Join Evolve Psychology Services and play a key role in delivering high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and adults across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a psychology graduate with experience in a clinical setting or experienced assistant psychologist looking to develop specialist skills in neurodevelopmental assessment.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will support the assessment and diagnostic process for autism and ADHD across our pathways. Duties will include gathering and analysing assessment information, undertaking school observations where needed and liaison, supporting developmental history interviews, administering and scoring psychometric measures and Qb tests, and contributing to diagnostic reports.

You will work closely with psychologists and other clinicians within a multidisciplinary team, participate in referral screening and case discussions, maintain accurate clinical records and databases, and support service improvement, audits and evaluation activities. The role requires effective communication with service users, families, schools and professionals, alongside strong organisational and report-writing skills.

We are expanding our services and opening a brand new clinic in Middlesborough, clinic location is to be confirmed. Essential

• Minimum 1 year post-registration experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people
• Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations
• Experience producing high-quality clinical reports and diagnostic formulations
• Experience delivering feedback to families in a clear and compassionate manner
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and participate in collaborative diagnostic discussions
• Experience managing a caseload and meeting clinical deadlines

• Experience delivering clinical supervision
• Experience contributing to research, training, or service development
