Thenew CDC centre has the ability to deliver joined up diagnostic care, and with increased capacity this will ensure our patients will have faster access to treatment, earlier diagnosis, and improved outcomes.
By becoming part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in innovative ways and play a central role in how we improve patient pathways, delivering the right test, at the right time, in the right place.
We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to provide comprehensive Booking and clerical support to the Diagnostic Imaging Department using a high level of initiative and discretion.
Excellent communication skills are vital as the post-holders will be required to liaise directly with patients, consultants and other hospital/external colleagues face-to-face, on the telephone and in writing.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will deal with patient and general enquiries, both in person and on the telephone, keeping relevant records.
The role involves being able to provide effective running of diagnostic bookings.
- Book, amend, and confirm diagnostic appointments using NHS systems
- Maintain accurate waiting lists, ensuring timely escalation of patients approaching breach dates.
- Liaise with Speciality Team Leaders to ensure capacity is used effectively.
- Process patient cancellations, removals, and pathway updates in accordance with elective access policies.
- Support the validation of waiting lists, checking data accuracy and ensuring correct patient tracking lists (PTLs).
- Provide a friendly, professional, and empathetic service to patients and visitors.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and face-to-face enquiries in a calm and courteous manner.
- Communicate appointment details clearly, ensuring patients understand times, locations, and requirements.
You will be required to enter request forms onto the CRIS system and cover the reception desk, booking in patients and dealing with enquiries and opening and distributing the post for the department.
This role requires a willingness to work as part of a team as well as the ability to work unsupervised.
The ability to work under pressure, pay attention to detail and have excellent organisational skills are also necessary to manage the pressures of a very busy role.

Job summary
Come and join our friendly, supportive team making a difference to the lives of children and young people. NELFT is the largest providers of Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in England. The MHSTs deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions in educational settings for children experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties aged 5 to 18 years old. The teams also have a strong focus on whole school approaches to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people. The South-West Essex MHST covers a large geographical area incorporating the districts of Thurrock, Basildon and Brentwood and Billericay. We are an early intervention and prevention evidence-based service and as a team we are supportive and passionate in what we deliver. We are a friendly team of professionals who come from multidisciplinary backgrounds. We recognise the needs for a healthy work life balance, and we will consider flexible working applications in line with the trust policies and process. Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work in partnership with schools, to support children, young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties and their families in the self-management of presenting difficulties. They will work in partnership with schools, children, young people, and families in the development of plans for the intervention and agreed outcomes. Practitioners will work as autonomous and responsible clinicians within their scope of practice, alongside education colleagues. They will be experienced in the delivery of interventions to support CYP in primary, secondary and higher education settings. The practitioner will complete comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, care plans and reviews. They will be proficient in using Routine Outcome Measures (ROMS) and clinical tools to gather feedback and guide clinical practice, with opportunities for service provision planning and mapping with schools to inform the delivery of support to CYP. The post holder will be supported to work alongside other EMHPs/CWPs in educational settings, as well as working alongside more Senior Mental Health Practitioners to support learning and development. There will be opportunities for individual work, group work and consultation. We offer all staff a robust supervision framework to support with their clinical development.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Practitioner with a UK Professional Registration to join our MHST. Macmillan Cancer Support & Information Support Worker will be based at The Lodge Cancer Support and Information Centre. Main duties of the job
The post holder, as a registered nurse within the acute care at home team, is responsible for the delivery of high-quality evidence-based care for acutely ill patients within their homes, with the aim of preventing hospital admission or facilitating rapid discharge.
The post holder will liaise with the referring hospital or GP when arranging admission to the service and will take responsibility to effectively assess, develop, implement and evaluate patient care.
The Acute Care at Home Team work on a flexible rota shift system. The service covers a period of 0800 hours to 2030 hours 7 days a week. The geographical area when on duty is anywhere within North and East Cornwall areas. The post holder is predominantly a lone worker within this area.
As part of the role you will regularly deputise in the absence of Team Leader and assist in the management of the team, including the performance and development of staff and providing support to other team members.

- Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the Practice.
- Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow-up appointments.
- Using your own judgment and communication skills ensure that patients with no prior appointment but who need urgent consultation are seen in a logical and non-disruptive manner.
- Explain Practice arrangements and formal requirements to new patients and those seeking temporary cover and ensure procedures are completed.
- Receive and make telephone calls as required. Divert calls and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt appropriate delivery.
- Enter requests for home visits into the visit screen.
- Action repeat prescription requests and ensure that they are ready for collection by the patient within 48 hours.
- Advise patients of relevant charges for private (non General Medical Services) services, accept payment and issue receipts for same.
- Enter patient information on to the computer as required.
- Patient notes and correspondence:
- Retrieve and re-file records as required, ensuring strict alphabetical order is adhered to.
- File notes into patient Lloyd George records as required.
- Ensure records are kept in good repair with all necessary information on the outside cover clearly visible.
- Make and serve refreshments, ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy and air and tidy the waiting room in turn with other staff.

Premises:
- Open up premises at the start of the day when first to arrive, de-activate alarm and make all necessary preparations to receive patients.
- When last to leave at the end of the day, ensure that the building is totally secured, internal lights are off and the alarm activated.

The Diagnostic Imaging and Neurophysiology departments are recruiting a full-time clerical administrator. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth running of both services, supporting both patients and staff.

The role includes dealing with enquiries from patients and staff, and booking appointments via the telephone, email and in person. In addition, the role includes providing patients with support, non-clinical advice and information including appointment queries.
Main duties of the job
- To deal with enquiries from patients, staff and visitors
- To lead clinic coordination under the guidance of the department manager
- To set up maintain, modify and cancel data entry with a high level of accuracy

The Diagnostic Imaging and Neurophysiology services at Dorset County Hospital are innovative and growing departments. Radiology currently has 3 CT and 2 MRI scanners, highly skilled Ultrasound, Interventional and Fluoroscopy departments along with X-ray and Mammography. We have expanded with a CT scanner in the Weymouth site, and in addition X-Ray and Ultrasound facilities in the South Walks Site. The New Emergency Department, due in 2027, will have X-Ray and CT services included.
Based across multiple sites we have worked hard to ensure we offer an accessible and quality service for our patients. This is reflected in our achievement to gain and maintain our UKAS BS70000 accreditation, the state-of-the-art equipment we use for imaging and expansion of Community Diagnostic Centres.

The post-holder will provide an efficient, confidential and professional secretarial service to a consultants and their supporting team. This will include administration and secretarial support to enable provision of patient care and specialty services. Main duties of the job
Medical secretaries are responsible for:
Providing a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the medical staff and their supporting team.
Providing cover for colleagues in their absence to maintain service levels.Ensuring excellent communication is provided to patients, relatives, general practitioners and other hospital staff to ensure a proficient, high-quality service for patients and clinicians.

Job summary
We are pleased to offer the opportunity for a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a subspecialty interest in Otology and Paediatric ENT to join our friendly and supportive team of ENT Surgeons in Rotherham. This is a fixed term post for 12 months to cover a colleague on secondment. The department currently consists of 5 Consultants, 1 Associate Specialist, 2 Specialty doctors, 1 Specialty Registrar and 6 Foundation/Core trainees working jointly with Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals. Day-case surgery and outpatient clinics are provided at Rotherham Hospital with inpatient care provided at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Main duties of the job
Virtually all aspects of ENT are carried out by the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust Consultants, except those requiring regional involvement for example skull base surgery and specialised paediatrics. Day surgery and outpatient clinics are held at the Rotherham NHS foundation trust site, whilst inpatient surgery and emergencies, including on-call work, are carried out at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. The out of hours on-call commitment is currently 1:13 with prospective cover.
The post holder will contribute to the provision and development of the general ENT and otology service, including paediatric ENT, at Rotherham. They will work as part of a team of 5 Consultants and will be expected to contribute to the training of the Specialty Registrars who rotate through the Yorkshire and Humberside Training Rotation, as well as providing supervision and support to our middle grade and junior medical staff. There are opportunities to be involved in medical audit and research as well as the teaching of medical undergraduates.
