We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a category B Prison located in London. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency.
Hours
Monday to Fridays: 07:30 - 17:30 Weekends & Bank Holidays: 08:30 -17:30Salary
This position is full time working 37.5 hrs per week and youll receive an annual salary up to £45,331

As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will

- Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.

Qualifications Required
- NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
- Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience

Main duties of the job
- Work in primary care and community services across multiple sites in East IHC
- Participate in structured training through the HEIW post-graduate foundation pharmacist programme, leading to RCPharm Foundation credentialing.
- Rotate across multiple departments, gaining experience in specialist and generalist clinical areas.
- Work within integrated clinical pharmacy teams to influence treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes.
- Engage in collaborative working and maintain a strong focus on patient care.
- Embrace opportunities for learning and professional growth in a dynamic healthcare environment.
