Salaried GP 6 Sessions per Week (Permanent)
Diamond Health Group is a high-performing and forward-thinking GP practice based in central Yeovil, with an additional branch surgery at Abbey Manor Park. We serve a growing and diverse population of approximately 13,500 patients and are proud to be rated Good by the CQC.
We are looking to recruit a Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive and stable clinical team on a permanent basis for 6 sessions per week, with working days to be agreed.
This role offers an excellent worklife balance, manageable workload and genuine opportunities to develop clinical interests within a well-led and inclusive practice.
Main duties of the job
As a Salaried GP, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care while being supported by experienced colleagues and effective practice systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing safe, effective and evidence-based general medical care to registered patients
- Managing a varied clinical caseload, including acute presentations and chronic disease management
- Undertaking routine and urgent consultations, both face-to-face and by telephone
- Contributing to preventative care, health promotion and population health initiatives
- Maintaining accurate, timely and confidential clinical records
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals
- Participating in clinical meetings, audit, quality improvement and practice development activities
You will work with a high degree of clinical autonomy, supported by a strong governance framework and approachable senior clinicians.

Job summary
Diamond Health Group is looking to recruit two dynamic and highly motivated Patient Care Coordinators to join our well-established team.
This is an exciting and varied role within a busy primary care environment, where no two days are the same. The successful candidates will be patient-focused, approachable and committed to providing a high standard of care, support and service to our patients.
Both positions are part-time, 20 hours per week, with flexibility around the working pattern for the successful candidates. Working arrangements will be discussed at interview and confirmed upon appointment.
There will be an expectation to work one late shift each week on a Friday, with a finish time of 6:30pm.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
Diamond Health Group provides a Community Leg Ulcer Service across Somerset, receiving referrals from local GP practices. Clinics are delivered at a range of satellite sites, currently located in Langport, Ilminster, Crewkerne, Yeovil and Wincanton.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive Community Leg Ulcer Service team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with an interest in wound care and leg ulcer management. A comprehensive training and induction programme will be provided, making this role suitable for nurses who wish to develop specialist skills in this area.
This is a fixed-term, part-time position for a period of 12 months. The successful candidate will work 21 hours per week, with working days being Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
There is potential for the role to be reviewed and extended at the end of the fixed-term period, subject to business need.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will demonstrate safe, effective clinical decision-making and work with a degree of autonomy, supported by senior clinicians and a structured training programme. Duties will include:
- Assessing and managing new patient referrals into the Community Leg Ulcer Service
- Undertaking Doppler assessments (training provided if required)
- Applying compression therapy and bandaging in line with evidence-based practice
- Managing and prioritising a clinical caseload, ensuring care is tailored to individual patient needs
- Maintaining accurate, timely and confidential clinical records
- Working collaboratively with GPs, the wider nursing team and other healthcare professionals
