We have a vacancy for a Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner based in South West Hertfordshire (Watford).
Join us in continuing to deliver our effective primary care mental health services!
This role is in line with the 10 Year Plan for Mental Health and recognises that by placing specialist mental health staff in GP practices, promoting recovery focused early assessment and treatment will help the service user achieve the best outcomes.
You will join a team of Band 6 mental health practitioners who are based within the primary care setting. They will be supported by Band 7 ARRS workers and the Service Manager/Clinical Matron.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will
- be a qualified mental health nurse
- provide assessments and brief interventions
- be prepared to work in-person and remotely
- work alongside various professional groups including GPs, other primary care professionals and wider community agencies
- have knowledge and experience of working with individuals with mental health needs
- undertake assessments of individuals and their families within primary care including the assessment of risk in order to consider access or re-access to secondary mental health services
- be a core member of primary care teams within a defined area, using specialist mental health knowledge
- develop links and foster a culture of partnership between Primary Care Teams and HPFT Adult Mental Health Services.

Main duties of the job
As a specialist services, PATH provides comprehensive assessment and intervention for individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Psychological therapists play a central role within multidisciplinary team, contributing specialist expertise to formulation, treatment planning and service development.
The successful applicant will:
- Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, including CBT, in line with NICE guidance.
- Contribute to comprehensive assessments, including the use of psychometric measures where appropriate.
- Support multidisciplinary colleagues through psychological formulation, consultation and collaborative care planning.
- Play an active role in the continued development of psychologically informed practice across the service.

CYPMHS South Hertfordshire is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated CYP Practitioner with an appropriate professional qualification and relevant experience to join our multi-disciplinary team.

We are delighted to advertise this exciting post for a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist in the North Essex Learning Disability Specialist Health Services, with a focus on the Mid-West Community Team. This is a part time (0.6 WTE) post based in Braintree, Essex, with some opportunities for remote working. We are looking for a motivated individual, who is enthusiastic about working with people who have learning disabilities and their networks of care and who will enjoy the many opportunities to contribute to, and learn from a large group of psychologist with expertise in various areas. Job summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Support Worker, at Band 4 to work within our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Crisis, Assessment & Treatment Team via a Bank Contract, based in Radlett. You will be joining our Temporary Staffing Team within HPFT - Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will assist in the supportive interventions for young people who are experiencing a crisis. They will also provide support, guidance and psycho education to care givers as part of an 'empowering parents' approach. The support worker will provide this care under the direction of the Children Crisis Assessment & Treatment Team (C-CATT) Multidisciplinary Team (MDT). Due to the nature of the role, the support worker will regularly work alone without direct supervision for part of the span of duty and will be required to travel across the county to see young people and families in the community.
HPFT provides services for service users with mental health, learning disability and children's and adolescent mental health problems. Applicants should have some experience of working in a healthcare setting.HPFT has a range of healthcare settings across the County and therefore access to a car would be beneficial unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010 which prevents you from driving
Main duties of the job
Update the C-CATT crisis coordinator and MDT of the young person's progress and observations of changes in their mental health and ensure these changes are documented on the electronic record
Regularly meet with supervisor and/or line manager to ensure the post holder is supported to carry out the demands of the post
Ensure that all care services provided are offered without prejudice regardless of age, creed, gender and ethnicity
Be aware of diverse cultural and ethnic needs and facilitate appropriate support and care

Job summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Community Mental Health Nurse, at Band 6 to work via a Bank Contract, based in Watford for our Community Adult Mental Health Team. You will be joining our Temporary Staffing Team within HPFT - Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder is required to take responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programs of care, and the setting of standards of care and management for a defined caseload of people with complex mental health and or social care needs. Main duties of the job

Due to career progression, a band 5 to 6 Occupational Therapy development opportunity has arisen within the Hertfordshire Specialist Learning Disability Service. In this rare opportunity, we are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated OT to join our dedicated, specialist and forward-thinking MDT where you will be working collaboratively to improve the lives, independence and wellbeing of people with a learning disability.
