).
The post holder will ensure compliant application of the Elective Access Policy (EAP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and information governance (IG) in all operational processes.

We have a newly created Inventory Management System Team which reside under Deputy Head of Supply Chain and works alongside the Supply Chain Team. Main duties of the job
We are searching for a hard working individual who is looking for an exciting new challenge and wants to be part of the new Inventory Management System implementation at ULTH.
You will support the Deputy Head of Supply Chain and the IMS Senior Business Change Manager set the strategies for deploying inventory management systems in a variety of stock control areas, working closely with the Head of Supply Chain, Materials Management Site Managers and fellow clinical, non-clinical and operational procurement teams. The scope of operational work managed by this team is significant - encompassing the full roll out and maintenance of an inventory management system across ULTH. The department already maintains the highest standards of stock management across all areas of the hospital from Theatres to A&E and beyond but is looking to revolutionise current methodologies to transform the control and flow of consumables entering and leaving the hospitals. This newly created team will lead the support for internal stakeholders by managing the inventory system, the e-catalogue and enacting meaningful operational and strategic change by generating ideas for savings and service improvement for patients, whilst ensuring we meet the Trust values and standards.

Job summary
We require a fully qualified Plumber. You should be qualified to City and Guilds Advanced standard or equivalent NVQ level 3 and have served a recognised apprenticeship or undergone modern training to an equivalent standard.

Job summary
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Band 5 Theatre Scrub Nurse/Practitioner to join our Theatre team and play a vital role in providing safe and effective care to patients undergoing surgical procedures at Homerton.
This is an exciting time at Homerton, we have just opened our two new Day Surgery Theatres and have recently gotten a second Da Vinci Robot for theatres.The role will cover both Main and Day Surgery Theatre suites.
We are looking for applicants who are committed and motivated to provide excellent care to the patients of City and Hackney and join part of the Multidisciplinary Team.

Main duties of the job
- To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients by assessing care needs and developing, implementing and evaluating them without supervision.
- The role demands the flexibility of being able to work across all specialities carried out within the department.
- To be responsible for preparing the operating theatre.
- The post holder will be required to provide assistance to the surgeons during all surgical procedures whether under local or general anaesthetics
- The post holder will be required to work autonomously in the theatre areas of the Trust, providing knowledge and skills for surgery in the pre-operative setting.
- The post holder is responsible for planning, implementing and assessing care of patients.
- The post holder will ensure that standards are met as per national and local guidelines, including National Frameworks.
- The post holder will participate to all the operating theatres in the Trust and expected to take part in on call, nights on and weekend duties.
