Job summary
This is a full-time clinical post based at The Royal Eye Unit, Kingston Hospital, to provide elective and emergency care for ophthalmology patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
There is no out of hours on-call commitment.
The post offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their clinical knowledge and skills in the management with patients with acute ophthalmology problems, cornea and cataract pathology. It would be ideally suited for a candidate who has already received basic training in cataract surgery but is not fully independent and wishes to build up their experience and surgical numbers.
The Fellowship will be primarily supervised by the Medical Retina Consultants.
Main duties of the job
The post holder would be expected to:
Regular clinical duties, based at The Royal Eye Unit, Kingston Hospital involve the management of ophthalmic outpatients which may include a community clinic close to the hospital, with support from a Retina Consultant.
Kingston hospital has regular clinics specialising in age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, uveitis, and general retinal disease
The post holder will receive training in the management of medical retinal disorders, including intravitreal injections and insertion of intravitreal steroid implants and retinal laser procedures.
The post holder will have the opportunity to attend weekly Retina Clinic at Moorfields Eye Hospital
The Fellow will be given protected theatre time to allow exposure and training in cataract surgery.
The post holder will receive training in the management of medical retinal conditions.
Provide clinical advice and where appropriate treatment.
To maintain their general ophthalmic skills, the post holder will have a regular Eye Casualty session at Kingston Hospital.
The post holder will be responsible for organising theatre lists in conjunction with the supervising consultant.
The post holder will be expected to support inpatient and ward referrals.
Help develop the service in accordance with Trust policy.
Support trainees as appropriate.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Band 7 (0.8 WTE), for a fixed term (1 Year) post working with children and teenagers who have cancer and with their families.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced multi-disciplinary medical and nursing oncology unit, where leadership, innovation, research, teaching and training are strongly encouraged. The psychology service provides a comprehensive assessment, consultation and support service both internally and externally to the Unit. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a competent individual to join the team on the Inpatient Gynaecology Unit at Arrowe Park Hospital. We are looking to recruit an exceptional and enthusiastic Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our inpatient Gynaecology team at Arrowe Park Hospital.
The Gynaecology Inpatient Unit consists of an 8 bedded inpatient ward, daycase unit, and an acute Gynaecology Assessment and Early Pregnancy Unit. The inpatient ward also supports with surgical outliers.
The successful candidate will support the nursing and medical team to provide safe care and treatment for patients during their admission to the unit. The role is rotational between the inpatient ward, day case unit and assessment areas and includes long days, weekends and night shifts.

You will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure a smooth, safe and positive journey for all of our patients.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Emergency Bed Service Coordinator to join the Paediatric and Neonatal Decision Support & Retrieval Service (PaNDR) for the East of England. This regional service delivers neonatal and paediatric critical care transfers across the East of England. You will play a crucial role within the service, coordinating emergency referrals and bed/cot locating across the region. You will act as the first point of contact for all forms of communication for the service (primarily via telephone).
Main duties of the job
Working for an emergency, 24/7 neonatal and paediatric transfer service.
To co-ordinate collection, storage and reporting of information regarding regional cot availability.
To facilitate transfers of babies to the Neonatal Intensive Care Units and Paediatric Intensive Care Units in the region.
To be the first point of contact for all referrals.
To provide admin support 24/7 (shift times are 08:00-20:00 or 20:00-08:00 and will include a variety of day, night, weekend and bank holiday shifts, distributed as equally as possible with the priority being covering the service).
This role is not patient facing and may require some lone working.

We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working staff members to work in our busy Central Booking Service (CBS) within the Children and Families Division.
The main duties for the post holder will be to provide support to the Central Booking Service and Operational Team Leader in order to provide a prompt and professional appointment booking and call management service to parents/carers/service users. The post holders will work as part of the CBS Team to ensure that calls to Health Visiting Services & School Nursing from parents are routed to the most appropriate clinicians and that patient appointments are booked with parents/carers over the telephone and also on the RIO system in line with the Central Booking Service processes.

Main duties of the job
The Central Booking Service (CBS) is often the first contact a parent/carer will have with the Children & Families Division and may be regarded as the 'shop window' for the Community Paediatric, Inclusion Services, ( Hub)Health Visiting Services/School Nursing and Educational Health and Care (EHC). The post holder will be required to provide excellent customer service to all service users ensuring that they are polite and courteous at all times.
The post holder will be responsible for the management of their own workload and will be expected to develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all services included within the Central Booking Service (CBS) which will enable them to deal with any service related queries. We are a large, well established service based in a diverse borough of London. Our service provides low and high intensity therapies at Step 2 and Step 3, alongside our Step 3 counselling service. We are looking for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who are adaptable, enjoy challenges and diversity and demonstrate an enthusiasm for primary care work. We particularly welcome applicants who speak other languages and who have enthusiasm for and experience of working with diversity.
Main duties of the job
You will be working within a stepped care model, providing assessments and delivering evidence based low intensity interventions for people with common mental health problems. Assessments and interventions may be delivered face to face, via digitals platform (Teams) or via the telephone. You would also be expected to deliver psychoeducational workshops and become involved in working within the local community and establishing links with voluntary service organisations to promote the service.
You will receive regular clinical supervision and support from a qualified therapist and work closely with other clinical practitioners within the team. The Brent Talking Therapies service has close links with other IAPT teams in CNWL, as well as, wider links with other mental health teams within Brent. We have a strong tradition of supporting staff development and further progression onto higher training.
About us
The catchment area of the post is the London borough of Brent. The main hub for the service is based at Fairfields House in Kingsbury and there is a satellite hub at Bell House in Willesden Green. You will be required to work across both hubs and in other parts of the borough, e.g. GP surgeries and community settings.
We operate an agile working policy where staff combine remote working and being on-site to deliver face-to-face appointments and other service commitments that require a hub-based presence. The post-holder will work full-time hours and may be required to work at any times between 8am and 8pm on weekdays including an evening clinic as required by the service. Wellbeing is important within our service and we are a collaborative and cohesive team. CNWL is looking to recruit a Band 4 Team administrator to join the QPP Westminster Mental Health Hub.
This is a dynamic and innovative Community service offering assessment, treatment, and care planning for individuals with mental health problems. It is a multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will be responsible for providing a full range of administrative support to the team. Job summary
An opportunity has arisen at the Florence Nightingale Hospital within the Diabetic Eye Screening Department. As a call centre supervisor, the successful candidate will work, train and mentor a small administrative team, in the larger Derbyshire Diabetic Eye Screening Programme.
The team takes between 200-300 calls per day from patients to book clinic appointments into various venues across Derbyshire. The role also consists of administrative duties to ensure patients are places into the correct pathways so that they receive the appropriate care.
They will also be responsible for creating clinics on out screening software called Optomise. The successful candidate will also be expected to support and communicate the wider team, such as managers, screener/graders, consultants, GP's and our failsafe team.
The role is based at Florence Nightingale Hospital and the hours will be Mon to Fri 1:30pm - 5pm.
Main duties of the job
- Create and update new clinics on the software based on information from team leaders in the north and south of the county.
- Cancellation and rebooking of our clinics at short notice either by contacting all relevant patients by phone or letter
- Deal with queries from GP surgeries, Ophthalmology departments and other Programme administration teams.
- Liaise with voice services when necessary to ensure the smooth running of the telephone system
- Control waiting lists for our Digital surveillance, OCT and slit lamp clinics.
- Ensure New patients are registered in a timely manner and expected to meet our key performance indicators.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a MRI Specialist development post Band 5 - Band 6. The post holder will begin at Band 5 level and be trained with full preceptorship with a view to progress to Band 6 within 18 months dependent on experience.
This is an opportunity for anyone who wishes to join our large and friendly team. We expect the post holder to already possess excellent patient care skills and be ready and willing to learn the complex modality of MRI whilst continuously learning and supporting our team.
These vacancies will allow the successful candidates to work at all of our UHDB (University hospitals of Derby and Burton) sites. This post will be based at Royal Derby Hospital Site and include rotation to Queens Hospital Burton and some / all of our CDC Sites, including Sir Robert Peel at Tamworth, Ilkeston Community Hospital and Florence Nightingale Community Hospital.
Main duties of the job
We provide MRI scans using state of the art Phillips and Siemens MRI scanners.
The post holder will join our large and friendly team, and quickly become an integral part of our expanding service. The MRI services are operational 7 days a week.
The post holder will be expected to take part in out-of-hours work including on-call.

As part of a team of accredited counter fraud specialists, the postholder will play a crucial role in helping to deliver a wide range of proactive counter fraud activity across a number of clients. Some reactive investigation activity may also be required.

We are seeking aWard Housekeeper to join our ward team at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust. The post holder will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, carers and visitors.

The Reception Supervisor role is primarily to provide supervision to the practice reception team.
The post holder will work closely with another Reception Supervisor to provide the continual improvement of standards across a wide range of clinical and administrative activity, as well as providing an element of cover or source of advice in the event of their absence.
The successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative and have some supervisory experience, along with strong IT skills. You must be organised and confident, have a friendly and approachable manner and can work under pressure.
Previous primary care experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities
The following are the core responsibilities of the Reception Supervisor. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
To provide day-to-day support, leadership, first line management and guidance for the practice reception and administration team, ensuring an efficient and professional manner is maintained and to provide cover to the reception team when needed.
Ensure all reception and administration duties are completed to the highest standard.
Support with monitoring staff attendance, sickness absence and annual leave.
To provide communications between patients, doctors and other staff.
Support with induction of all new reception and administration staff.
Ensure cover and suitable contingency plans are in place for all leave, including unforeseen absence.
Work along side another Reception Supervisor in the running of elements and/or services within the practice e.g. compliance with CQC, Health and Safety audits etc.
Review and updating of practice policies and procedures.
Work with the other Reception Supervisor and other members of the practice to identify areas for improvement and assist in change management where appropriate.
Ensure the promotion, monitoring and documentation of performance and quality outcomes targets within the practice (including QOF), and using IT systems and software.
Take responsibility for the recording of all home visit requests, ensuring that the home visiting protocol is followed.
To undertake specific assigned tasks, project support, or development work which may arise during changes to the NHS.
To introduce new policies and procedures in line with current regulations
Manage and deal with day to day needs, difficulties and requirements of the partners and other clinical staff.
To work closely with reception and clinical staff to ensure adequate cover and the smooth running of the practice, reporting any problems encountered to the relevant person.
To be a point of contact for staff and patient queries and concerns.
- The greeting of patients, dealing with their enquiries in a courteous and polite manner.
- Be point of call for dealing with patient complaints relating to front desk or reception services.
Oversee and delegate daily tasks e.g. chasing missing test results and notes, unusual queries, following through patient queries, registration difficulties

- Answering the telephone within a reasonable time, dealing with requests and enquiries courteously and politely.
