Were excited to offer two receptionist administrator opportunities to join our friendly team. Both roles are 37 hours and 30 minutes, working Monday to Friday.
As part of our busy practice, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care by providing efficient and compassionate administrative support and care navigation. Main duties of the job
The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by members of the administration team may include any or all the items in the following list. Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the Operations /Practice Business Manager, dependent on current and evolving Practice workload and staffing levels:
- Maintaining and monitoring the Practice appointments system on SystmOne.
- Processing personal and telephone requests for appointments, visits and telephone consultations and ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Taking messages and passing on information
- Filing/Scanning and retrieving paperwork
- Processing repeat prescriptions in accordance with Practice guidelines
- Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with Practice procedures
- Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients, other team members and associated healthcare agencies and providers
- Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms as required
- Providing clerical assistance as required including word/data processing, filing, photocopying and scanning
- Monitoring of stationery/clinical room and other supplies
- Accepting and documenting samples from patients
- Supporting when patients or clinical staff request a chaperone
- Assisting with spot cleaning of the premises as and when required
- Ensuring building security, closing doors, windows and shutters at the end of the day.

Situated in the heart of Richmond, Sheffield, we are a dynamic 4 partner surgery with a patient list size of 9,700. Our practice falls within the boundary of South Yorkshire ICB and we are part of the collaborative 2 Townships PCN which consists of 5 practices.
We are a patient centric practice with a family orientated approach and are keen advocates of Greener Practice credentials. Rated Good by the CQC, we are a patient-focused, high-performing practice, consistently achieving strong results in QOF.
Our multidisciplinary team includes 5 salaried GPs, 4 practice nurses, 3 healthcare assistants, as well as an experienced administrative and reception team. Our ARRs roles include a physiotherapist, social prescribers, an occupational therapist, HCA and pharmacists.
As an accredited training practice, we provide education for GP trainees. Our team of Partners are experienced trainers committed to mentoring the next generation of clinicians.

The role will involve delivering the Confident Communicators Programme - a Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) programme of support for children aged 4-6 years attending mainstream schools.
You will work closely with other professionals as part of the programme, including a specialist SLCN teacher, and a team of teaching assistants as well as parents/carers and school staff to enable children to develop their speech, language and communication skills and to access the curriculum.
The post holder will:
- Provide advice to others regarding the management and care of children with communication difficulties.
- Be accountable for own professional actions and recognise own professional boundaries, seeking advice from senior colleagues as appropriate.
- Provide some day-to-day supervision and peer review support to less experienced colleagues and students, including second opinions when necessary.
- Run appropriate training independently for school and other staff.

Main duties of the job
Key duties include:
- To assess the need for, develop and implement Speech and Language Therapy treatment to children with a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties.
- To analyse auditory, visual and kinaesthetic aspects of children's communication and to identify appropriate strategies to facilitate and enhance communicative effectiveness in the home, school and other relevant settings.
- To make appropriate clinical decisions following assessment, using evidence-based practice and outcome measurement to provide the most effective treatment to children and their families within clearly defined care plan.
- To make a differential diagnosis on the basis of evidence from assessment.
- To demonstrate clinical effectiveness by use of evidence-based practice and outcome measures relevant to the field, in particular in the field(s) of specialisation.

Job summary
We are looking for an Estates Operations Officer (Mechanical) to join the Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Ltd estates team to manage key mechanical disciplines for the operational estates service provided to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and external clients. You will need to demonstrate strong team working skills; have extensive experience of working in an Estates/FM environment (ideally in the Public Sector) and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

This post is to support our large and specialist paediatric unit based here at Northampton General Hospital. Main duties of the job

Provide a paediatric service within Ophthalmology but it is also important that the appointee is also a capable general ophthalmologist able to undertake a general service provision
Proficiency in cataract surgery and a commitment to training is essential
On-call for Paeds is 24/7 and the current requirement is contact via phone/text/email and is usually only within office hours
Responsibility for the patients in his/her care and for the proper functioning of the department
Carry out teaching duties as required and take an active part in the Postgraduate Medical Education programme and in the teaching of Ophthalmic Trainees within the department
Contribute to the teaching and training of nursing staff and other healthcare professionals both within the department and elsewhere within the Trust as appropriate

Main duties of the job
We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join the Clinical Blood Sciences team. The successful candidate will work primarily within Automated Biochemistry, with opportunities to work across other specialist areas of Clinical Biochemistry following appropriate training and competency assessment.
The successful candidate will play an important role throughout the analytical pathway, including sample processing, operation and maintenance of complex automated laboratory equipment, quality control, calibration, troubleshooting, analysis, validation and authorisation of patient results.
You will be expected to demonstrate sound scientific and technical knowledge, recognise and investigate analytical problems, take appropriate corrective action and escalate issues when necessary. You will also contribute to maintaining high standards of quality, patient safety and compliance with laboratory procedures and accreditation requirements.

Job summary
Leeds and York Forensic Services provide Low Secure Inpatient Services based at two sites within Leeds & York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (Clifton House, York and Newsam Centre, Leeds). The Forensic Service provides a high quality assessment, treatment and recovery service for people who represent a risk to others due to their mental disorder and are in need of either inpatient management, or support from a specialized community team. There are male acute and rehabilitation wards on each site and each site has a female ward. Each service focuses on patients who suffer with primary diagnosis of mental illness. Many have comorbid substance misuse and some may have comorbid personality disorder, autism spectrum disorder, or mild learning difficulties.
The postholder will provide medical RC responsibility for ward 2 which is an 11 bedded female ward. All patients are detained under the MHA. There is a community case load of about 15 female patients who are care coordinated by the forensic outreach team. Access assessments to the inpatient service and risk advice and management reports are conducted on behalf of the secure provider collaborative on an approximately 1-2 times per monthly basis. Referrals are received from medium security, prisons and acute mental health services within the West Yorkshire Secure Provider Collaborative footprint. Therefore the post holder will be required to travel to other hospitals and prisons.
Main duties of the job
Leeds Partnerships NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint an 8 PA Consultant Psychiatristin the Leeds Low Secure Female Service based at the Newsam Centre.
Duties will be in line with those of an Approved / Responsible Clinician for low secure patients with complex needs. There will be a requirement for significant liaison with other services and agencies including MAPPA, police, courts, probation etc and support with advice and opinion to general adult colleagues who may seek consultation for patients presenting with particular risks in acute services.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be closely assisted and supported by the Key Lead Professionals within the Multi-Disciplinary Team [MDT] and led by the MDT discussions, they will ensure the patient has an excellent hospital experience throughout their journey until discharge.
They will be expected to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, carers, members of the MDT and external agencies.
They will receive and provide complex and sensitive information, and due to the patient groups they are dealing with, multi stranded discussions due to patient co-morbidities. There may be barriers to communication in these discussions.
They will liaise with wards and ensure the discharge list is up to date and ready for the following morning.
They will assist in the promotion of effective communication with all ward staff and other departments in relation to their role.
The post holder will have knowledge of the health and well-being of the patients in these settings and an awareness of the service. They will be educated to NVQ Level 3 plus training and experience in a Healthcare setting, Diploma level in a Healthcare setting or have the equivalent of this knowledge gained through training and experience.

Our mission is to provide an open and honest, holistic, collaborative, specialist tissue viability service that facilitates the highest quality, evidence-based care, which keeps our patients at the heart of everything we do.
You will be based at either Fort Southwick (PO17 6AR) or St Marys Community Health Campus (PO3 6AD), covering the Portsmouth and Southeast Hampshire area. There may be occasions where you are asked to travel further within Hampshire to support service delivery or attend meetings.
Our role is to support health care professionals in clinical practice by providing teaching, information and specialist advice on tissue viability.

* To work within the Tissue Viability Specialist Team across a designated geographical area and support the delivery of specialist care, advice and education to a range of staff.

* To provide support to Integrated Community Care Teams, GP practices and other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team in ensuring the delivery of evidence based, high quality tissue viability care to patients.
* To work in clinic settings, patients' homes, GP surgeries and in residential care settings to support general clinical staff in providing tissue viability care
* To participate in the investigation process related to pressure ulcer incidence and provide expert input in the SI process.
* To act as a role model and expert in the prevention, treatment and care of tissue viability conditions
* Responsible for providing structured, formal and informal education through a variety of media including clinical coaching, formal teaching sessions and role modelling in all aspects of evidence-based tissue viability care.

Main duties of the job

Working closely with senior nursing, midwifery, workforce, HR and finance leaders, the post holder reviews staffing performance, develops and implements safe staffing policies and escalation processes, supports compliance with CQC staffing requirements, and drives continuous quality improvement. An opportunity has arisen for a receptionist/administrator to join our friendly, forward thinking GP Practice in Burton on Trent. We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated person to join our reception and administration team.

We are looking to recruit a part time Practice Manager to work 32 hours per week, over 4 days a week Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Main duties of the job
The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the organisation and for maintaining the performance of our already effective and efficient team. You will provide positive leadership and role modelling through your understanding of Human Resources, strategic planning, and finance.
