Job summary
The post-holder provides support to our clinicians in the receipt and preparation of repeat prescriptions for our patients. They will also provide general assistance to the Practice team and is expected to project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors at all times. Additionally, they will have opportunities to support the practice clinical team in areas of safe prescribing, performance, clinical governance, data quality, information analysis and reporting and maximise the practices use of technology to provide an efficient cost-effective level of service.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include co-ordinating and preparing repeat prescriptions for our patients, data entry onto patient records, EPS and patient and pharmacy liaison.
Monitor repeat prescription requests to ensure that patients attend medication reviews and other health checks
Comply with the requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice, and with safe systems of work for re-authorising repeat prescriptions
Liaise with pharmacies on the supply of prescribed drugs, alert our clinicians of any supply issues and forward information on the recommended alternatives
Maintain accurate patient records promptly and quickly - entering data in accordance with reporting requirements
Build good working relationships with local pharmacies to help enable our prescription service
Create tasks and assist clinicians in managing document workflow relating to prescriptions
Establish and maintain filing and administrative systems so that written or computerised information is easily accessible and secure
Escalate any problems to the Practice Manager that you need support with

Main duties of the job
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To assist the pharmacy team (under the supervision of a pharmacy registered professional) in providing a high quality service to patients, customers and pharmacy staff in the dispensaries and within the Trust, by promoting a positive and professional image of pharmacy and demonstrating good customer care skills.
Take an active role in accurately dispensing medicines to provide an efficient and timely service and participate in reception duties. Inclusion Drug and Alcohol Services are delighted to be supporting a new full-time trainee Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner role, with the required training course planned to start on 5th January 2027.
Over the 12-month training period individuals will attend study at University of Sussex (in person and remote learning) as well as spending time working clinically in a Drug and Alcohol service. These are exciting roles created by NHSEWTE to support the transformation of community mental health and drug and alcohol services. Your training will be fully funded, and you will be eligible for a full-time qualified permanent position on completion of the training course. In return, we ask that you commit to staying with us for at least two years after you qualify.
The successful candidate will be required to work across our sites in the North of Hampshire (including Aldershot, Basingstoke and Andover)

Main duties of the job
As a trainee MHWP you will, under supervision,
o Work within a drug and alcohol service when not completing the programme of study.o Complete all aspects of the taught programme of study and progress successfully through all aspects of appraisal related to this.o Develop and practice psychologically-informed interventions (not therapy) under supervision, with adults in our service and our communities.o Support collaborative care and treatment packages, alongside other members of the multi-disciplinary team.o Develop caring, supportive, and empathic relationships with people using our services who may be in significant distress alongside guiding towards partner services which may benefit them or their families/carers.o You will need to have flexibility and adaptability and a passion for working with adults with complex needs. The enhanced care team offer additional support across all the wards and departments for patients who may require additional support due to, unfamiliar surroundings, medication, mental health issues or challenging behavioural needs.

Main duties of the job
They post holder be responsible for the effective and efficient operational management of the enhanced care team. This Electrical role is based at Fieldhead Hospital in Wakefield but covers other health centres in the Wakefield and surrounding areas that sits under the trust footprint.

Healthcare Professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period.
Main duties of the job
- To prioritise referrals and manage workload
- To assess, monitor and continually evaluate risk management of situation and environment for both patient/carer/family and staff and deal with safety issues as identified.
- To assess, deliver and evaluate all aspects of clinical nursing care based on best practice.
- Use of equipment/technology to aid appropriate assessment of patient condition and delivery of treatment such as Doppler, Syringe Driver, enteral feed system, moving and handling equipment
- To carry out a range of clinical duties that involve dealing with body fluids eg venepuncture, wound dressings, catheterisation and tracheostomy care.
- To undertake and obtain samples for diagnostic purposes eg venepuncture, wound swabs, urinary and faecal sampling.

An opportunity has arisen for a post Band 2 Health Care Support Worker, within the Main Outpatients Department.
The successful candidate will work in Main Outpatients Department, which involves working in a Main clinic area, assisting Registered Nurses / Medical team with Adult patients. Prepare ward/clinical area for receiving patients by ensuring area is generally clean and tidy - assist in maintaining the standards in the clinical area and report any untidiness/clutter to the appropriate person.
Assist in the admission of new patients into the department by preparing bed/trolley area, welcoming patient, directing to bed/other area, showing patient around the ward.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Dietetic Assistant to join our friendly team of 22 Dietitians and 4 Dietetic Assistants who deliver services in acute and primary care and public health. Dietetic Assistants assist Registered Dietitians by helping them to complete a range of fascinating nutrition related tasks and projects. This Band 3 Assistant role is based within the acute services team - which are embracing innovative and better ways of working, and epitomizes the core values of our Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
We deliver clinical placements for students, have secretarial support and are part of a wider team of 60 dietitians working across the three Areas of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board
Main duties of the job
There is a strong, interconnected Dietetic team within the Central Team, and across North Wales, who are in regular contact via email and phone, sharing information, resources and developments wherever possible.
All necessary development support and supervision will be provided to the right individual.
