Job summary
Make a Difference to the Health and Wellbeing of Care Home Residents
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to become part of our established and forward-thinking team, delivering dedicated support to care home residents and housebound patients across Bridlington.
At Drs Reddy & Nunn, we provide proactive, responsive healthcare to a population of around 42,000 patients, alongside specialist support for 24 care homes in the local area. Our highly regarded service is built on strong partnerships with care home providers, GPs, community services, and wider system colleagues - working together to deliver truly person-centred care for residents and patients with complex and often vulnerable health needs.
Full-time hours are preferred; however, we would be happy to consider part-time hours for the right applicant, with flexibility to support a positive work-life balance.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality, personalised care. As part of the Enhanced Health in Care Homes model and wider community service provision, you will help improve quality of life, prevent avoidable hospital admissions, and support individuals to live well, with dignity and independence.
Main duties of the job
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and care planning for care home residents and housebound patients with complex physical, mental health and social care needs.
The successful post holder will primarily support care homes residents and housebound patients, whilst also providing clinical support to the wider practice team through clinics and service delivery as required to meet patient demand and organisational priorities
You will act as a key clinical link between primary care, care homes, community services and wider health and social care partners, supporting proactive management of frailty, long-term conditions and urgent healthcare needs.
In addition to your care home and housebound patient responsibilities, you will provide clinical support to the practice through face-to-face, telephone and digital consultations, long-term condition management, urgent care assessment and other clinical clinics as required, helping to ensure safe, effective and responsive patient care across the practice population.
About us
Drs Reddy & Nunn is recognised for its innovative and collaborative approach to improving population health and reducing health inequalities. We offer a supportive multidisciplinary team environment, opportunities to influence and shape care home services, ongoing professional development and CPD support, and opportunities to work across the four pillars of Advanced Practice: Clinical Practice, Leadership and Management, Education, and Research.
If you are passionate about delivering compassionate care and want to be part of a supportive, innovative team making a genuine impact and want to make a real difference to care home residents - we would love to hear from you.
If you would like to discuss the opportunity, please contact Annette Maltby, Head of Strategy & Development [email protected]
Please note: Applicants who have previously applied for this position need not apply again, as previous applications will not be considered as part of this recruitment process.

We have recently brought our services together as one Practice serving the town, creating opportunities to strengthen how our teams work to support patient care.
As part of our new structure, we have created this new Rota & IT Support Administrator position. This is an opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive and confident with IT to develop within the role and contribute to establishing effective systems and processes.
The role combines clinical and room rota administration with first-line IT support, making it a varied position supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our clinical services.
You will be responsible for creating, maintaining and applying clinical rotas within SystmOne, and organising room rotas, ensuring services are accurately scheduled and appropriately resourced. You will also provide first-line IT support to Practice colleagues, helping to resolve routine IT issues and ensuring Practice equipment and systems remain operational.
Working closely with the Clinical Services Manager, you will identify rota gaps, conflicts and room allocation issues, escalating matters appropriately and communicating changes promptly.
As this is a newly created role, we are looking for someone who is keen to develop with the position, contribute ideas and help us establish effective ways of working.
Main duties of the job
Create, maintain and apply clinical and room rotas within SystmOne accurately and within agreed timescales.
Keep rotas up to date to reflect annual leave, sickness absence, study leave and other operational requirements.
Monitor rotas and identify gaps, conflicts and room allocation issues, escalating these appropriately.
Work closely with the Clinical Services Manager to support effective rota planning.
Communicate rota changes promptly and accurately to relevant colleagues.
Support the effective use of clinical rooms and Practice resources across all Practice sites.
Provide first-line IT support to Practice staff, resolving routine hardware, software and connectivity issues.
Provide support with computers, printers, telephones and other Practice IT equipment.
Assist colleagues with routine IT queries and problems, providing clear and appropriate guidance.
Liaise with external IT support providers when issues require specialist intervention and follow up outstanding issues where appropriate.
Maintain appropriate records of IT issues and support provided.
Support the implementation and maintenance of digital and administrative processes.
Identify opportunities to improve rota, IT and administrative processes and contribute to service improvements.
Undertake other reasonable duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility.
About us
We are a busy and forward-thinking GP Practice providing services across multiple sites.
Having recently brought our services together as one Practice serving the town, we are continuing to develop our teams, systems and ways of working to support our growing services and the needs of our patients.
Our recent restructure has created a number of new opportunities, alongside opportunities for internal progression and promotion. We are pleased to be developing a new team structure which supports career development, clearer roles and responsibilities, and effective ways of working across the Practice.
We recognise that our colleagues are central to the delivery of high-quality patient care. We aim to provide a supportive working environment where colleagues are valued, encouraged to contribute ideas and given opportunities to develop their skills.
