We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Practitioner Psychologist to join our Neurodevelopmental Pathway (Autism Assessment Service) specialist psychology service. The role will involve assessing children presenting with neurodevelopmental needs across all sectors of care within the Birmingham catchment area.
The post holder will be part of the multidisciplinary team in the Neurodevelopmental Hubs and liaise closely with colleagues in education.
They will also supervise and support the psychological assessments and therapy provided by other psychologists and others who provide psychologically based care and treatment.
They will support a culture of research and utilise research skills for audit, policy and service developments and propose and implement policy changes within the Service and the broader multidisciplinary team. They will also be highly visible and, accessible and a figure to whom staff, patients and their families, can turn to for assistance, advice and support.
Main duties of the job
1. To provide specialist psychological assessment of children based upon theappropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex psychological datafrom a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychologicalassessment, self-reported measures, rating scales, direct and indirectstructured observations and semi-structured interviews with children, familymembers and others involved in the child's care.2. To formulate and implement plans for the formal psychological treatment and/ormanagement of a child's psychological problems. This is to be based upon anappropriate conceptual framework of the client's problems, and employingmethods of proven efficiency, across the full range of care settings.3. To be responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions forchildren, carers, families and groups within and across teams. This wouldinvolve adjusting and refining psychological formulations and drawing upondifferent explanatory models and maintaining a number of provisionalhypotheses.4. To use highly developed specialist knowledge of a range of work proceduresand practices including that of SEND processes and education agenda.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Practitioner Psychologist to join our Neurodevelopmental Pathway (Autism Assessment Service) specialist psychology service. The role will involve assessing children presenting with neurodevelopmental needs across all sectors of care within the Birmingham catchment area.
The post holder will be part of the multidisciplinary team in the Neurodevelopmental Hubs and liaise closely with colleagues in education.
They will also supervise and support the psychological assessments and therapy provided by other psychologists and others who provide psychologically based care and treatment.
They will support a culture of research and utilise research skills for audit, policy and service developments and propose and implement policy changes within the Service and the broader multidisciplinary team. They will also be highly visible and, accessible and a figure to whom staff, patients and their families, can turn to for assistance, advice and support.

Our psychology department is well established and we are looking for committed and passionate psychologists who will work with us to develop and grow psychology department within the Children and Families Division in the same vein. You will be joining an established wider group of friendly, committed and supportive Psychologists. The post holder will also be part of the professional network of Applied Psychologists working across Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, within our Learning Disabilities, Neuro Rehabilitation, Pain Management and Weight Management services.
Our psychologists work closely with colleagues within MDT to strive for care that is trauma informed, compassionate and formulation based. Birmingham is a diverse and multi-cultural community, we are mindful of the additional challenges that clients from marginalised communities may encounter when accessing our services. We have an exciting opportunity available at the RUH to join our newly created band 6 Occupational Therapy rotation.
Our nine month rotations are a great option for an Occupational Therapist who is looking to extend their skills in a variety of services to support patients of varying ages needing specialist occupational therapy. Rotation areas will include Cancer and Palliative Care, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Hospital at Home, Medicine - Complex Care, Acute Stroke and Frailty Front Door Service.
We continually review our rotations and over time we hope to extend to include other services to increase skills and knowledge in an increased variety of specialties.
The RUH offers the opportunity to work in a progressive and friendly integrated Therapies department. This role will allow the advancement of clinical skills and knowledge in various specialist areas as well as encouraging development of leadership skills including supervision skills, recruitment skills, service development and project management.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide Occupational Therapy assessments and intervention to optimise independence as well as creating rehabilitation plans as appropriate. They will also provide and promote acute rehabilitation to patients within their rotational service area.
They will provide daily clinical management of Occupational Therapy staff and some junior Physiotherapy staff working with their rotational team and provide supervision to occupational therapy students and apprentices.
The post holder will have clinical autonomy and be responsible for the management of their own caseload, have an awareness of the caseload demands within the whole rotational therapy team and allocate clinical capacity according to service demands. This will enable them to co-ordinate the daily service delivery across the hospital in the most effective way.

Job summary
We are looking for a friendly, approachable and flexible person to join our centralised reception team, working on a rotational basis across outpatient reception areas within the Surgical Division. This is a busy and varied role and you'll be an important first point of contact for patients attending clinic. You'll welcome and assist patients, respond to telephone enquiries, support outpatient bookings and help provide a positive experience throughout their visit. You'll also prepare patient notes, update records following appointments and support the smooth running of clinics. Accurate bookings, information and clinic arrangements are essential to helping patients move smoothly through their care pathway. We're looking for someone with excellent communication and customer service skills who enjoys working with the public and can remain calm and organised in a busy environment. Previous receptionist or customer-facing experience is essential; healthcare experience is desirable. Flexibility is important as you'll work across different reception areas to meet service needs. If you're friendly, organised, adaptable and enjoy teamwork, we'd love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job
The staff in this role will work on a rotational basis, being responsible for working on a busy reception desk, receiving patients as they arrive in clinic, dealing with telephone enquiries and managing outpatient bookings. In addition they will form part of the team responsible for preparing case notes and clinic lists to ensure the smooth running of clinics.

Scott Arms Medical Centre is looking for a reliable, responsible and hardworking Caretaker to help maintain our new GP practice to a high standard.
This is an important role supporting the day-to-day running of the practice. The University Medical Centre in Bath is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chronic Disease Practice Nurse to focus primarily on the management of asthma and diabetes care for our patients. The role may be extended to fit your skill base if you hold additional qualifications.
The role is centred around a mostly University student patient population and we welcome new members to join our existing nursing team and to help support the needs of our patient population.

Main duties of the job
Care Navigators are often the first voice or face a patient encounters. Whether patients contact us by phone, walk through the door, or submit a request online, you will help make sure they get the right information and reach the right place.
We use askmyGP as our primary workflow tool for clinical requests. Rather than triaging patients themselves, Care Navigators help ensure that requests are accurately recorded so that the duty GP can review and act on them promptly. You will also take turns supporting the duty GP as part of the wider Care Navigation team, and you will help signpost patients to other local services where that is the most appropriate response.
The role also covers the full range of day-to-day practice administration from reception duties and managing records, to supporting clinical and dispensary colleagues and keeping the practice running smoothly.
You will work across our sites as needed, as part of a well-established, friendly team.
We are looking to recruit for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Shifts fall within a working window of approximately 07:30 to 18:30 across those days. Depending on recruitment, hours may be split across more than one person.
