Job summary
Are you ready to use your IM&T Technician skills in a way that makes a positive impact on peoples lives? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to become a member of our End User Compute team within the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Your role will be within our EUC Operations Team, based both at the Leeds General Infirmary or St. Jamess University Hospital, reporting to the respective EUC Ops Team Leaders. This position is part of a team providing day-to-day technical IT support for staff within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. A critical part of the role will be extensive support for the ongoing Hardware Refresh programme designed to maintain our IT estate in a healthy and cyber secure condition. The successful candidate must demonstrate an excellent understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office backed up by at least three years experience within an IT support environment including a service desk. Although this post operates a flexi hour system there will be a requirement to cover the hours of 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, within the departmental rota. Travel to different sites within the Trust may be required as part of the post holders duties. An exciting opportunity has come up for an enthusiastic, competent and professional medical secretary to join the Rheumatology team at The Royal Surrey County Hospital.

The role of the Clinical Administrator within the Primary and Community Mental Health service is an integral part of the whole administrative function and will provide an effective and efficient support service to the multi-disciplinary staff team(s), performing particular tasks and duties as directed by the Team Administrator/Admin Coordinator and Operations Manager.

We are looking for a highly skilled, enthusiastic and patient-centred band 4 ophthalmic technician with great communication and IT skills to join our very busy team in the ophthalmology outpatient department at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team with other ophthalmic technicians, healthcare assistants, nurses, orthoptists, optometrists, ophthalmologists and admin teams on a daily basis. You will be supporting clinics with patients from different sub-specialties within ophthalmology including, glaucoma, medical retina, cataract, oculoplastic, orthoptics, uveitis and cornea. You will also be working with our wards and A&E departments.
Main duties of the job
Measurement of visual acuity using logMAR, and other acuity tests
Visual field tests - Perform the relevant visual field test for the patient within Eye Department protocols on the Humphrey Field Analyser, liaising with Orthoptic staff where necessary in complex cases. Identify where visual fields have changed significantly, have unexpected variations, or which may indicate deterioration and to seek advice from either Medical or Orthoptic staff.
Perform routine retinal imaging using the appropriate diagnosis protocols
Perform Ocular Coherence Tomography and provide the required analysis to aid diagnosis and monitor treatment of retinal conditions
Biometry - To undertake Biometry with a high level of accuracy and speed, using both contact and non-contact methods. To ensure regular monitoring of personal accuracy and to take part in regular audit of biometry. This technique may involve an uncomfortable working position particularly with patients confined to a wheelchair.
Fundus photography - To take clear accurate photographs of various eye conditions and to record the results on the computer database demonstrating knowledge of the more frequently seen ophthalmic conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma.
Assist in the printing of all modes of ophthalmic imaging as required
Instil drops for use in ophthalmic procedures in line with current Patient Group Directions

We are seeking some highly motivated and passionate Recovery Worker to join the MDT team at Community inpatient unit. You will work under direction of the HCA/ Assistant Practitioner and Nursing team and will carry out assigned tasks involving personal and nutritional care needs to patients.

Job summary
We are looking to appoint a receptionist to join our busy GP practice based over two sites, who will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors as well as carrying out general office management tasks.
You will be responsible for the general reception duties within the Practice and work with our established processes, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive high quality service and deal efficiently and courteously with patient enquiries.
You will receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
You will provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
You will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate and friendly nature who can operate in a busy environment working with a range of people.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised and an effective communicator who can provide a professional and warm welcome to our patients, ensuring every contact is of the highest quality.
Main duties of the job
- To have a thorough knowledge of all practice procedures.
- Computer data entry, processing and recording information in accordance with practice procedures.
- Providing clerical assistance to practice staff as required, including word/data processing, electronic filing, photocopying, and scanning.
- Cover sickness/annual leave and work reasonable overtime when required.
- Receiving patients, consulting with members of the practice team.

About us
The Menston and Guiseley Practice seek a reliable and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our busy two-site GP Practice.
The role is for approximately 18 hours per week to work Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, 7.45 - 1.45, although there can be flexibility if necessary. Shifts will be split across both of our surgeries in Guiseley and Menston.
The ideal candidate will be flexible to cover annual leave and absence where necessary and will be able to work in a calm and professional manner while under pressure and will offer excellent customer service and communication skills.
