Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team within Worcester City PCN. The role will give you a unique chance to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, whilst also building links with a range of other local services and be part of a county wide Work and Health coach network. We will particularly welcome applicants with lived experience and those with strong connections to Worcester City.
Main duties of the job
The Work and Health Employment Coach supports individuals with physical, mental health, or social barriers to enter, remain in, or return to employment. Working as part of a multidisciplinary Primary Care Network team, the post holder manages a caseload of participants, conducts assessments to identify barriers to work, and develops personalised action plans to help individuals achieve their employment goals.
The role involves providing one-to-one coaching, health and employment guidance, coordinating referrals to specialist services, and working closely with healthcare professionals, employers, Jobcentre Plus, and community organisations.
The Employment Coach is also responsible for maintaining accurate records, monitoring participant progress, delivering group support sessions where appropriate, and ensuring individuals receive timely, holistic support to improve their health, wellbeing, and employment outcomes.
About us
Worcester City Primary Care Network first became established in 2019 and consists of nine local practices working together to provide the best possible care to their patients. The PCN covers a population of approximately 131,000 patients across the city. We are committed to the development and delivery of coordinated healthcare, working with partner organisations to support patients in making informed decisions about their personal care promoting health and wellbeing and ensuring equality of access for all. We employ over sixty additional roles staff to support our general practice colleagues to deliver the right care to our patients.
It means providing innovative services that are designed around the needs of our community. We continue to work closely with our ICB and other local health and social care providers to drive our PCN towards an integrated neighbourhood team.
Worcester City PCN staff are employed by Vertis Health who are a GP federation in Worcestershire with bold ambitions. Alongside supporting our Primary Care Networks, we operate a range of services that help to keep NHS spending within the NHS - and generate revenue that can be reinvested back into Primary Care.
Over the last 10 years, we have been trusted by over 600,000 patients in Worcestershire to deliver great care across a range of NHS commissioned projects - while helping GP practices and PCNs streamline their workloads and, crucially, be able to dedicate more of their valuable time to patient care.

Job Purpose:
The Work and Health Employment Coach plays a key role within the WorkWell programme, supporting individuals with health-related barriers to gain, retain, or return to employment. Job summary
The Mental Health Specialist Practitioner will provide specialist enhanced clinical assessment and support specifically to patients who have called the London Ambulance Service for Mental Health issues, or suspected Mental Health issues.
The post-holder will follow a rolling rota that will see them complete shifts within our Emergency Operations Center undertaking telephone assessments on patients experiencing a mental health crisis and providing over the phone support to ambulance crews across the city with regards to mental health queries.
You will also have opportunity to work alongside a paramedic on our Mental Health Joint Response Car.
Working as an autonomous practitioner the post holder is expected to provide advanced assessment, clinical decisions and co-ordinated complex and challenging situations in regards to the management and treatment of this patient group. The Mental Health Specialist Practitioner will conduct telephone assessments and provide remote advice to crews on-scene with mental health patients as well as be deployed to as both a primary and an additional resource to mental health patients as well.

The Supplies team currently have a vacancy for a Supplies Inventory assistants based in Letchworth. The job involves a mixture of driving, warehouse work as well as administrative duties.

The postholder must be able to drive a Luton type delivery vehicle as work will often require courier deliveries across East of England and will involve manual handling, computer work and warehouse duties.

Main duties of the job
You will provide specialist clinical/counselling psychology services to CYP with complex needs, including those experiencing psychological distress related to health difficulties/neurodivergence. Your role involves conducting comprehensive assessments using a variety of tools and techniques, formulating and delivering highly specialised interventions to individuals, families, and groups, and evaluating treatment plans based on theoretical models and individual developmental history.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop and refine skills in short-term interventions and caseload management. You will work in a fast-paced clinical setting, managing around 15 clinical contacts per week. This role is ideal for someone seeking rich, diverse clinical experience within a structured and supportive framework.

Job summary
The Crisis resolution Intensive Support Service is a dynamic and flexible service which offers an alternative to inpatient admission over 24 hours meeting the acute needs of working age adults across the city. We are currently looking to recruit two full time band 5 practitioners and would be especially interested in applications from Occupational Therapists and Social Workers to enhance our offer of holistic and multi-disciplinary care of those in a mental health crisis in the community.
You will have a permanent base in the East of Leeds, at St Mary's House but will be expected to work across the city dependent on clinical need. The successful clinician will work with a range of service users as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing assessment and interventions to support recovery and inclusion. This will include the provision of highly skilled assessments, psychological interventions, safety planning, and contributing to formulations.
Please note there is an occupational requirement for the post holder to have experience & therefore we cannot consider newly qualified, or those requiring a preceptorship for this position.
Main duties of the job
Band 5 practitioners work with a shared caseload of service users within a multi-disciplinary team, providing same day/urgent assessment, care planning and care delivery. This will include the provision of highly skilled nursing/AHP care, psychological interventions, clinical assessment and risk assessments/management whilst promoting recovery and inclusion. The band 5 practitioner will operate within a community setting and will require to lone work, however can utilise the team to manage risks where support is needed. You will also work closely with inpatient and community services, providing an excellent alternative to inpatient admission and supporting in transitions points for services users to community services.
In this role you will be under the supervision of Band 6 and Band 7 practitioners and can gain support from the wider team also. You will have regular clinical and management supervision. You will be supported in your professional development to reach your potential in this exciting role.

Job summary
The Crisis Resolution Intensive Support Service (CRISS) is a dynamic and flexible service which offers crisis assessments and home-based treatment over a 24hr period, 365 days a year for working age adults across the city. The service went through a change in 2024 to bring together crisis assessment and home based treatment in locality bases across the city in line with core fidelity standards.
We're therefore looking for a skilled senior practitioner who can help shape the service going forward . The position can be offered as a 12 month contract, or as a secondment for internal applicants.
The successful applicant will work across the service undertaking shift coordinator responsibilities, crisis assessments and home-based treatment interventions. You will operate within a community setting and will be required to work within an MDT which aims to reduce admissions to hospital and facilitate early discharge through home-based treatment interventions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join Ward 6B based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage. This 25-bedded ward offers care and treatment to both male and female patients who are acutely unwell with renal disease and associated medical issues. We also care for patient undergoing renal surgeries such as arterial venous fistula formations, grafts, renal biopsies and Peritoneal Dialysis catheter insertions.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will be responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care. Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and undertake delegated tasks from the ward sister/charge nurse. The postholder will always work within the NMC's Code of Professional Conduct.
As a registered nurse you will participate as a member of the nursing team to provide a high standard of research based care, support the team of staff working in the area to deliver a quality service which is linked to high standard of patient care and support the Sisters / Charge Nurses and Senior Sister / Charge Nurse in the training and development of junior staff.

The Consultant staff of the Histopathology Department are organised into subspecialist reporting teams. SYB Histopathology delivers laboratory and reporting activity within the SYB Pathology Service network, and beyond, and increases in such activity are anticipated as well as closer operational collaboration between the different SYB sites. Reporting work is distributed across the relevant subspecialist teams and treated uniformly regardless of the source.

We are looking to appoint a WTE Locum Consultant Histopathologist - Paediatric & Perinatal Pathology. Based at the Sheffield Children's Hospital.
SYB Histopathology is transitioning to primary Digital reporting and applications from digitally trained pathologists are welcome. We would welcome applications from candidates across the full spectrum of experience, from those who have recently completed training to those who have well-established careers.

Main duties of the job
The appointee will, together with consultant colleagues, be responsible for the provision of paediatric/perinatal autopsy service, including, by agreement, paediatric medico-legal autopsies on behalf of HM Coroner, and paediatric surgical pathology.
The appointee will fully contribute to the paediatric and perinatal autopsy rota. The post holder will be expected to attend and contribute to appropriate Clinical-pathological meetings and case discussions, and to liaise with clinical colleagues to ensure a high quality diagnostic service. regardless of the source.

Main duties of the job
The post holder must have a relevant degree or extensive experience of software testing in a highly complex technical environment. The post holder should hold the ISEB intermediate certificate in software testing and be able to demonstrate and maintain a sound knowledge of relevant NHS clinical and business processes.
Demonstrate and maintain knowledge and expertise of test methodologies and relevant industry standards.
Develop test plans and procedures to ensure that systems are stable, maintainable, meet usability criteria, provide accurate information and meet the required specification.
Demonstrate and maintain knowledge and expertise in test tools e.g. Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, DevOps Server, etc.Demonstrate and maintain knowledge of differing systems life cycles e.g. Agile, RUP.

CHoICE Facilities Services are seeking a passionate, hardworking and reliable individual to join our team and fulfil the role of Catering Assistant (Ward Host). As a Ward Host you would be responsible for assisting clinical staff in the efficient and effective production & service of a high quality of meals & beverages on several wards, for patients, staff and visitors, including associated cleaning and hygiene related duties. Main duties of the job
General duties of a Catering Assistant (Ward Host) role include;
Distribution, delivery and service of food and beverages to wards and departments.
To follow food & beverage handling procedures, in accordance with national and local regulations.
Undertake stock management, receipt and delivery of stock, reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods to Supervisors. Record food temperatures and food waste before and after service
Maintain the appropriate knowledge and skills to safely and effectively perform all food & beverage tasks.
Maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic appearance. Ensuring that the appropriate protective clothing is worn at all times.
Ensuring all equipment, working areas, including storerooms, refrigerators and freezers are kept in a clean and hygienic condition and that good hygienic practices are established and maintained at all times.
Carry out any other duties which are deemed reasonable and in line with the banding of the post.
Providing a food and beverage service including catering for special events to patient, staff and visitors.
Preparing, assembling and packing meals for patients and staff.
Collection, segregation and disposal of waste materials, in accordance with policies.
Shift pattern consists of;
16 hours per week 4.00pm -8.00pm Monday -Thursday
Or
12 hours per week 4.00pm -8.00pm Friday- Sunday

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will need to have significant proven experience working within a busy team, demonstrate a flexible approach, and have the ability to stay calm and always work professionally.
As a highly organised individual you will need the ability to prioritise and organise work so that tasks are completed in a timely manner following agreed processes and always have the best interest of the patient at the centre of everything you do. You also need to be willing to work with senior management to improve and support the implementation of change when needed.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to employ a trainee Mental Health Practitioner within the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team. This role will focus on the delivery of population-based mental health care for the community of Worcester City. You will be working alongside a team of highly specialist practitioners and have direct relationships with the professionals within the local Primary Care Networks (PCN). If you are seeking a role that will encompass new ways of working that will be the future delivery of community mental health care in England, then this is an opportunity you should not miss. If you are a newly qualified RMN, OT or Social Worker, the Trainee MHP post offers a developmental package allowing you to work towards a Band 6 position in the team with guidance and support from experienced staff members and gives you the opportunity to spend time in other clinical areas to develop your knowledge and understanding of the service.

Main duties of the job
Will work as a key member and resource of the MDT core team.
This post will offer a challenging and exciting opportunity to gain experience of working across the Mental Health Service in Wyre Forest, developing relationships with Primary Care, partner agencies and wider mental health services.
You will have the opportunity to design and deliver evidence-based recovery focused mental health interventions and groups. Knowledge of delivery psychoeducation within a group environment and 1:1 would be an advantage.
You will have experience of working with this user group in community settings. You will have a registered qualification in mental health nursing, occupational therapy or social work.
The ability to work flexibly as the need of the service demands is essential.
Attend weekly MDT meetings, participate in professionals' meetings, signpost to adjunct services depending on patient need.
Support and guidance to the carers of patients accessing the services.
Be supported in taking part in the duty system and act appropriately when dealing with patients who are experiencing difficulties in the absence of their allocated worker.
Receive clinical and managerial supervision regularly.
A developmental plan will be available for this post. If you meet these requirements you will be offered a Band 6 post within the team.
