Job summary
Market Surgery is a friendly, well-established GP practice in Wath upon Dearne, and we're looking for an organised and reliable Administration Assistant to join our busy admin team.
This is a varied, hands-on role right at the heart of the practice. You'll keep patient records accurate and up to date, process recalls, manage our inboxes and Accurx, sort and scan post, handle telephone enquiries and provide day-to-day administrative support to the whole practice team. No two days are quite the same, and the work you do directly supports the care our patients receive.
You don't need previous healthcare experience to apply we'll give you full training on SystmOne and our systems. What matters most is that you're a confident communicator, comfortable with IT, calm under pressure and happy working as part of a supportive team.

Main duties of the job
As part of our friendly administration team, you'll provide the day-to-day support that keeps the practice running smoothly and our patient records accurate and up to date.
Your main duties will include:
- Inputting and coding data onto SystmOne
- Processing patient recalls so people are invited in for the right checks at the right time
- Managing the practice inboxes and Accurx admin messages
- Opening, sorting and scanning post, and actioning documents appropriately
- Handling telephone enquiries from patients and other stakeholders
- Preparing forms, invoices and Subject Access Requests for processing
- Sorting, filing and retrieving patient records ready for summarising
You'll work closely with colleagues right across the practice, so accuracy, organisation and good communication really matter. Full training on our systems will be provided, so you don't need prior healthcare experience to thrive in the role.

Job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic General Internal Medicine Consultant with a Specialist Interest to join our dynamic department as part of service expansion. This post presents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing department practicing from a state-of-the-art University hospital.
The successful appointee will join the existing consultant body in delivery of high-quality inpatient and outpatient provision General Internal Medicine services to this large Trust, incorporating the University Hospital in Coventry, and St Cross Hospital in Rugby. The post holder will also be supported to provide care in a specialist service within UHCW. The post holder will be expected to provide patient care as part General Internal Medicine (GIM) medical cover and support GIM on-call. There may be opportunity to support time aligned to world class research or medical educational provision depending on the candidates interest and experience.
The recruitment of the post forms part of the wider Medicine Clinical Group strategy, which would seek to reduce the number of General Medical patients residing in non-medical wards and to centralise any surge in General Medical demand to a designated short stay medical ward.
Main duties of the job
Clinical duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing, in collaboration with colleagues, a comprehensive General Internal Medicine service to patients in Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond, ensuring all appropriate waiting lists and waiting times are adhered to; that services are provided in an effective and efficient manner; and that the principles of risk management and clinical governance are always maintained.
- The appointee will be expected to work collaboratively with their colleagues to deliver the service in the Trust but also in the community setting.
- Undertake unselected ward rounds of the inpatients on outlier wards.
- Take responsibility for patients under their care.
- Provide a consultation and advisory service to other clinical colleagues in other specialties within the Trust and Primary Care.
- Participate in the development of the GIM medicine treatment protocols and guidelines and the greater knowledge in the management of conditions.
- Participate in the General Medicine on-call rota and ensure that appropriate emergency services are provided out-of-normal working hours.
- Participate in the education and training of medical students, trainee doctors, nursing, and other personnel as appropriate. Interest and experience in undergraduate teaching is essential. This includes pre-clinical & clinical students from WMS.

This is an opportunity to join the Specialist Surgical Collaborative, which provides services throughout Cumbria in a number of varied clinical settings. The service aims to provide a high quality, locally delivered, patient focussed service.
This role will be crucial to the efficient day to day delivery of the service.
We are looking for a competent and professional Clerk Typist who can achieve between 50 - 60 words per minute average typing speed with recent or relevant experience in a similar role and regularly producing professional letters/documents. The posts will be based at Cumberland Infirmary or Hilltop Heights, typing for Consultants, Specialist Doctors and Nurse Practitioners.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will often be the first point of contact for our patients therefore a professional, patient focused approach is key at all times. You will provide a high standard of administration support to the clinical team, liaising with other departments, patients, NHS Trusts and external agencies.
You must be educated to GCSE (minimum C Grade) standard, be trained to RSA level 2 standard and/or an NVQ level 2 in Administration and/or have the relevant typing experience, preferably having an administration background.
We are looking for someone with a pleasant, adaptable disposition who can remain calm under pressure and deal with a busy workload efficiently and effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as well as a positive approach to working in a team.

This is an opportunity to join the Specialist Surgical Collaborative, which provides services throughout Cumbria in a number of varied clinical settings. The service aims to provide a high quality, locally delivered, patient focussed service.
This role will be crucial to the efficient day to day delivery of the service.
We are looking for a competent and professional Clerk Typist who can achieve between 50 - 60 words per minute average typing speed with recent or relevant experience in a similar role and regularly producing professional letters/documents. The posts will be based at Cumberland Infirmary or Hilltop Heights, typing for Consultants, Specialist Doctors and Nurse Practitioners.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will often be the first point of contact for our patients therefore a professional, patient focused approach is key at all times. You will provide a high standard of administration support to the clinical team, liaising with other departments, patients, NHS Trusts and external agencies.
You must be educated to GCSE (minimum C Grade) standard, be trained to RSA level 2 standard and/or an NVQ level 2 in Administration and/or have the relevant typing experience, preferably having an administration background.
We are looking for someone with a pleasant, adaptable disposition who can remain calm under pressure and deal with a busy workload efficiently and effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as well as a positive approach to working in a team.

Job summary
INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES ONLY
An opportunity has arisen for a Trust Doctor (FY2 equivalent) to support Trauma and Orthopaedics. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to further develop their skills and education in orthopaedic management . With further opportunity to support General Surgery.
Main duties of the job
The doctor will be based either in Trauma and Orthopaedics, spending shifts in blocks in one or other specialty. They will be responsible for seeing and assessing the acute referrals into that service, and initiating management plans. There will always be a registrar and consultant in each service on call (weekdays always available, at weekends may be in theatre but readily contactable).
The shifts when not assigned to carry the on call bleep the doctor will be expected to provide support to the FY1 doctors on the ward and attend the post-take ward round. They will then be timetabled to either attend clinic or theatre or undertaking quality improvement projects thus increasing the educational opportunities available to them. We are hoping to develop these posts in the next twelve months to deliver additional experience in General Surgery as well. This will therefore enable those in posts to gain more experience that will help further develop skills and experience to further their career.

Job summary
All successful candidates will be expected to submit documentation for the GMC Portfolio Pathway within 18 months of their start date.
The Trust's Stroke Department in the Directorate of Elderly Care, Stroke and Rehabilitation falls under the remit of the Speciality Medicine Collaborative.
There are currently approximately 700 patients for North Cumbria each year with a discharge diagnosis of stroke. Approximately 20 patients per week are seen in the Neurovascular clinic at Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle (CIC).
The Trust has a Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) at the Cumberland Infirmary site, which comprises of a 10 bedded HAS unit at CIC, with 25 acute and rehabilitation beds and a further 15 acute and rehabilitation beds at WCH. Successful candidates will join the established team and have the opportunity to contribute to the further establishment of a high quality stroke service across North Cumbria. A 7 day service model allows the delivery of 7 day stroke/TIA clinics which will rapidly speed up diagnosis and therapeutic intervention, and will provide an integrated pathway into community services.'
Main duties of the job
We are looking to appoint dynamic and forward-thinking Consultant Physicians with a special interest in Stroke Medicine to complete a team of six (including new appointments) within the Trust covering North Cumbria. The Directorate would equally welcome applications from existing and newly trained Consultants (on a full or part-time basis).

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Teams Adult Social Care in South staffs for a Band 4 Care Act Assessor. This is a permanent position and is an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their social care career who wants to experience a wide range of opportunities in adult social services. You will be fully supported to develop your skills and experience. The team successful applicant will be joining is configured of social workers, social care assessors and Care act Assessors, therefore it would be suited to someone who has an interest in the welfare of those in the community of South Staffordshire and surrounding areas.
The role involves being part of a busy community assessment and review team and involves working closely with service-users, carers, partner agencies and other professionals providing assessment of need, signposting, information, care planning and reviewing in line with The Care Act (2014) and Mental Capacity Act (2005).

The post holder will be responsible for working in an identified adult community mental health service, with the flexibility of working across pathways, dependent on skill and service need. They will be responsible for key working of an identified caseload.
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking clinical assessments, in accordance with the clinical service, to establish the person's needs, goals, risks and strengths in order to generate a formulation based care plan agreed with all involved. Responsible for participating in the setting of quality standards, including the auditing, monitoring and reviewing of practice in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy.
Administer medication, complying with relevant trust procedures and NMC Guidance.
Assess patient's individual care needs, develop, implement and evaluate episodes of care.
Deliver a range of interventions in accordance with the agreed plan of care and Pathway guidance including; pharmacological and psychologically informed interventions.
Complete and contribute, where appropriate to robust risk assessments and risk management plans. Deliver and promote positive risk taking, where appropriate, to improve quality of life and maximise occupational performance/independence.
Maintain an effective reporting system by observing and reporting verbally and in writing on patient conditions.

In the Community Complex Care Team pride ourselves on our delivery of excellent, holistic patient and family centred care within the home, school and a variety of community settings. All of our client group (Adults and Children) have highly complex physical health needs, from needing support with their breathing to managing challenging seizure activity and everything in between!
We are a large, expanding team covering the whole of Staffordshire, with office bases in Stafford, Stoke-On-Trent and Lichfield. We operate in a Hub system, which is, based on geographical location allowing us to ensure a supportive, small team feel across all hubs. We provide a 24/7 nurse on call service, ensuring a constant point of contact where support can be accessed.
We are looking for Complex Care Support Workers to join our team. We do cover a 24-hour period so there is an expectation that you would be able to work days and nights and the shift times are individual to each package of care. The whole of your shift will be spent with one client, so you will get the opportunity to really make a difference.
During interview you will be able discuss which geographical location you would be able tocover. You must be able to travel to areas and for shift times where public transport is not available.
Main duties of the job
To work in patient's homes or other designated settings to deliver high quality care to patients with complex physical health care needs, including but not limited to management of tracheostomies, ventilators, enteral feeding, complex seizures and medication administration.
To assess patient care needs on a daily basis, implementing and evaluating care plans produced by qualified nurses with patients and their families.
To assess care plans, risk assessments and contingencies, in conjunction with the qualified nurses, on a regular basis to ensure consistency and reflect up to date care needs.
To ensure the delivery and quality of care given complies with local and Trust agreed policies and procedures and is of the highest standard.
To assist patient in achieving their potential to live independently as per care plan.

We would like to welcome additional Practitioner Psychologists to be part of our CAMHS multi-disciplinary teams, working within established services.
We have 2 fixed-term 12-month vacancies for Clinical/Counselling Psychologists based in our Tamworth and Lichfield CAMHS teams, working alongside the multi-disciplinary teams and supported by a Principal Clinical Psychologist and Consultant Clinical Psychologist. These are a band 7 posts and we will support newly qualifying Clinical Psychologists, who may be seeking a Band 8a post in the future, via our development programme.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Passionate about working with the children and young people seen in our community CAMH services
- Collaborative in their approach to working with children, young people, their families/carers and networks

Main duties of the job
- You will be responsible for the provision of a therapeutic psychological / mental health service to children & young people presenting with psychological distress and mental health difficulties. The role will incorporate complex assessments leading to psychological formulations and the delivery of effective interventions to this population.
- All clinical staff in the team assist with the duty rota (9-5 on working days), contribute to initial assessments, manage risk and act as case managers for their general caseload.
- CAMHS staff need to be able to work in a range of settings, most usually clinic settings but also including home visits, residential settings, and schools as well as attending meetings at different sites. As such, the ability to travel across South Staffordshire is required.

Main duties of the job
A key feature of this post is to promote individual person-centred recovery by drawing on the peer support workers own personal lived experience of mental health challenges and of accessing mental health services.
As a pivotal and highly valued member of the team, peer support workers will have a case load of identified patients who they will work with on both an individual basis and by delivering group interventions, working in collaboration with the wider multi-disciplinary team.
This formalised peer support will allow the post holder to provide a safe space for individuals to talk and make sense of their experiences whilst sharing wisdom from their own recovery to inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible.
They will promote choice, self-determination and opportunities and assist the individual to set and achieve their own unique recovery goals and recognising that everyone's recovery is a distinctive and deeply personal process.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialty Doctor to join the UHCW dermatology department.
UHCW NHS Trust is one of the leading teaching hospitals in the UK and is the home of Warwick Medical School, providing wide ranging opportunities to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research. It is housed in a new PFI building, opened in 2007, and provides state of the art facilities for the delivery of medical care. A full range of diagnostic and therapeutic service for general Dermatological problems are provided at UHCW NHS Trust together with a number of specialist services across the hospital sites at University Hospital Coventry (UH), the Hospital of St Cross Rugby (RStX), George Elliot Hospital Nuneaton (GEH), City of Coventry Health Centre (COCH).
The successful candidate will join a team of 7 consultants, 3 Specialist Registrars, 4 Specialty Doctors and 1 SHO and will be expected to actively support the delivery of first class Dermatology service for the Trust, working in collaboration with clinical colleagues in all disciplines to provide an integrated service for patients.

Main duties of the job
As part of our commitment to patients and delivery of a world class service for all we have created the UHCW Improvement (UHCWi) System in partnership with the Virginia Mason Institute in Seattle; this involves a structured approach to removing waste and putting the patient first using a lean management system and methodologies. Our culture and ways of working reflect and embed the practices and methodologies of UHCWi. You are expected, where identified, to attend and complete relevant training and development opportunities to support this. This may include Lean for Leaders, Advanced Lean Training, and the Human Factors Programme, amongst others. Full attendance and completion of identified courses is considered essential and a prerequisite for this post.

Job summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our specialist Children and Young People's Eating Disorders Service. This rewarding role involves providing therapeutic support and spending meaningful time with children and young people experiencing eating disorders, helping to promote recovery and emotional wellbeing.
You will be responsible for delivering planned, recovery-focused care to a defined caseload of children and young people with eating disorders, ensuring support is tailored to individual needs. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across Trust services to provide seamless care along agreed pathways and liaise effectively with external partners, including statutory, independent, voluntary, and charitable organisations, to support access to appropriate services.
You will support service users to maintain their place within the community and assist with transitions between services where required. Working closely with the Lead Professional, you will contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised care plans. You will also play a key role in supporting young people and their families, including providing practical and emotional support during mealtimes. Our newly developed CAMHS GO (CAMHS Group Offer) Service will be an early intervention offer to children and young people with mild to moderate health and mental wellbeing problems.
The Mental Health Practitioner provides brief, evidence-based, and outcome-focused psychological interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary Children's and Young Peoples Mental Health Service, you will conduct assessments, deliver low-intensity interventions, and support children, young people, and their families to develop practical coping skills
