This is an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious Medical Education & Staffing Department. The postholder will work as part of the Psychiatry Training Course Team delivering a training course for psychiatrists across Yorkshire & Humber on behalf of NHS England.

Sheffield Partnership is a dedicated contributor to regional medical education acting as a lead employer for regional specialist training schemes, leading in psychiatry undergraduate medical student placements whilst delivering the Psychiatry Training course for the Yorkshire and Humber region on behalf of NHS England Yorkshire and Humber. Main duties of the job
This post will provide a specialised, comprehensive and confidential administration service for the Medical Education & Staffing Department at the Trust in accordance with Departmental, Trust and National Standards, policies and procedures and the Trust's contractual obligations as the commissioned provider of the Psychiatry Training Course (PTC) on behalf of the Yorkshire & Humber School of Psychiatry.
The post holder will work as part of the PTC Team to provide administration support to the Curriculum Delivery Lead, Training Programme Directors, PTC Manager, Associate Course Organisers, PTC Coordinator and other key local and regional stakeholders by providing administrative support associated with the delivery of the Yorkshire and Humber Psychiatry Training Course.
The postholder will be required to work with autonomy, managing their own workload to effectively deliver a wide and complex range of administrative duties, sometimes withcompeting demands and of a sensitive and confidential nature. The post holder will be expected to advise postgraduate doctors in training, trainers and educational leadership on matters relating to the delivery of the PTC or associated events and meetings.

We are looking for either an experienced Reception Coordinator/Supervisor or an experienced GP Receptionist who is ready to take the next step in their career.
This is a varied role combining reception, administration and team coordination responsibilities. Working closely with the Operations Lead and Business Manager, you will help ensure the smooth running of our reception and administrative functions whilst supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the reception team, coordinating day-to-day operations and maintaining a professional, efficient and welcoming service for our patients.
Main duties of the job
The Reception Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the reception and administration team, ensuring the efficient delivery of front-line services and maintaining high standards of patient care and customer service.
Working closely with the Operations Lead, the successful candidate will help coordinate staffing, rotas, annual leave and workload allocation, whilst providing guidance and support to reception and administrative colleagues.
The role will remain hands-on and will include reception and administration duties such as managing patient enquiries, booking appointments, supporting clinical and administrative workflows, overseeing document management processes and assisting with the induction and training of new staff.
The postholder will also contribute to the ongoing development of practice systems and processes, support quality improvement initiatives and work closely with the wider practice team to ensure patients receive an efficient, professional and welcoming service at all times.
