Main duties of the job

This is a dynamic, patient-facing Clinical Pharmacist role, focused on delivering evidence-based pharmaceutical care in Primary Care. You will use your expert knowledge of medicines to support patients with specific disease areas and long-term conditions.
Key responsibilities include:

Job summary
As a Domestic Assistant you will be responsible for keeping wards, offices, and public areas clean to a high standard. You will work as part of the domestic service team, as well as part of the wider community within the hospital setting.

Hours available: Monday to Friday (15hrs) 7:00-10:00
Entry Requirements - There is no entry requirement to become a Domestic Assistant, however you maybe required to complete NVQ Level 1 in cleaning.
Training - When you start as a domestic you will attend an induction and all relevant training will be given.
Communication skills - You will need good communication skills as well as caring and sensitive nature.
Physical Fitness - There is a physical component to working as a domestic assistant as you may be on your feet for long periods of time. A combination of physical fitness and knowledge of proper lifting and manual handling techniques allows you to properly perform the full range of your duties.
Main duties of the job
Domestic Assistants are responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleaning in line with infection prevention.
You will work from a daily/weekly schedule in both clinical and none-clinical areas, making sure that the hospital is clean, and that patients have a pleasant and safe stay.
As a Domestic Assistant you`re likely to perform a range of duties that include:
- Cleaning patients or service user's room/ward
- Cleaning toilets and bathroom areas
- Cleaning communal areas, such as lounges, dining areas and corridors
- Clean utility room
- Carry out deep-cleaning operations in certain areas.
- Use the most appropriate cleaning equipment for the task, this may include vacuum cleaner, mops, or electric floor cleaner.
- Using cleaning products and other chemicals safely and effectively
- Keep up to date with safety procedures for example, fire procedures and escape routes and undertake appropriate workplace training.

- Ensure infection control policies are adhered to

As a Specialist Clinical Practitioner, working in the MAS West, you will be based at Maiden Castle Dorchester and covering the Weymouth, Portland and Bridport area. This will be a mixture of clinic settings and home visits and working from home is an essential part of the role. You will be providing specialist care and interventions, assessments, treatments, and managing patients on a caseload, with a focus on providing a high-quality person-centred approach to care delivery which always considers people's safety, privacy and dignity.
The role will allow you to actively participate in developing high-quality and innovative services that aim to identify, diagnose and support people in the community with early dementia, involving service users and carers.
There are two part -time positions, one for 30 hours per week and the other for 22.5 hours a week between Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, but you may be required to work flexibly to meet service needs. Please indicate which post you are applying for.

Main duties of the job
You will have a key role in performing Initial Assessments with formal Cognitive Testing and this is the first part of a process leading to a possible diagnosis of a Dementia.
You will offer clinic and home-based assessments as well as NHS video consultation and phone assessments. You will be highly skilled in communicating clearly and sensitively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and their carers, discussing diagnoses, treatment options and care plans.
You will work closely with health, medical and psychology colleagues, in line with NICE guidance, as part of medicines trials in the monitoring of Anticholinesterase drugs such as Donepezil, Galantamine and Rivastigmine as well as Memantine. You will liaise with colleagues within the wider Dementia services, primary care, community health and social care services, voluntary sector organisations and the wider mental health teams for older adult services as appropriate.
You will need to have a valid driving licence and use of a car as you will be required to assess and monitor patients in their own homes and within other community settings.
You will be expected to deliver person-centred care whilst meeting local and national targets set by the NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS England in relation to dementia.

DWM is a well-established, high-performing partnership between Dorset Healthcare Trust and Dorset Mental Health Forum. We are seeking motivated specialists to support people with mental health conditions into sustainable employment, working closely with NHS teams, employers and partner organisations. You will build trusting relationships and provide practical, tailored support to help individuals achieve their employment goals, with much of the work being delivered in the community.
Employment in this post requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
Driving is essential for this role. You will be required to have a full and valid UK driving licence and to travel using your own vehicle on Trust business.
Main duties of the job
To undertake weekly face-to-face engagement with local employers to proactively generate tailored job opportunities, including job carving, in line with IPS principles.
Work collaboratively with clients to identify employment goals, develop CVs and application forms, and prepare effectively for interviews.
Support clients in discussing their mental health condition with potential employers, should they choose to disclose.
Provide welfare benefits advice and calculations to help clients make informed employment decisions.
Deliver ongoing in-work support to both clients and employers, ensuring sustainable employment outcomes.
Adhere to the quality standards and compliance requirements of the IPS Fidelity Model, striving to meet or exceed the service's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in line with Service and IPS Fidelity Model requirements.
Perform a high volume of administrative duties with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting, documentation, and data entry.

Job summary
This is an exciting 1- year secondment/ fixed term opportunity for an Emotional Health and Wellbeing Practitioner to join a flexible and friendly team working with children and young people in care to fulfil the Trusts responsibility to improve the outcomes for Children in Care and Care Leavers.
The job will involve supporting the emotional needs of the children liaising closely with Social Workers, CAMHS and the CIC Health team.
This roles is for an experienced practitioner from either healthcare or social care that have experience in working with children and young people therapeutically. They must have a specialist interest in Children in Care and attachment and trauma. The practitioner would need to have the skills to work with children who have highly complex needs and be flexible in their approach. The job will entail delivering brief evidence based interventions for the CIC cohort after a referral has been made into the service.
This is a temporary role of 37.5 hours a week, primarily based in BCP area. You will be supported by the Service Lead, Clinical Lead/Psychologist and Named Nurse for Children in Care, and Specialist CAMHS CAP team with opportunities for supervision, training and development.

Are you a trained Mental Health Nurse, with a special interest in older person's mental health.
The Bridport CMHT-OP is looking for the right person to join this well-established, supportive team.
We offer regular caseload supervision and team reflective practice. We provide recovery focused treatment plans for those people who are 65 and over with severe mental illness or who have organic mental ill health.
You will manage a caseload of patients with a mixture of functional and organic disorders and provide a comprehensive, accessible and responsive mental health service to patients and their families.
This role is a 30 hour a week position working, within the service hours of Monday to Friday 9 to 5 covering the Bridport Locality, based at Bridport Community Hospital and the candidate will need to have a valid driving licence and use of a car to travel to assess and monitor patients in their own homes and within other community or inpatient settings.

Main duties of the job
You will have recent experience of working in a mental health environment and be able to apply the philosophies of engagement and recovery in your work with service users and have an awareness of the Mental Health Act.
As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will contribute to effective multi-disciplinary working within the community mental health service and build up effective liaison with community, primary, and other secondary and tertiary services/agencies within the locality to provide holistic care based on the individual's need and service development.
You will communicate effectively in verbal and written form in the exchange of highly complex, sensitive or contentious information in difficult situations using de-escalation, mediation, resolution and professional Duty of Candour.
You will evaluate care, taking appropriate action leading to improvement in quality standards through clinical audit.

Job summary
We are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist to join the Tier 4 day service in Dorset. This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing service that is already showing promise in supporting young people with moderate to severe eating disorders outside of a hospital setting. The role will offer the opportunity to contribute to shaping and developing the day service for young people with eating disorders, as well as supporting those with other mental health difficulties who may benefit from a day service provision as an alternative to hospital admission.
The post is offered as a secondment / fixed-term until 30th September 2027.
This role is central to the delivery of intensive, community-based support aimed at preventing hospital admission. The service combines multi-family group therapy sessions with targeted home-based interventions provided by our Closer2Home team. This innovative approach enables young people and their families to translate therapeutic learning into real-world changes in their home environment.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist with experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and/or eating disorders. The successful candidate will bring strong clinical skills, flexibility, and a passion for working collaboratively with families. Experience in delivering structured therapeutic interventions and working within a multi-disciplinary team will be key to this role.
Main duties of the job
To provide specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions to children and young people at the day service.
Deliver individual and group-based therapeutic programmes.
Complete risk assessments and contribute to risk management planning.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, person-centred care. Liaising with families, carers and partner agencies to support positive outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome measures. Supporting service development, supervision and training activities.

We are looking for a registered nurse who has significant experience working with children and young people, particularly those who have experienced trauma, adversity or significant vulnerability. Whilst a SCPHN qualification is welcomed, this is not essential, you just need to demonstrate relevant experience and skills that are required for this role.
You will need to be resilient, compassionate and confident in managing a complex caseload, working collaboratively with children, young people, carers and a wide range of professionals. A trauma-attuned approach is essential, alongside the ability to recognise and respond to the often complex physical, emotional and wider health needs of Children in Care.

Main duties of the job
To have excellent communication skills with children between the ages of 5-18 to conduct statutory Children in Care Review Health Assessments which includes the developmental and emotional wellbeing of Children in Care in accordance with national and local guidance and policy. To contribute to the implementation of healthcare plans following the identification of health need.
Take appropriate action when further support, advice or intervention is needed in relation to health needs, signposting and referring to other services where necessary.

The Consultant Gastroenterologist will share responsibility for the delivery of a comprehensive gastroenterology service with consultant colleagues, including providing mutual cover for out-of-hours duties and leave. The role includes offering expert consultation and advisory support to colleagues across other specialties, working collaboratively through multidisciplinary meetings, and contributing to postgraduate education within the Trust. The post holder will play an active role in teaching, audit, research, clinical governance, and continuing professional development in line with Royal College of Physicians requirements. They will contribute to the effective management and development of the service, with opportunities to undertake leadership roles, and will work in accordance with the agreed consultant job plan, deploying flexible professional time to support emergency care, liaison activities, education, audit, and service improvement.

Our unique, integrated acute/community Nutrition and Dietetic Department is searching for a Rotational Band 5 Dietitian to join our team in Buckinghamshire, including the National Spinal Injuries Centre and the regional Burns Centre. We offer excellent learning and support through preceptorship, clinical supervision, peer learning and CPD, including supporting B & C student placements. Our team of over 40 members of staff is based at 4 sites across the county with great secretarial and IT support.
We have a full-time post ideal for the newly qualified Dietitian or someone with experience looking to enhance knowledge and skills. We offer 8-month rotations across the Trust in 4 areas:
- Amersham Hospital: A community-based rotation covering rehab wards, GP clinics, home visits and a small home enteral feeding caseload.
- Stoke Mandeville Hospital: Medicine - with a focus on endocrinology, gastroenterology, haematology, and respiratory medicine.
- Stoke Mandeville Hospital: Surgery -with a focus on emergency surgery, Obs. & Gynae, ophthalmic, orthopaedic & plastic surgery and urology. This rotation also includes a general out-patient clinic

Job summary
At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
In relation to Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker roles, we are currently able to recruit successfully from the domestic labour market and have a sufficient pool of suitably qualified and appointable candidates. As a result, visa sponsorship is not available for this role at this time. This position is kept under regular review and may change in the future should labour market conditions or service requirements alter.

Main duties of the job
The primary role of a Senior Clinical Support Worker is to assist, support and work in collaboration with the Registered Nurse and the wider multidisciplinary team; in order to provide a safe and holistic approach to person-centred care.
The Senior Clinical Support Worker should actively contribute to the health and well-being of patients, staff and service users and be able to communicate effectively with sensitivity and compassion. They should be able to work independently within their sphere of nursing while under the supervision of registered nurses. Senior Clinical Support Workers should demonstrate a level of skill and understanding which enables them to undertake specific skills and tasks delegated by the registered nurse and in accordance with relevant procedures, guidelines and policies at UHNM. They will be required to undertake both routine and specially identified tasks for which they have been trained and assessed as competent.
Key to this role is flexibility with the requirement for staff to work variable shifts over 5 days a week
