The geographical lay-out of the district and the number of hospital sites require most Consultants to hold out-patient clinics in one or more of the Community Hospitals in addition to the acute sites.
There is a new Postgraduate Centre at Wexham Park Hospital, which offers excellent facilities including lecture theatre, seminar rooms and the John Jamieson Library. This has a full librarian service and on-line research facilities
