Job summary
Come and join our friendly and dedicated team as a phlebotomist. We are looking for someone who has completed a recognised Venepuncture course and can provide 20-30 hours a week of phlebotomy.
You should have at least 6 months experience of working in the role as a Phlebotomist or as part of another healthcare role.
If you are passionate about patient care and enjoy working in a supportive environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
You will be working as part of a supportive team delivering services from our purpose-built site in the centre of Hereford, with guidance from a dedicated team leader.
There are opportunities to work flexibly around family commitments and childcare, as we provide evening and Saturday services.

Main duties of the job
As a Phlebotomist within our Team, you will carry out high quality venepuncture to support patient care across our sites. Your duties will include taking blood samples in line with clinical guidelines, correctly labelling and preparing specimens, ensuring timely dispatch to laboratories, and accurately recording all procedures. You will help put patients at ease, report any concerns to clinical staff, and work closely with the wider team to maintain safe, clean, and professional clinical environments.

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse looking to develop your career in General Practice?
We are looking for 2 x Trainee Practice Nurses to join our friendly and supportive Practice Nurse Team, working 30-37.5 hours weekly. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is two years post qualification and is looking to develop skills and experience within Primary Care.
You will be clinically supervised by our experienced Lead Practice Nurses, and managed by our Clinical Services Manager, with a structured training plan as you develop your skills.
Initially you will undertake some formal training in either Diabetes or Asthma, alongside learning the wider aspects of Practice Nursing. You will gradually develop your knowledge and confidence to deliver high quality general medical services to our patient population.
We are looking for someone who
- has two years post qualification experience
- Is enthusiastic to learn

- Able to develop the confidence to work alone, but equally comfortable working collaboratively
