Job description
Job responsibilities
We have the exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join us at Pinetree Lodge!
- Time at 1.3 of hourly rate for after 8pm and on Saturdays
- Time at 1.6 of hourly rate for Sundays and Bank Holiday
Pinetree Lodge supports older adults with a diagnosis of dementia who, because of this organic brain disease, have behaviors that challenge which means they are unable to live in the wider community. Our team of experienced Registered Nurses & Support Workers led by Clinical Leads work closely to undertake assessments in order to provide person centered therapeutic interventions to minimize any risks associated with these behaviors.
For our dementia care services, we believe passionately in providing good care to people with dementia and their families. We also believe that it is entirely possible for a person with dementia to live a good quality and meaningful life. With the right help, this is a reasonable expectation for anybody living with dementia.
Our teams are specialists and are passionate about what they do. We specifically select our staff not just for their skills, but for their personal qualities such as warmth, optimism, and a natural desire to help others. We have high levels of qualified nursing staff available 24 hours a day, who are supported by our dedicated team of support workers, to enable our residents to:
- Keep a sense of meaning and purpose in life.
- Protect personal relationships and social networks.
- Nurture hope and self-esteem.
- Maintain independence, choice and control.
- Stay in touch with their local communities and be active citizens.
- Have a sense of stability and consistency.
Facilities-wise, our services are well-equipped to meet the physical health care needs of the people we care for, with a number of separate lounge and dining areas, fully assisted baths, and wet rooms. We work hard to keep things as homely and relaxed as possible.
Please note that this role is not eligible for sponsorship, as it does not meet the requirements set out by UK Visas and Immigration.
