Job summary
The administrator/HR Assistant will provide an efficient, effective administrative and secretarial service to the Divisional Management team and the Divisional HR Business Partner. The post holder will be responsible for typing of routine correspondence, reports and official documents, photocopy, arrangement of meetings and appointments, taking notes of meetings in the absence of other PA's, electronic diary management and taking enquiries both in person and by telephone
Main duties of the job
Communication:
- Support the Division including sign posting to relevant Trust internet sites
- Deal with telephone enquiries from staff, public and outside agencies.
Organisation and Planning:
- Carry out a range of administrative support as required by dealing with or referring enquiries as appropriate.
- Support the Surgery PA team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Provide general administrative support on a range of tasks, including Long Service Achievement, Surgery Admin inbox, room bookings, Greatix and meeting support.
- Manage and maintain the PCP process.
- Provide support to annual leave sell back audit return.
- Bring forward documents and papers needed for meetings and devise systems to facilitate recall as necessary.
- Service meetings by preparing agenda/papers, note taking and recording where appropriate
- Use MS Excel and MS Word to process letters, documents and general correspondence and administer filing/photocopying relevant copies/record keeping and to formulate straightforward responses on behalf of the management team.
- Prioritise own workload.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Medicine team as a Data Co-ordinator. The post holder will be responsible for the prompt collection of complete, accurate and reliable data to the relevant databases within Medicine.
The successful individual will require excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with highly confidential patient information. Along with an advanced level of administrative and organisational skills.
The post holder will provide a co-ordinating role for Central to ensure compliance with national database submissions and ensuring validation of data quality. In order to contribute to the delivery of a safe and efficient service, the post holder will co-ordinate results and ensure accurate and timely completion of databases and reports to meet national deadlines.
The post holder will be required to work closely with identified senior clinical staff and become involved with relevant meetings.
In addition the post holder will provide administrative support to the team.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join and contribute to a dynamic and busy Medical Team. They will be responsible for the prompt collection of complete, accurate and reliable data to the relevant databases within Medicine.
The post holder will be required to work closely with identified senior clinical staff and become involved with relevant meetings. In addition the post holder will provide an accurate, confidential and supportive administration service for patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Data Co-ordination Duties
- To co-ordinate the provision of complete, accurate, reliable and timely data to the medical databases in line with national targets in an efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate databases for medicine which involves ensuring that the databases are adequate to support the activities of the service.

The appointment is for a Consultant in General Surgery within our friendly and well-established Surgical Specialties Division at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. This post is designed to support the existing provision of upper gastrointestinal surgery, as well as further developing the provision of laparoscopic surgery for benign upper gastrointestinal diseases, this will include complex laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair.

Main duties of the job
The role will be responsible for the management and development of the service as well as maintaining a clinical caseload. A commitment to collaborative working with the Multi-Disciplinary Team is essential. We actively support the education of Occupational Therapy students within our service.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and clinical skills, along with experience of service development and quality improvement.
To manage a defined caseload within specialist area, using evidence based /client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the outcomes of intervention where appropriate; hospital, community, patients' homes, schools, outpatient settings and maintaining associated records. To ensure clinical records are kept to agreed standards and report accurately to others.
To work in partnership with clients, carers and all stake holders including the multidisciplinary/ multi agency team to identify relevant goals.
To provide leadership and supervision for junior staff, as delegated by supervisor /team leader.
To regularly supervise Occupational Therapy students on practice placements.
To participate in CPD and develop skills and knowledge through participation in developmental activities.

We are looking for dynamic, visionary and hard-working candidates to join our expanding Respiratory Department. The team consists of Band 6 and 7 Respiratory CNS's and Respiratory Physiotherapists. The team will be responsible for identifying and assessing inpatients in hospital. Suitable in-patients with an exacerbation of COPD who are from the Swansea Bay area will be supported at home by this team. The team also works with patients ,GPs and Virtual Wards to prevent avoidable admissions .
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will be expected to work with colleagues to deliver a unified respiratory service across Swansea Bay UHB.
Wards are visited daily to identify and support patients who are suitable for an early discharge and patients are then followed up at home
Referrals for Admission Avoidance are accepted from Primary Care, WAST and patients already known to the team and is very successful in optimising patients quality of life and preventing admissions
The team manage a caseload of patients to provide education, teach self management skills and monitor recovery from acute exacerbations of COPD in patients homes
Education is encouraged in the team by formal education and an in house education programme.
The COPD Team from the COPD arm of the Virtual Wards.
Leadership and mentorship for Band 6 and 3 staff will be an important part of this role and also ongoing service development and evaluation
The successful applicant will be supported via an agreed bespoke induction plan and at regular MDT meetings
Ability to travel between sites and patients homes in a timely manner across Swansea Bay is essential.

Job summary
The Service Manager will manage a complex programme of interdependent projects across more than one Business Unit to ensure development of financially affordable solutions to capacity and quality constraints in Leeds Childrens Hospital, based at Leeds General Infirmary. This will enable the development, delivery and maintenance of all access targets, cancer capacity and cancelled operations target, activity plan and maximising data capture and coding efficiencies. The Service Manager will ensure that robust activity and financial management systems are in place during the planning period to maintain business continuity. Leeds Childrens Hospital covers 27 medical and surgical specialties and is one of the largest specialist childrens hospitals in the country. We have over 20 inpatient wards, employ over 800 nurses and last year held over 170,000 outpatient appointments and treated over 25,000 surgical patients both electively/non-electively. Leeds Teaching Hospitals is currently embarking on one of the largest and most high-profile investment, transformation and regeneration programmes in the City and the wider region. Its Building the Leeds Way Programme aims to transform healthcare for patients in Leeds and the wider region. The investment Programme include the construction of two new hospitals at the Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) site one for adults and the other a brand state of the art Childrens Hospital for Leeds and the surrounding region.

Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible, and conscientious Maintenance Worker to join the service delivery team.
The vacancy will be working in the conurbation of East and West Dorset including Poole, Bournemouth, Wimborne, Weymouth, Dorchester, Bridport and up to Sherborne.
As a full-time Maintenance Worker, you would be part of 50 strong team delivering electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance services in all our premises across Dorset. These include minor injury units, inpatient hospitals, community clinics and offices.
The successful applicants will need to hold and maintain a full UK driving license and will be provided with a trust vehicle (tracked 24/7 and for work use only).
The Maintenance Worker post includes a Recruitment and Retention Premium, and on-call allowance, as well as enhanced pay for over-time working, flexible working opportunities and entry to the NHS pension scheme. Uniform, all personal protective clothing, and basic hand tools are also provided.

Main duties of the job
There will be training and mentoring opportunities for developing the skills required in the role, some of which will require overnight attendance at various training venues.
Maintenance Workers need to be flexible in their approach and be able to work as part of a team, prepared to adjust and change plans at short notice and react to incidents as they occur in a calm, caring and supportive manner. Maintenance Workers may also be required at times of high demand, to work over-time at short notice.
As a Maintenance Worker you will need to possess good communication skills both written and verbal, have good IT skills, and be able to participate in an out of hours on-call service.
To undertake routine statutory and mandatory planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities across all Trust sites

It is an exciting time to join Salisbury Emergency Department as a Band 7; we are in a period of transition within the UEC team. This gives you the unique opportunity to shape the changes in emergency care and pathways to feel the tangible differences you can make.
We are continuing to look to develop our services and care we provide within Urgent and Emergency care including looking at developing a co-located Urgent Treatment Centre
There are also opportunities to expand on leadership skills as you will be responsible for a junior team and OD&P elements of managing junior staff. A band 7 development program is currently being designed, you will have opportunity and support to train and work alongside the coach house in change management, to broaden your experience.
Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust serves a mostly rural population; we are also a designated Trauma Unit with a track record in handling major incidents successfully which offers a varied and challenging patient workload, and the number of attendances is growing. We currently see approximately 50,000 patients per year.
Main duties of the job
You will be able to demonstrate expert knowledge in emergency nursing and be able to translate this into effective nursing practice. You will need to be a team player, have proven leadership abilities, be energetic, proactive and committed to your own professional development and that of others.
You will be working in partnership with the ED Matron to manage and provide leadership to the nursing team. Working collaboratively with the Lead Clinician and ED Service Manager, as well as the wider ED Senior team, to continuously improve and develop the service.

Main duties of the job
To provide an independently managed speech and language service to a mixed paediatric caseload with speech language and communication needs (SLCN) with support from senior colleagues.

They will be expected to engage at a strategic level across the full operational portfolio. Our emergency call handlers are committed, enthusiastic individuals who care about people. They must have the ability to listen and respond, processing information quickly and accurately into the Computer Aided Dispatch system. Customer service skills are important and the ability to remain calm and supportive as some callers will be experiencing significant distress and trauma, including the loss of a loved one. Being able to remain focused on giving the right advice and support despite experiencing the emotions of others is a real skill and strong calm communication is required.
All the training and mentoring you will need to undertake this role will be provided - no clinical experience is required; however, we do ask that you read the pre employment guidance which will support you when you commence training.

Job summary
To support the nursing team within the Children and Young People's Continence Service to deliver treatment and intervention for children with bladder and bowel difficulties. To work within a clinic environment, home setting and special school environment supporting the continence pathway set out by the nursing team. You will carry out a range of clinical and non-clinical healthcare, or therapeutic tasks, under the direct or indirect supervision of the registered healthcare practitioner, in accordance with the Trust values. There will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills, specific to your needs. Training will be provided to ensure you have the required core skills and skills set specific to your area of work. You will also be supported to obtain your care certificate if you do not have this qualification.
HCT will prioritise recruitment of workers living in England under the new immigration rules for care workers effective from 9 April 2025. Main duties of the job
Provide continence care and advice to CYP in homes, clinics, and community settings, following the care plan under the direction of the Senior Community Nurse.
Support and encourage CYP and their families with continence management and toilet training as outlined.
Assistwithin the Continence Clinic, including setting up andclosing down, preparing necessary equipment, and ensuring the comfort of CYP during appointments.
Carry out and reassess continence pad needs as delegated by the Senior Community Nurse, andparticipate in training school staff and professionals in the use of continence products.
Undertake clerical and administrative duties andmaintainingaccuraterecords in line with data protection policies.
Monitor andmaintainequipment lists, stock levels, and ensuretimelyservicing for the Children and Young People's Continence Team.
Work collaboratively with CYP, their families, and the multi-disciplinary team, alwaysdemonstratingsensitivity, professionalism, andmaintainingconfidentiality.
Promote a safe and comfortable care environment, responding to changes in the CYP's health and reportingconcernsas necessary.

We offer a varied role across the Emergency Department and Minor Injury Unit, opportunities to develop trauma care skills, and the chance to work alongside an experienced, supportive multidisciplinary team. The Emergency Department at Southmead Hospital sees between 300and 350 patients per day, with a wide variety of conditions predominantly from the North of Bristol but from the region as part of the Trusts tertiary services.
Please note the JD for this role does nothave RCEM approval due to the differences with the SPA split within the job plan.
Applicants should have a CCT or be within twelve months of achieving this at the date of interview or be listed on the GMC's specialist register to be eligible for application for a substantive post. CESR applicants are welcome and must have their CESR in place at the time of interview.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work with the established 29 Consultants and 2 Specialists in a rota including evening, weekend and overnight sessions as part of their job plan. The successful applicant will be expected to take a role in our new (co-located) minor injuries unit, as well as working with the other Consultants on the shop floor, enabling the Department to meet National Service Frameworks and Government targets.
The appointee will be contractually accountable to the Bristol Foundation NHS Trust for the provision of services. The appointee will be managerially responsible to the Chief Executive through the Divisional Director. All Consultants are required to undergo an annual appraisal carried out in accordance with the Trust policy. Consultants are also required to take an active and co-operative approach to their job planning, which will be reviewed on an annual basis by their clinical Director.
