Job summary
We are looking for a motivated person with excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working within a customer focused environment. Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.
You will be required to undertake a wide variety of administration duties including arranging Radiology and Phlebotomy appointments and reception work. You will also have to work to deadlines whilst maintaining data accuracy working in a pressurised environment.
A portion of this job will be at the new Halifax CDC at Broad Street Plaza and Huddersfield CDC at the university. This will involve some evening and weekend working
You should have excellent communication skills, together with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. An excellent telephone manner and attention to detail are essential and the awareness for strict confidentiality at all times.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of the Radiology Administration team, the post holder will be required to provide efficient and clerical support to the Radiology Department including community sites.
To work as part of a team providing a high-quality service to patients, visitors and colleagues within the Radiology Department.
To be the first contact at Radiology reception desk and on the telephone for all service users. Book patients' appointments for diagnostic purposes in line with the office booking rules and using the electronic diary. Be flexible and rotate between tasks and sites.

Check patients waiting times, ensuring appointments are booked within waiting time targets; ensuring patients are not breaching any targets.
Support the booking of Radiology appointments that are made outside of the Radiology Appointment Centre, for example Fluoroscopy, Interventional, Isotopes, General X Rays.
To arrange patient transport using the online booking system, as required.
To arrange interpreters, as and when required.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
To remain calm always and to be able to deal with verbal/aggressive abuse from patients/relatives in a professional manner.
Participate, as directed in various tasks which support the daily patient flow and operations of the Radiology department.
Co-operate in performance improvement activities, as required; embrace any new changes.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to work on a shift pattern, to assess patients across the urgent care pathway, working autonomously and flexibly to manage the day-to-day assessments and/or advising on management of CYP under the age of 18 years and their families presenting to A&E Diversion Hubs based at Chase Farm, A&E and ward admissions to Barnet hospital or North Middlesex University Hospital with self-harm and acute mental health difficulties.
The post holder will be required to undertake a range of therapeutic tasks individually and jointly with members of the multi-disciplinary team. To develop & maintain specialist clinical skills and expertise in the assessment of CYP psychiatric emergencies and deliberate self-harm. To receive and assess referrals from A&E, paediatric/general wards, Community Teams, schools, and health colleagues across the NCL as well as self-referrals from CYP and their families. To offer advice on management of patients with mental health issues and non-organically based physical symptoms. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our large, friendly and innovative paediatric Speech and Language Therapy team. Main duties of the job
The postholder will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and intervention for children and young people with speech, language and communication needs, in particularly those with complex developmental needs. They will manage an independent paediatric caseload, develop and evaluate evidence-based therapy programmes, and work closely with families, education staff and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.
The role includes providing advice, training and support to parents, carers and professionals, producing clinical reports and contributing to statutory processes such as Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The postholder will use advanced clinical reasoning to inform decision-making, communicate complex and sensitive information effectively, and ensure care is child-centred and tailored to individual needs.
The postholder will contribute to service development, clinical governance, audit and quality improvement activities, while maintaining accurate records and complying with professional, safeguarding and information governance requirements. They will also support the development of colleagues, students and support staff through supervision, training and mentorship, and maintain their own continuing professional development in line with HCPC and RCSLT standards.

Job summary
We are looking for a permanent part-time Medical Receptionist to join our team based at The Robert Darbishire Practice, the largest and busiest of the three GP practices in Better Health MCR. The post is 22.5 hours per week; Monday - Friday 08:00 - 12:30.

Main duties of the job
Our reception team are the first point of contact for our patients and play an important role in understanding patients needs, resolving queries, dealing with prescription requests and either booking an appointment with the most appropriate clinician at the practice or signposting the patient to a service outside the practice.
You dont need to have worked in healthcare before as long as you have excellent people skills, a good attention to detail and you are willing and eager to learn new skills. We will provide in-house training and support.

Job summary
This role will involve the practitioner working within the team in a busy Cardiology department providing a range of complex cardiology investigations and producing detailed and evidence based clinical reports.
The post holder will perform a range of invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations according to grade and within scope of training. The post would suit a newly or recently qualified Cardiac Physiologist/PTP looking for a springboard to further their career. Ensuring a flexible and responsible service, which is based on an individualised approach to patients, respecting their privacy and dignity at all times. The post holder will be required to deal with some patients who are acutely unwell and /or distressed. Ensure that all patients are dealt with courteously and promptly whilst maintaining their comfort and dignity as much as is possible

This is a post in general and neonatal paediatrics. The appointee will work alongside junior medical team. During the period wide basic paediatricexperience is gained. There are weekly Paediatric Meeting and Teaching Sessions. There are regular Audit Meetings held within the Departmentand jointly with the Accident and Emergency Department and the Obstetricians.
The Hospital Paediatric Department is based at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston and consists of one Paediatric Assistant Unit (PAU), a purpose-built Paediatric Out-Patient Department and Neonatal Unit. It is a condition of the appointment that the post holder will be willing to work in any of the Trust's locations or outreach district general hospital clinics.
The Department of Paediatrics and Child Health consists of:
o 24 bedded acute inpatient unit at Lincoln County Hospitalo Paediatric day assessment unit at Lincoln County Hospitalo Local Neonatal Unit(Level 2) at Lincoln County Hospitalo 12 bedded paediatric assessment unit at Pilgrim Hospital, Bostono Level 1 neonatal unit at Pilgrim Hospital, Bostono Outpatient clinics that are conducted both at Lincoln and Boston along with a number of outreach clinics throughout the county of Lincolnshireo Both sites also have a number of visiting speciality consultants including nephrology, endocrinology and cardiologyo Both primary sites offer day surgery
Main duties of the job
1. GENERAL PAEDIATRICS: The in-patient service is based on one the Paediatric Assessment Unit. The ST1-3 may be called out to Accident& Emergency to give advice or deal with emergencies. The Out-Patient Department is based at the Pilgrim Hospital and, depending on grade,the post holder will be expected to attend Out-Patients regularly. These sessions include Boston-based and visiting Consultants.
2. NEONATAL PAEDIATRICS: The tier 1 doctors (this post) are supervised by the tier 2 doctors (ST4 and above/Specialty Doctors) atresuscitation on the labour suite, on the post natal wards and on the neonatal unit. The unit currently takes neonates up to 34 weeks. Infants withsurgical problems and extreme prematurity are transferred to either Lincoln County Hospital or sub regional centres. Further experience ofpractical procedures will be gained.
3. TEACHING: The ST1-2's are occasionally involved in teaching Nursery Nurses, Student Nurses and Midwives.

Main duties of the job
The Mortality and Clinical Harm Team forms part of the Quality Governance Team and is responsible for overseeing, developing and supporting mortality, clinical harm and Child Death Review processes across University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. The team supports the scrutiny of mortality data, Structured Judgement Reviews, coronial activity and Child Death Reviews, using outputs to drive learning, quality improvement and patient safety across the organisation. The team also acts as a central source of expert advice and guidance for clinical and non-clinical colleagues.

- Lead the operational coordination of the Trust's Child Death Review process.

An exciting opportunity has risen to recruit a full time Band 4 as a MDT Coordinator and Patient Pathway Coordinator at the Children's Hospital Unit - Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Trust.

Main duties of the job
To work as part of a team responsible for overseeing and monitoring the delivery of a range of multidisciplinary support services across South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust sites. These services include Cleaning, Portering, Catering including Retail, Waste Management and Linen. The role is responsible for ensuring that both in-house and outsourced service providers consistently meet contractual obligations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, providing assurance that services are safe, effective, compliant, and delivered in line with Trust and contractual expectations.

SWFT Clinical Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of the South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT). The company provides a number of services such as outpatient pharmacy facilities at Warwick and Stratford and Nuneaton hospitals; estates and facilities management at Stratford hospital, Acorn House and Lillington Health Hub; private patient service and consultancy services to NHS Trusts.
Subject to the Company and individual's performance, an annual discretionary bonus will be awarded.
There is automatic enrolment to the Company pension scheme, with the Company contributing 5%.

Maintain good communication links with contractors.

Monitoring of Ward and departmental areas to an agreed schedule and document as appropriate
Produce action plan for contractor with any shortfalls in cleaning standards with appropriate targets highlighted
If any maintenance/ nursing/equipment issues found raise with relevant department
Spots checks to ensure cleanliness issue have been rectified within the agreed timeframe
Results spread sheet to be updated to Assistant General Manager - Hotel Services on a weekly basis
Linen Services
Quarterly stock take of staff uniforms
Monitoring of the Contracted Linen Supplier to ensure compliance with specification
Portering
Auditing of specific tasks within portering function such as waste trails, soiled linen process, patient movements in conjunction with the Hotel Service Managers
Catering
Participating in the auditing of Patient Food delivery service from main/ward kitchen to patient to include temperature/taste testing.
General Duties
Producing and typing up of all audit results in a timely manner
Participation in the Patient Led Assessments for the Care Environment (PLACE) annual programme
Assist with processing of invoices for all sections under Hotel Services Department
