We are a friendly, supportive, forward-thinking team in a busy town centre practice caring for patients with an array of interesting medical problems.
The successful candidate will be working all day. preferably on a Monday and should be available to start work in January 2027.
Main duties of the job
A key member of the clinical team, the successful candidate must hold a recognised Nurse Practitioner qualification. You will manage a caseload, dealing with a wide range of presenting healthcare problems and needs. The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will see both make professional autonomous decisions in relation to their problems, but remain fully supported by the existing clinicians. The post holder must be an Independent Prescriber.

At Cleckheaton Group Practice, we aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. Our team includes five GP partners, and two Advanced Clinical Practitioners. We have a team of Practice Nurses and Healthcare Assistants who work alongside our Reception team and Admin/Secretarial team. We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics for children, diabetes, heart disease, COPD and asthma sufferers and for patients needing minor surgery.

Act as Advanced Clinical Practitioner, demonstrating advanced clinical competence and a knowledge base beyond those associated with conventional nursing roles. Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence.
Undertake consultations with patients as an autonomous practitioner and using own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat or refer patients
