Band 6 Senior Audiologist/Clinical Scientist (adults) Newham Audiology Bart's Health
37.5 hours per week
We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our audiological team in Newham
This is an Adult post in audiology services across East London but predominately at our well-equipped and dedicated health centre at Vicarage Lane health centre and at Newham General Hospital.
The department provides a comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitation service for both adults and children working in the community and hospital sites.
Audiology is managed by Bart's Health and provides services across five east London boroughs namely Tower Hamlets, City & Hackney, Newham, Waltham Forest and Redbridge.
We have 90 plus members of staff including Clinical Scientists, Audiologists, Assistant Audiologists, Audiology apprentices and admin staff.
The successful candidate will be confident, a good communicator, and able to work well within a large team they should be able to undertake audiological diagnostic and rehabilitation services for patients.
You will have a Bsc/Msc in Audiology or equivalent.
You must be registered with either RCCP or HCPC (as a Clinical Scientist).

Main duties of the job
To provide independent diagnostic audiological testing of adults to be responsible for the safe use and calibration of equipment and ensuring accurate records are maintained. To provide a comprehensive independent hearing aid service to adults including determining care plans for individual patients and involving carers and families as appropriate in the acute, community and during domiciliary visits. To take an active role in areas of clinical audit, research and clinical governance for the Audiology service, which may include designing and completing audits within own field, participating in data collection for larger projects, and contributing to the development of evidence-based protocols. To plan and prioritise elements of own workload, within the framework of service delivery priorities as defined by the line manager and supervise the work of trainees/students and volunteers as required. To be responsible for the smooth running of a specified area of the audiology service, to be determined. To provide a domiciliary service across the London Borough of Newham

Here at St. Albans City Hospital (SACH) Theatres we are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dynamic band 6 Scrub Practitioner to join our friendly, professional multi-disciplinary team. The Specialist Support Team Greater Manchetser have been commissioned to work with key stakeholders and partner agencies to enhance community provision for people who are autistic or who have a learning disability.
We are looking for two Band 3 Community Support Workers to complement the existing team. Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
The purpose of this post is to provide an efficient and comprehensive administrative service within the Community Resource Team (CRT). Acts as the first point of contact for telephone communication for the CRT.
The post holder will work within the Conwy CRT (Abergele, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Llandudno Junction & Llanwrst) alongside District Nurses, Therapy Services, Local Authority colleagues and Voluntary Sector to provide a seamless administrative service to the Multidisciplinary Teams.
The Clerical Officer is required to work accurately and independently, within guidelines after training. Using their own initiative and judgement, rather than supervised, deciding when necessary to consult their manager. All duties must be carried out in accordance with Departmental and Health Board Policy.

An exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist has arisen within the Community Transformation Therapies - Group Work Team; employed by Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As part of supporting service user recovery an innovative groupwork programme is being provided.
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to become part of the group work team. Successful applicants will co-facilitate a range of psychoeducational, skills based & therapeutic groups with adults experiencing emotional distress across Leeds. Previous experience of group work, a good working knowledge of group process and or training in a structured group model are all highly desirable but not essential as training will be given. This role is full time and currently the post holder will split their time between the group work team and the Journey Programme hosted within EMERGE Leeds.
This post will be based flexibly across several community venues with the option to work from home for a portion of the week.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to join our Adult Acute Mental Health Inpatient team on Rydon Ward 1 at the Wellsprings Hospital site in Taunton.

The service mainly supports people living in the Taunton area and also accepts admissions for serving members of the military.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Highly Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Nurse Prescriber and Practitioner to join the Neurodevelopmental Team at City and Hackney Specialist CAMHS. The clinician will join a large, experienced multi-disciplinary team of clinicians who provide a range of diagnostic and mental health services to children young people and their families with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide comprehensive specialist assessments, including risk assessment of young people and their families/carers referred with mild learning disability and/or ASD and/or ADHD. They will provide evidence-based behaviour management interventions as part of an integrated care package to children, young people and their families/carers. The post holder will safely prescribe and monitor medications within local and national guidelines, in liaison with a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. This includes conveying to parents, carers and young people, the implications of a prescribed medication, the side effects and what they have to watch for in a sensitive, meaningful way. You will be expected to demonstrate a working knowledge of the prescription of medication effects, side effects and contra-indications in accordance with the independent and supplementary prescribers' training and current legislation. They will be aware of key trends in the evidence base for prescribing and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medicines commonly prescribed. We will provide an interesting and supportive work environment, with good training and supervision, and regular opportunities to share practice with other ELFT psychotherapy colleagues.

We Are Survivors are currently looking for individuals that have the passion, drive and determination to help us deliver our OUT Spoken Talking Therapy Services in our Lancashire prison estate.
We Are Survivors provide survivor-focused therapeutic and advocacy support to male (including Trans and Non-binary) victims/survivors, and their loved ones, of sexual harms. You will be part of a large clinical team, on numerous sites, providing support to a variety of staff groups including Consultants, Nurses and Sonographers within the General Ultrasound Department. Duties involve assisting with patient care before, during and after imaging examinations, coordinating the movement of inpatients with porters, cleaning of scan rooms and stock control.
It is essential the successful candidate enjoys working with people and has a genuine interest in patient care. You must have excellent communication skills, work well as part of a team, but also have the ability to use your initiative and work individually.

We are seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to join our established Dermatology service in a combined Adult and Paediatric Dermatology role.
