We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive GP Assistant to join our friendly and busy GP Practice.

General Practice Assistants form part of a multi-disciplinary team within primary care, and provide a support role, carrying out administrative tasks, combined with basic clinical duties, helping to free up GPs time and contribute to the smooth running of appointments and improving patients' experience.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and organisation skills, and have the ability to work as part of an integrated multi-skilled team, within a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is essential along with being an effective team player.

Main duties of the job

• Filtering all clinical documents and prioritising for the GP in terms of actions. Signposting some post to others such as clinical pharmacist etc.
• Filtering on-line consultations to ensure the patient sees the right clinician at the right time.
• Extracting all information from clinical letters that needs coding and adding to notes.
• Arranging appointments, referrals, tests and follow up appointments of patients.
• Preparing patients prior to going in to see the GP, taking a brief history and basic readings in readiness for GP appointment.
• Dipping urine, taking blood pressure, ECGs & Phlebotomy.
• Completing basic (non-opinion) forms and core elements of some forms for the GP to approve and sign such as insurance forms, mortgage, benefits agency forms etc GPA Competency Framework 2.
• Explaining treatment procedure to patients
• Helping the GP liaise with outside agencies e.g. getting an on call doctor on the phone to ask advice of arrange admission while the GP can continue with their consultation(s).
• Support the GP with immunisations/wound care.

Our Community team work in patients homes, linking closely with the GP practices in Mid Hampshire, covering week days only at present. Our community teams are based in Winchester City, Colden Common and Andover. This post will cover either Andover or Winchester and the surrounding rural areas providing rehabilitation for both integrated intermediate care and long term conditions.

We are seeking an enthusiastic clinician who has specialist interest and experience in working psychologically with trauma. We now have an exciting opportunity for a fitness instructor to join the team . We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, resourceful, and resilient individual who is committed to providing support and assistance to patients in their recovery whilst an inpatient

As a fitness instructor, you will be part of the OT team supporting the team by offering a variety of fitness activities to the patients, under the guidance and support of the Occupational Therapists. The role will involve running a mixture of group and 1 to 1 sessions. This post is part time 18.75 hours a week. The hours will include working some weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

The successful post holder will need excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with staff, service users and all stake holders. We are looking for a highly motivated, approachable, and tactful Ward Clerk for our Cedar Ward based at Petersfield Hospital.

CAMHS is seeking to appoint an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic Single Point of Access (SPA) Team. We are recruiting for a full time Senior Physiotherapist to join our friendly and hardworking team on the Isle of Wight

This role requires flexible and innovative Physiotherapists to work within a Multidisciplinary Community Rehabilitation Team. You will be asked to support the development of staff and support a step by step implementation of 7 day a week working. These and other transformations will promote greater accessibility to rehabilitation for the population of the Isle of Wight.

You will help increase function and promote independence through a range of therapeutic interventions in a variety of settings including in a person's home, a clinic setting or in a Community Rehabilitation Bed. Independently perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations, complex physical and psychological conditions, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.

You will hold responsibility for your own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, working without direct supervision. Supervision taking the form of regular formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, case conferences. Access to advice and support from colleagues will be available if required.

Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.

Undertake evidence-based audit and research projects to further own and team's clinical practice within each rotation. Make recommendations to Team Lead/Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist for changes to practice.

Snowdrop Ward is a modern newly refurbished 14 bedded ward based at Melbury lodge in Winchester which provides assessment & nursing care for older persons with acute mental health difficulties. We are committed to providing an exceptional standard of treatment & patient centred care for our service users in a safe, cooperative & therapeutic environment.

Serenity Path provide support and treatment for young people aged 12-18 in Winchester, experiencing acute mental illness, such as depression and psychotic disorders whilst also specialising in supporting those with anorexia nervosa.

We provide In-house training, including programmes around Attachment and Trauma, Eating Disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

We also benefit from being part of a portfolio of 3 CAMHS hospitals with a robust culture of collaboration, learning from events, and sharing innovation and best practice.

Our multi-disciplinary team includes Medics, Nurses, Therapists & Therapy technicians, Pharmacists & Pharmacy technicians, Health care support workers, Recovery workers & Social workers all working to provide the best possible care & aid people in their recovery.

We are currently looking for a band 3 Health care support worker to join our established & supportive multi-disciplinary team. If you are highly motivated, enthusiastic, flexible & resourceful with a commitment to providing support and assistance to people in their recovery we want to meet you!

The post will involve supporting the qualified Nurses in providing effective mental & physical health care for older people. Previous experience of working within a care environment or the NHS is desirable but not essential as you will be supported in learning in the role.
