Job summary
We are seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist with point of care (POCT) experience to join our team supporting services across UHP , Community Hospitals/CDC's , virtual wards and secondary care.
BMS candidates will have HCPC registration , in possession of a specialist diploma from the IBMS in POCT or able to demonstrate significant specialist knowledge, skill and experience in POCT.
This is an exiting opportunity to join a POCT team to contribute to service development , support expansion of POCT services in an established , technically advanced POCT service.
Covering a large portfolio of POCT devices you will play a role in defining and supporting services to enhance and streamline patient pathways across acute, emergency , virtual ward, UTC and community settings.
Working with clinical/POCT teams, you will help ensure services are delivered safely, effectively and in accordance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.Demonstrable experience of quality management/governance of POCT services to support the departmental goal to achieve ISO 15189 accreditation would be an essential attribute.
Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.

Main duties of the job
The post supports:
- Timely and accurate POCT results for patient care
- Specialist operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of POCT equipment
- POCT quality assurance, governance in line with accreditation compliance standards (ISO 15189)
- Training, competency assessment and supervision of POCT users and junior POCT staff
- Ongoing professional development with CPD practice to a specialist level
- Development, and implementation of service improvement initiatives
- Verification and validation of POCT devices, systems and processes

Main duties of the job
The Senior Quality Assurance Aseptic Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and high-quality production of medicines within our Pharmacy Aseptic Services. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care by safeguarding the quality standards that underpin every product we dispense.
In this role, you will contribute directly to maintaining and improving our Pharmacy Quality Management System (QMS), supporting day-to-day quality operations, and driving continuous improvement across the service. Your expertise will help ensure our team operates in line with regulatory expectations, uphold Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and deliver high-quality, timely outputs for patients and clinical teams.
You will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, working closely with Pharmacists, Technicians, Nurses and Nuclear Medicine Scientists. Reporting to the Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and System Manager, you will supervise and support technical staff, coordinate document control processes, lead investigations and audits, and contribute to quality reviews and departmental reporting. Main duties of the job
The Business & Development Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing and developing Liverpool GP Collaborative,supporting nine Primary Care Networks to create a sustainable, provider-ready organisation. The role is responsible for developing governance arrangements, organisational infrastructure, policies, business plans, risk registers and operational processes that support the Collaborative's long-term ambitions.
Key responsibilities include delivering strategic and operational plans, identifying opportunities for collaboration across member PCNs, developing future service models, securing funding, preparing business cases and supporting income generation. Job summary
The need for Consultant Dermatologists who are trained to a higher level in Medical Dermatology than the current CCT standard necessitates a post-CCT curriculum in Advanced Medical Dermatology .
This fellowship is designed to deliver the Post-CCT curriculum and to enable the post holder to rapidly acquire skills needed to deliver high quality specialist services for complex medical dermatology patients in specific areas of sub-specialisation.
Post-CCT Fellows will be expected to deliver service within the NHS appropriate to a newly qualified consultant, but will gain experience of independent practice in advanced medical dermatology in a working environment where there is support from highly experienced specialists.
Fellowship training usually occurs over 12 months but may be extended to support less than full time training.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be working at level of junior consultant, with competence to deal with general medical dermatology in an unsupervised capacity, but with provision of supervision for tertiary referral level specialist work.
The post will include will include: out-patient clinics and on call, including review of acute ward referrals; supervision of trainees on call and in clinic, attendance at relevant MDT meetings and regular biopsy list.
Clinics should include a specialist biologics clinic in psoriasis, specialist biologics clinic in eczema, specialist clinic in hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) , and flexibility to include other clinics depending on candidate choice, eg specialist clinic in blistering, oral dermatology, Lymphoma, Graft versus Host Disease (GVHD), severe urticaria, hair loss, connective tissue disease.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Special Needs Health Care Assistant based at Victoria College to support the needs of students aged 19-25 with complex health and learning needs.
The working hours are 25.0 hours/week over 5 days (Monday-Friday), 5.0 hours per day 10;00 - 15:00 Term-Time only. No weekend work is required for this role.
If you have an NVQ level 3 in Care/Social Care and experience of working with adults, especially young adults with complex additional health needs, we would like to hear from you!
Main duties of the job
o To assist with nursing care including delegated clinical procedures as set out in the Care Plan and following appropriate competency assessed training.
o To assist students, where appropriate, encouraging self-care and achievement of independence.
o To ensure accurate, timely and effective communication to the college nurse when receiving workload instructions and when reporting back information about students.
o Liaise with parents/carers, on behalf of the college nurse or other professionals, over the telephone, giving support in relation to health issues.
o Undertake home visits with members of the multi-professional team.
o To maintain strict confidentiality in relation to all information and records.
o Undertake appropriate action when concerns, e.g. adult protection issues, are identified, reporting to the college nurse and other relevant professionals and accurately recording issues/actions.
o To work within Trust Policies and Procedures and within agreed clinical standards for the Service.

To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to the acute stroke and neurology clinical areas. This involves providing a seven day service to stroke and neuromedicine.

Main duties of the job
To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse neurological presentations with complex physical, cognitive and language impairments, to formulate an impairment list and develop/deliver an individualised treatment programme.
To hold responsibility for own case load and be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, working autonomously. Senior support and supervision takes the form of regular 1:1 meetings, joint working clinically and regular appraisal. Access to advice and support from specialist physiotherapists is available if required, clinical work is not routinely evaluated.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
Supervise, educate and assess the performance of physiotherapy students and more junior staff; this would be to a graduate standard and involve working with universities to ensure the standard of practice and teaching meets the standards set by the degree level qualification.

Applications are invited for the substantive Consultant Breast post. The post is based in Birmingham Treatment Centre on the City Health Campus site
This particular post requires a highly skilled breast radiologist who has specialised in breast during their training and holds UK experience at Consultant grade. We are seeking a candidate to work within a cohesive and supportive breast multi-disciplinary team and to provide a quality service in both symptomatic and screening settings. Radiologist will cover dedicated breast sessions (up to 9 PAs). We currently have one vacancy for a full time post 10 PA role.
Main duties of the job
The service has encompassed the full 4 tier skill mix thus supporting learning and development opportunities at all levels. The team includes seven Consultant Radiologists, three Consultant Radiographers, Advanced Practitioners, Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners.
The Surgical team includes breast surgeons, two with Oncoplastic reconstruction expertise, Nurse Consultant - Breast and Breast Care Nurses. The multidisciplinary team is innovative, cohesive and forward thinking; participating in multiple national research and audit trials including the Prospect trial. The service has recently been subcontracted for high risk screening and also supports the high risk population from Russell Hall hospital.

Main duties of the job
The role involves;
- Networking with Clinical specialists within other fields and throughout the NWA Trust to streamline and progress services.
- To work closely with the wider MDT on Critical Care to develop OT service provision in Critical Care, including early rehab, orientation and functional rehab.
- Assisting the MDT, including therapists with the rehabilitation, discharge planning or onward referrals of complex patients on the wards.
- Taking an active role in and support the skill development of staff working on our wards, including junior OT staff and Degree Apprentices

An exciting opportunity has arisen within City Health Care Partnership's Programme Management Office (PMO) for a Programme Manager to join our Corporate Development team.

Job responsibilities
The Paediatric Matron is responsible for the operational and professional leadership of designated children's services, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality care. The postholder will provide visible leadership within clinical areas, maintaining oversight of patient safety, workforce, clinical standards, governance, complaints management and service performance.
The role works closely with Senior Sisters, Clinical Nurse Specialists, medical colleagues, operational teams and the wider Women and Children's leadership team to support service delivery and implementation of local and national priorities.
The postholder will contribute to service improvement, workforce planning, risk management and the ongoing development of children's services.
