Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-thinking practice manager to join our friendly and supportive team at Greenhead Family Doctors.
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and empathetic Practice Manager to lead our day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with our two dedicated, enthusiastic GP partners to lead the day-to-day management and future development of the practice. We value the relationship with our patients and take pride in the endeavour to deliver a high standard of care.
Main duties of the job
Promote a positive, supportive and professional working environment, ensuring the Practice continues to develop and provide high quality services to patients
Working closely with partners, provide leadership and management of staff and business
Responsible for all aspects of staff management
Ensure the Practice meets its GMS contractual, NHS, CQC, governance, health and safety and regulatory requirements
Oversee patient services, including complaints, the PPG and the development and implementation of Practice policies and procedures
Oversee Practice premises and estates management, including maintenance, rent reviews, leases and premises reimbursement claims

Job summary
We are looking to appoint a Practice Manager to our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role requiring all round general management, leadership, and financial skills. Previous experience of general practice would be beneficial; however, training and support will be provided.
Ideally you will have previous experience in a management role and will have worked in a healthcare setting. Experience in HR, finance and IT would be desirable. You will use your strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure the smooth and efficient daily running of the practice.
Main duties of the job
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To manage the practices staff to ensure teams work effectively, and that the practice workforce comprises a suitable mix of skills and competence to deliver high-quality services. To take responsibility for performance management of staff and workforce planning and being flexible in doing so.

Job summary
Please note: This role is 7.5 hours per week, worked across one day, preferably on a Friday.
To be responsible for practice nurse duties and support the HCA. The post holder will ensure nursing services are delivered effectively to the entitled patient population. The practice nurse will be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as chronic disease management, health prevention, cervical smears childhood vaccination programme and travel immunisations as well as supporting the practice manager in the reviewing and delivery of clinical policy and procedure.
Main duties of the job
- To implement and evaluate individual treatment plans for chronic disease patients that promote health and well-being in conjunction with the practice HCA
- To identify, manage and support patients at risk of developing long term conditions, preventing adverse effects to patients health, in conjunction with the practice HCA
- To provide routine nursing care to patients as required in accordance with clinical based evidence, NICE and the NSF
- To diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- To prescribe medication for patients in accordance with PGDs and own scope of practice
- To provide guidance to patients in the use of prescribed and over-the-counter medications regarding side effects and dosages
- To co-ordinate the provision of travel medicine services
- To request/ process pathology services & results as necessary
- To oversee the provision of chronic disease clinics, delivering patient care as necessary, referring patients to secondary/specialist care as required
- To maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with extant legislation
- To ensure the appropriate maintenance and use of chronic disease registers
- To implement vaccination programmes for adults and children
- To liaise with external services/agencies to ensure the patient is supported appropriately (vulnerable patients etc.)
- Develop, review and implement nursing protocols in conjunction with the partners
