Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join a rapidly changing and expanding Scan4Safety team at our forward thinking NHS Trust. This is a progressive role within a dynamic Scan4Safety team. Successful candidates will be appointed at Band 3 with a clear pathway to Band 4 upon meeting defined performance and development criteria.
We are a leading integrated health, teaching, research and innovation campus in the thriving city region of Manchester. We offer a unique range of services to the North West, treating and managing the simplest to the most complex conditions and diseases. This is a multi site service with locations at Trafford, Oxford Road, Wythenshawe & North Manchester.
We are looking for an individual who is keen to learn about Scan 4 Safety and Procurement in the healthcare sector; someone who is able to methodically deal with information and data and translate that into fantastic customer service. You will need to be strong willed, numerate and a great communicator with a close eye for detail.

Main duties of the job
To implement and maintain service standards across key departments and wards, undertaking the day to day ordering activity on behalf of the customer, in line with agreed protocols.
To be responsible for ensuring that customer's requirements are always met in the most cost effective way possible, ensuring continuity of supplies.
Carrying out quarterly reviews with appropriate ward/departmental leads, using system information to illustrate spending patterns, identify and agree all products and stock levels with the customer, monitor usage and activity patterns and place timely and accurate orders to maintain agreed levels.
Regular customer contact to ensure stock levels and the range of products held are regularly reviewed, reflect activity and are updated in agreement with the customer.
Assist in value for money studies to contribute to savings set targets and regularly reports spend/saving activity.
Receive, check and put away all deliveries. Ensuring that items are rotated, stored in the correct location and the store areas are left tidy.
Process and monitor discrepancies ensuring that returns and credits are processed appropriately.

What is a DBS Check?

Who Needs a DBS Check

The Costs for a DBS
At Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), roles that require a DBS check are subject to a cost recovery policy. This means that the cost of submitting and processing a DBS application if you are successful and join us, will be deducted from your salary within the first three months of employment. If, however, you withdraw from a conditional offer after the DBS process has begun, you will still be liable for the cost incurred.

Seren Lodge Mother and Baby Unit, an exciting collaboration between NHS England and NHS Wales, opened in December 2025 on the grounds of the Countess of Chester Health Park.
Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Band 4 Nursery Nurse to join the Mother and Baby Unit team.
The Mother and Baby Unit is a specialist provision for women with mental health problems during pregnancy and/or in the tear after their baby is born. Patients in the postnatal period will have their babies with them during their time as an inpatient on the Mother and Baby Unit. Seren Lodge will be an 8 bedded unit with 6 beds commissioned by NHS England for the women of Cheshire and Merseyside and 2 beds commissioned by NHS Wales for the women of North Wales. The Mother and Baby Unit will also accept referrals for out of area women when there are beds available.
This post is part time 23 hours per week
Main duties of the job
We are hoping to build a supportive and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team, working on a rotational shift basis which includes day and night shifts. The posts offer the successful applicants the exciting opportunity to build a team that provides the highest quality of care for our service users. We will offer an excellent training programme and preceptorship programme.
The applicants must be able to demonstrate an understanding and application of the 6 C's in practice, these being Care; Compassion; Competence; Communication; Courage and Commitment.
Seren Lodge is based on the Countess of Chester Health Park Site approximately 1.5 miles from Chester city centre.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of the Pain Management Programme and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. The role also includes running nurse-led treatment clinics, responding to patient queries by telephone and helping to ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the wider Chronic Pain Service.
This is a varied and rewarding position where you can make a real difference to patient experience and care.

To provide a comprehensive administrative service and support the operational activity across Paediatrics.
o Provide a complete medical administrative service which may include, patient correspondence, copy and audio typing, editing and formatting letters, information resources, referral to treatment (RTT) data entry and any other appropriate documents as required.
o To provide a first point of contact, including answering all telephone enquiries from internal and external callers, taking and relaying messages in a polite and helpful manner, and using own judgement to establish the priority of issues and taking action as appropriate. Disseminate key information in line with Information Governance and other relevant Trust policies.
o To assist in the treatment for patients, for example updating relevant databases and computer systems as needed and to ensure referrals to other healthcare professionals or external organisations are actioned promptly.
o To arrange and (where necessary) cancel/reschedule appointments, book follow-up appointments and manage the waiting list appropriately.
o To scan and upload clinical information as directed to ensure patients' electronic medical records are kept as up to date as possible. To retrieve results from in-house systems as required by the clinicians.
o Provide cross cover within the administrative team as required.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for expressions of interest for an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our MHSOP Redcar and Cleveland based at Reed Marsh House. This would be for a 6-month fixed term/secondment opportunity. You will be responsible for the provision of the patient meal service, carried out by undertaking approved processes and procedures, to ensure the quality and temperature of meals at service are safe and appropriate and within the guidelines of Food Hygiene Legislation.

This is for a secondment post until May 2027.
Ward 5B is a 30 bedded emergency orthopaedic ward, compromising of 4 bedded bays and side rooms. We predominately look after patients with fractured neck of femurs as well as other orthopaedic issues such as rib fractures and spinal fractures. As a department we focus on autonomous and nurse led/ patient focused care.
As a registered nurse, you will work closely with your nursing colleagues as well as the wider multidisciplinary team, consisting of doctors, physios, OT and the discharge team. to facilitate the speedy and safe discharges of our patients.
This role will include long days, short days, nights, weekends and bank holidays as per rota.

The successful candidate will ensure that prescriptions are screened clinically to promote the rational use of drug therapy and evaluation of the appropriateness of the regimen selected.

Job summary
We are actively seeking three locum consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeons. The department would expect appropriate fellowship training or previous experience in the areas of major trauma, orthopaedic trauma and elective orthopaedic surgery.
You will join a dynamic team at the Peninsula Trauma Centre which is part of an expanding university teaching hospital in Britain's Ocean City. This is an opportunity to live and work in one of the most attractive parts of England. There is easy access to both coasts of Devon and Cornwall with beautiful beaches and we are in close proximity to Dartmoor National Park, the Tamar Valley and South Hams. Good transport links exist to London and the rest of the country with an international airport situated close by in Exeter that serves most of Europe. There are excellent local schools.

These posts are an additional appointment and the successful candidate would contribute to the major trauma and orthopaedic trauma services.
The successful candidate will be employed by University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust (UHPT) which is closely associated with Plymouth University Peninsula School of Medicine and Dentistry (PUPMED). The Musculoskeletal Service Line
The Service Line has responsibility for all aspects of Orthopaedics, Trauma and Orthogeriatrics services. The Directorate Clinical Director and Directorate Manger have responsibility for the department and are supported by a Matron.
Derriford Hospital has a regional Emergency Department and provides tertiary services including Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery and Plastic Surgery in addition to its' status as the Major Trauma Centre for the South West Peninsula.
Scope of the service
The Orthopaedic Department provides emergency and elective inpatient, day case and outpatient services to the catchment population of the Trust, which includes Plymouth and the surrounding area (South Hams and East Cornwall). Most outpatient services are delivered from Derriford Hospital, with outreach clinics being held in community hospitals. Elective operating is delivered at Derriford Hospital. Job summary
Working in a small team of Clinical Health Care Support workers and under the supervision of the Preadmission nurses, you will be joining as a vital part of the wider Multidisciplinary Cardiology Team.
Managing the day to day coordination of the Cardiology Outpatient clinics-these include Nurse Practitioner/Consultant/Clinical Fellow and associates. You will be organized, IT literate, a great communicator and always be patient focused.
Currently we work between the hours of 7am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Please note-we welcome informal visits.
Main duties of the job
Administrative preparation of the daily clinics.
Preparation of the clinic rooms
Collating all information pre and post clinic.
Coordinating the running of clinics on a daily basis.
Meeting and greeting patients.
Acting as a chaperone if required
Recording 12 Lead ECGs if appropriate
Venepuncture if required.
Liaising with the Site team if a patients requires admission.
Supporting outpatients with mobility if required.
Supporting patients psychologically if requiring following/during clinic appointments.
Using the Trusts IT systems
Being involved with the audit process and involved with the Improving Together process.
Demonstrate working under own initiative within the parameters of the role.
Contribute to the role development and participate in team meetings.

Main duties of the job
To support the Senior Clinic Nurse in ensuring the provision of the safe and effective collection of blood at donor clinics.
To support the Senior Clinic Nurse in all aspects of nursing and clinical care of donors, ensuring a safe environment for all when working on the clinic. Be recognised as a source of clinical knowledge for advice and direction to non-clinical staff.
There will be a requirement for all staff to flex through various teams and blood collection facilities such as bloodmobiles, static sites and community clinics covering a large geographical area.
There is a requirement that the post holder will undertake scheduled tours that will include overnight stays several times a year.
