Job summary
The Urgent Care Teams are a 24/7 service providing, first point of contact, comprehensive triage service, telephone and face to face clinical assessment to patients and/or their carers/relatives, enabling a safe and appropriate clinical decision and plan of care.
The Urgent Care teams, including the Clinical Assessment Service, Community Urgent Care Team and Crisis Support Team, are responsible for health and social care triage including supporting prevention of hospital admission and/or early hospital discharge through assessment and treatment of individuals in crisis, assessing complex and specialist needs to develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care. The Urgent Care Teams also support individuals to remain in community settings in their own home environments during crisis periods of crisis and treatment.

Main duties of the job

Salary: Range 4 £27,288 - £29,112 pro rata per annum - you will be appointed on a fixed salary point within the salary range.
You will be required to work a rota pattern which includes weekends and Bank Holidays
The post holder will provide a comprehensive, administrative service to the Urgent Care Sector supporting team members, managers, senior managers and executives by performing a variety of administrative tasks. Working independently, prioritising work as necessary and without direct supervision on routine matters. You will undertake an important role in the delivery of performance monitoring within CUCT whilst continually developing and utilising new systems to further streamline, modernise and improve the service. You will be responsible for managing office operations, scheduling appointments, planning meetings, and providing general assistance in a fast-paced environment.

This position involves working weekends & some bank holidays
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Goodmayes Hospital.
Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
High-Cost Area Supplement
This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,870 and a maximum payment of £6,137) pro rata for part time staff.

NELFT are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurses to complement our skill mix within the CHCS across Havering. The Community Nurse will support the provision of holistic health care, as delegated within the agreed level of competency, to patients and families/carers in their own homes, including residential care homes, and in nurse-led clinics.
MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE
The role encompasses treatment, advice and teaching within the post holder's professional competence, and applicants need to demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care. The ideal candidate must be a registered nurse (Part 1) and will work as a member of the integrated community health care team, working within and across professional and organisational boundaries. Liaising with GPs, other professionals, and statutory and voluntary agencies, he/she will deliver individualised care to patients under the supervision of the District Nurse.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Goodmayes Hospital.
Probationary Period

High-Cost Area Supplement

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and patient-focused Receptionist/Administrator to join our friendly GP practice team.
The successful candidate will work as part of our reception team, supporting the safe and efficient preparation and supply of medicines to our patients. You will play an important role in ensuring that prescriptions are processed accurately, medicines are appropriately stored and stock levels are maintained.
This is a busy and varied role, requiring excellent attention to detail, good organisational skills and a professional approach to patient care.
Previous experience in a reception, office administration or GP practice environment would be advantageous. However, we are also interested in candidates with relevant transferable experience and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will:
- Provide a friendly, professional and welcoming reception service to patients and visitors.
- Answer telephone calls and deal with patient enquiries promptly and courteously, ensuring queries are directed to the appropriate member of the practice team.
- Book, amend and cancel appointments in accordance with practice procedures.
- Support patients with general administrative and non-clinical queries..

Hours: 37.5 per week plus On-call commitment
The Department is operational from 7am - 8pm over a 6 day shift system. Your typical hours will be one week of earlies and one week of lates and the successful applicant will need to be able to work flexible shifts covering these hours. Main duties of the job
- Lead the estates electrical team and maintenance contractors to ensure statutory, critical and routine tasks are completed, recorded, and fully documented for the Estates Management Team.
- Support the in-house electrical team and contractors by ensuring adequate spares and materials are available for efficient completion of works.
- Implement improvement plans where poor performance is identified within the electrical team, escalating concerns to the Estates Supervisor or Estates Manager if progress is not achieved.
- Review completed electrical works to ensure quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness, addressing any issues directly with staff or contractors.
- Provide technical support and leadership to resolve electrical faults.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Dietitian to join our well established and friendly Nutrition and Dietetics team at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. This permanent Band 6 post is full time (37.5 hours per week) specialising in type 1 diabetes outpatients, DAFNE (potential opportunity for training/development) and the REACT team, providing dietetic input to a multidisciplinary therapy team to ensure vulnerable patients' nutritional and hydration needs are met particularly in urgent and emergency care.
The post holder will also provide the clinical support and development of a Band 5 Dietitian, as well as supporting B and C student placements.
The Nutrition and Dietetic Department consists of over 40 members of staff, providing integrated acute and community nutrition and dietetic services across Buckinghamshire.
We actively encourage CPD and clinical supervision for the professional development of the team. The department has good secretarial / IT support and takes students for B and C placements. Accommodation on site may be available.
Main duties of the job
To be an autonomous practitioner and act as a source of clinical expertise in the areas of type 1 diabetes in the out-patient setting and nutrition support across acute and community services (supporting timely discharge/front door care).
To work autonomously, developing dietetic input to a multidisciplinary therapyTeam (REACT) to ensure vulnerable patients nutritional and hydration needs are met particularly in urgent and emergency care.
To provide specialised assessment, treatment and support of patients requiring dietetic treatment in diabetes services.
To provide support for dietitians, dietetic assistants, student dietitians and members of the wider MDT.
To develop and maintain a high standard of knowledge and practical experience in dietetics and nutritional support.
To work autonomously to assess and advise on nutritional diagnosis (interpretation of biochemistry, anthropometry, clinical condition and diet history) and the development of suitable Dietetics care plans, feeding plans/regimens (including the calculation of nutritional requirements and client centred goals)
To develop and deliver the dietetic service within urgent and emergency care (accident and emergency, short stay ward) to ensure patients receive dietetic support in a timely manner, in order to influence nutritional status as early as possible.

Job summary
We have seven modern theatres in Chelsea which includes three robotic theatres. We cover a wide range of specialties, including Sarcoma and Melanoma, Upper and Lower GI, Plastics, Head and Neck, Gynaecology, Urology and Breast, using a wide range of surgical techniques. Our theatres scrub team is trusted, skilled, hardworking and supportive, and we're looking for a motivated and experienced scrub nurse or experienced scrub ODP who can demonstrate leadership qualities and a real interest in high quality perioperative care to join us.

Main duties of the job
- To carry out in a responsible and efficient way, the nursing care for patients which have been drawn up in conjunction with the co-ordinator of the shift.
- As a member of the theatre team to perform all the tasks of a registered theatre nurse/ODP including resuscitation, scrub and circulation following all checks and procedures as laid down in National and Trust theatre policy. The post holder is expected to carry out all the relevant forms of care without direct supervision and is required to demonstrate procedures, supervise underqualified staff whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
- To be responsible for the safe use of complex scrub equipment (diathermy, laparoscopic, robotic etc). To demonstrate sound knowledge base of safe decontamination processes and practices, particularly relating to the safe decontamination of flexible scopes and sterilisation of instruments.
- Take on responsibilities for ordering stock and non-stock supplies and arranging timely servicing of this equipment, both routine and urgent.
- Support the continuing specialist professional development of all staff in Chelsea Theatres by acting as a role model and mentor, in conjunction with the specialist practice educators and Theatre sister/charge nurse.
- Provide high quality, individualised, evidence-based care to patients/clients and relatives/carers in collaboration with the multi-professional team, in line with the local and national targets.

Job summary
This Administrator post is important to the day-to-day running of both the Lymphoedema service and the wider Therapies department. The post is split between Lymphoedema administration and reception duties.
The Lymphoedema element of the role includes arranging appointments, dealing with telephone and email enquiries, managing clinical correspondence and distributing compression garments to patients. The post also provides reception cover for the Therapies service, supporting patients when they attend appointments and dealing with general enquiries.
Dedicated administrative and reception support enables therapists to focus on clinical and patient-facing work. Without this support, therapists would need to undertake more administrative and reception duties, reducing clinical capacity and potentially impacting waiting times and patient experience.
The post is required to support the continued delivery of the Lymphoedema service and provide essential reception cover for the wider Therapies department. Maintaining this administrative capacity will help the service continue to manage appointments and patient enquiries, support the clinical team and minimise further pressure on waiting lists and patient access to treatment.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide a customer focused service for all patients and visitors attending or passing through the Therapy Services Department. The post holder will be responsible for efficient and effective administrative support to the Therapy Services teams including dealing with all phone enquiries, inputting relevant data onto the Epic system and supporting the clinical teams.
Patients will be accessing various therapy treatments including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Speech & Language Therapy, Lymphoedema, Complementary Therapies and Appliances
