Job summary
The post holder will provide clinical pharmacy support and liaise between wards, departments and pharmacy to ensure that pharmacy services are tailored to meet the Care Group's needs wherever possible. The post holder will work as part of a dedicated pharmacy team to lead, provide and develop specialist pharmacy services to education and training. The post holder will act as an academic link providing academic teaching and professional role modelling to undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students at KCL.
Main duties of the job

A sought after opportunity has arisen for a Senior Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy Department at Addenbrooke's Hospital on a fixed term or secondment until July 2026
We are looking for an innovative team player to join the rotational programme which covers a wide variety of clinical areas - Oncology, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Older Person's Care, Medical, Neurosciences, Stroke and Rehab, Major Trauma, Rheumatology and Pain, Hand Therapy and Critical Care.
You will be an experienced Occupational Therapist with good communication and clinical skills and an interest in developing service improvement projects.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to effectively and creatively carry a full case load without direct supervision whilst developing supervisory and project / service delivery skills.
You will have responsibilities for student and junior staff education as well as opportunities to support the Team Lead in delivering the service.
Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, Division and Occupational Therapy department you will have many opportunities to develop and increase both knowledge and skills.

Band 3 Specialist Rehabilitation and Mobility Centre Administrator 26 hours per week, up to 12 Months Fixed Term - Maternity Leave Cover
The post holder will act as a Specialist Rehabilitation and Mobility Centre Administrator to facilitate the provision of wheelchairs and associated equipment to service users throughout North Cumbria. They will communicate effectively with all service users and colleagues, and by following departmental guidelines and standards ensure an efficient and effective service is provided.
Main duties of the job
To work cohesively with the admin and clinical team within Wheelchair Services, to undertake the following:
- dealing with patients on the telephone and face to face, fielding all enquiries and communicating timescales, using empathy and compassion at all times
- booking clinical appointments for a variety of different wheelchair clinics, including on-site and domiciliary visits and MDT work
- ordering equipment on procurement system and tracking equipment to alert clinician when ready for handover. This regularly involves communicating and negotiating with suppliers
- liaising with approved repairer (based in Carlisle) to ensure stock levels are adequate and all appropriate equipment received has been had a pre-delivery inspection undertaken and registered as ready for handover
- clinic planning alongside clinical lead ensuring patients are seen in a timely manner, allocating of patients to the appropriate clinic type and ensuring identified and tracked equipment is delivered to the correct location
- taking delivery, unpacking, labelling up and storing wheelchair accessories in on-site wheelchair store room
- processing wheelchair referrals
- providing reception cover for the Centre, as part of a rota in the event of reception team being absent

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic band 5 Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Physiologist to join our friendly multidisciplinary team, working 36 hours per week (0.96 WTE). The post holder will contribute to the delivery of respiratory physiology testing within the Children's Hospital, as well as a high-quality sleep study service. It is essential that the successful applicant has previous experience of lung function testing, preferably with sleep physiology experience also. It is essential to have a good science background with a BSc in Healthcare Science or equivalent. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and a strong desire to continue a career in respiratory physiology are essential.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for contributing to an efficient & high-quality service in the field of Paediatric Respiratory Physiology & Sleep Medicine, & for providing the very best care for patients during their inpatient stay or outpatient visit.
- Undertaking a range of standard lung function investigations with inpatients & outpatients (spirometry, FeNO, nasal NO & bronchodilator response assessments), gaining accurate & clinically valuable measurements.
- Performing more complex lung function investigations (multiple breath washout, lung volumes & gas transfer) in line with service development.
- Facilitating the provision of sleep study investigations for inpatients & home sleep studies (overnight oximetry, overnight carbon dioxide monitoring and respiratory polygraphy), ensuring high quality data is captured.
- Performing analysis & reporting of sleep studies, following departmental & international standards.
- Maintaining equipment to ensure that it is functioning to agreed standards & specifications.
- Training and supporting junior staff, & participating in teaching & research activities within the department.

Patient Services Clerk - Clatterbridge Liverpool -Monday to Friday shifts
The Patient Services Clerk has a varied role which spans a number of different work areas. The tasks below describe the type of duties appropriate for the role, however, depending on where the post holder is placed, not all of the tasks may be carried out and there may be additional duties specific to that work area expected and within the remit of the role.
Main duties of the job
The Administrative Services Department is offering an opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team as a Patient Services Clerk. You provide a professional, friendly and effective reception service directly to patients and relatives. Liaise with volunteer staff to ensure that visitors are escorted and supported.
As a Patient Services Clerk within the Admin Services Team you will play a key role in supporting patients during there attendance to all appointments and will also provide administrative support to the clinical teams.Our work is complex, interesting, specialised and driven by tight deadlines. As such, it is essential that you have good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure. A comprehensive induction programme provides new staff with the basic framework they need to undertake their role but is essential that you have previous office experience ideally in an NHS environment.You will have a good standard of education including English and Maths, excellent computer skills and experience of competently handling virtual appointments and telephone enquiries.We have a Department Team Charter which encourages a fair, positive and pleasant working environment and we are looking for the right people to contribute to our team.
