Main duties of the job
The post holder will have a good general medical background with experience in UK Emergency Medicine and the ability to diagnose, treat and appropriately dispose of patients presenting as an emergency. The following competencies comprise a list the majority of which the post holder would have achieved in previous posts before being appointed. Those not achieved at the time of appointment should be acquired under the supervision of the Consultants in Emergency Medicine:Anterior Nasal Pack, BIPAP, CPAP, Cauterization (Littles' Area), Chest Drain, Reduction of Dislocated joints, External Pacing ,Femoral Venous Line Insertion, Reduction of Fractures, Haematoma Block, Intra Venous Sedation, Intraosseous Needle Insertion, Intubation of a cardiac arrest patient, Jugular Venous Line Insertion, Knee Aspiration, Log Roll, Nail Bed Repair, Nail Removal, Nail Trephine, Pleural Aspiration, Reduction Pulled Elbow, Ring Block, Ultrasound Identification (Jugular vein), Subacromial Injection, Suprapubic Catheter Insertion, Pharmacological control of an agitated patient (as per NICE guidelines), PCI Initiation of Care Pathway.

Job summary
The post is for a consultant Haematologist on a fixed term on a 12 months contract and will be based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolwich (QEH).
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to help develop a high-quality service in this busy district general hospital, delivering comprehensive Haemato-Oncology, General Haematology & Laboratory Haematology services.
The trust is in the process of operationalising a number of exciting service transformations, such as an Emergency Department Bypass Unit to improve the outcomes and experiences of our patients with sickle cell. The department is also exploring opportunities for the expansion of our treatment capacity for malignant and non-malignant haematology and is in the process of developing a strategy to adopt innovative ways of working. The postholder will have the opportunity to contribute to the clinical leadership of these exciting developments.
This role will be delivered as whole-time equivalent amounting to 10 programmed activities per week, subject to job plan review. Any applicant who is unable for personal reasons, to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post. If such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues.
Main duties of the job
The appointee will be based at QEH to provide a General Haematology service as well as Haem- Malignancy service.
The general Haematology workload includes providing full haematological support to all patients treated at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, GPs and the local Mental Health Trust (Oxleas). The population served is approximately 800,000. Traditionally the Haematologists have had good working links with the GPs and have provided a direct consultative service for interpretation of haematological tests and clinical problems. Anticoagulation services are partially moving into the community.
The post holder is expected to take an equal share in the delivery inpatient haematology services including Level 2B, laboratory haematology workload including blood film, bone marrow and Transfusion Management.
The post holder may be required to undertake other duties appropriate for a Consultant Haematologist not otherwise specified.

Job summary
We require several Security Officers (Band 3) to assist in the maintenance of Security to protect people and property, deter and detect crime and provide a reassuring presence to our staff, patients and visitors. Main duties of the job

You will need to use diplomacy skills to diffuse and de-escalate aggressive behaviour and be able to physically assist in restraining violent individuals who may be patients or visitors. Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
As part of the Community Rheumatology Service, you'll be a key part of the multi-disciplinary team including Physio's, OT's, APP's, Nurses, GPwSI's and Consultant's; as well as working alongside our wider MSK service and Community Pain Team. The role is focussed on expert assessment and management of potential Rheumatological patients. You'll be highly skilled in the assessment and management of this patient group. This could include but is not limited to; evidence of specific training in this area, injection therapy, bloods ordering and interpretation skills, radiological imaging skills, independent prescribing and ultrasonography. Some of these skills we would support once in the role. You will help develop and influence the design of the service, ensuring you maintain strong relations with the existing service provision within the hospital that is to focus more on the management of high-risk complex patients. Whilst undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, you must formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge is achieved.

The ambition is to deliver specialist, acute mental health care in a setting designed and staffed to meet the specialist environmental and clinical needs of people with a learning disability and or autism where access to mainstream inpatient services cannot be achieved through implementation of reasonable adjustments.
The Cary ward will be a centre of excellence and has been carefully designed to provide services to individuals with autism, learning disabilities and/or mental health disorders. You will be instrumental in the development, implementation and delivery of the clinical and operational model for the inpatient service.
Main duties of the job
To inspire, lead and provide clear leadership to those working on the ward, enabling service delivery of the highest quality, ensuring that people who have Mental Health concerns are provided with a quality, person centred approach to care delivery, which always considers people's safety, privacy and dignity.
To work within a multi-professional team in an inpatient setting, providing, support, care, and treatment to individuals, within guidelines and protocols identified. Managing the development and practice of a set of therapeutic care skills, making a significant contribution to service users' psychological, emotional and social wellbeing. Overseeing that the service provided enables patients to reach their optimum level of independence, take responsibility for ensuring individuals and their relatives receive care that prioritises safety, effectiveness, partnership and hope. Main duties of the job
Mowbray Square PCN, together with Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust, are working together to transform local community mental health services for people with mental health problems. New funding has enabled the PCN and local GP surgeries, to create a multi-disciplinary team that will work in close collaboration with a wide range of organisations.
The postholder joins the existing First Contact Mental Health Practitioner that has been extremely successful with good outcomes for patients and the PCN. They will work in partnership with practice colleagues to continue to build the service within Mowbray Square PCN. The PCN's ambition is to improve access to emotional and mental health support for everyone.
As a valued team member, you will develop close working relationships with all our friendly Clinical staff, including our existing Mental Health Practitioner. Your role will involve offering specialist mental health advice and providing clinical care forpeople with a range of mental health needs, ensuring that those with mental illness do not fall between gaps in services. You will improve access by being a 'first contact mental health worker', undertaking triage, assessments, brief interventions, and reviews, with clinical supervision provided by a B6/B7 Mental Health Practitioner. You will contribute networking and navigation expertise, enabling access to a range of appropriate mental health support across the community system.

Main duties of the job
You will join a supportive and developing Inventory and Logistics Team that is focused on delivering innovation, continuous improvement and best practice across inventory management and supply chain services. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine operational leadership, systems expertise, stakeholder engagement and service improvement within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
We are looking for a highly organised individual with experience of inventory management, procurement systems, reporting or supply chain processes. Experience of training and supporting users, leading projects and building effective stakeholder relationships is essential.

We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated psychology graduates who are keen to gain experience in order to progress towards applied training in clinical psychology. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, innovative and inspiring Psychologist to join our Bridgeways Older Adults Teams. The post holder will be the Psychology Clinical Lead (0.6 WTE) within the Bromley Memory Service, alongside the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, with dedicated time to offering neuropsychological assessments and expertise to the dementia assessment process. Working in the Bromley Older Adults Community Mental Health Team (0.2 WTE) there is flexibility to be involved in a range of psychological interventions and exciting initiatives. The post holder will join well-established, friendly and diverse multidisciplinary teams. The position would suit an experienced psychologist looking to develop their skills in senior roles, leadership tasks, supervision, operational and strategic development.
Main duties of the job
This is a varied role, which includes providing specialist individual, family and group interventions, neuropsychological assessment, as well as contributing to the therapeutic functions of the teams. You will support the teams with oversight and embedding of NHS transformation and exciting developments in more diverse and new psychological roles, and will contribute to service planning and development, including attendance at relevant management meetings. You will be professionally accountable to the Bromley OPMH Head of Psychological Therapies, and specialist clinical supervision will be provided within the OPMH service. You will also be supported by team managers.
As well as service development and clinical governance roles, we welcome and encourage research and audit interests, including co-producing research with our service users through our programme of service user involvement. Supervision and CPD are prioritised in the Trust, with a range of training and specialist supervision opportunities available. Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS East & South East London Pathology Partnership (ESEL) Haematology Department in our journey to excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist with a positive attitude, proven leadership abilities, a positive outlook, and a strong commitment to patient care by participating in a 24-hour Agenda for Change shift system. The successful candidate will be primarily based at The Royal London Hospital site (RLH) but may be expected to cover and support other ESEL sites depending on service demand. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Red Cell Haematology section with core responsibility for the partnership's Haemoglobinopathy services and will collaborate with Operational Leads to drive service innovation and transformation. The department serves a diverse patient demographic and participates in the NHS Antenatal Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Screening programme, utilizing Bio-Rad Variant II analysers. Additionally, the department utilises Winpath LIMS and Sysmex equipment for Haematology and Coagulation across all ESEL sites
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible to the Operational Lead of the site and is required to carry out/ supervise technical and scientific work in the section. They will practice as a HCPC registered Senior Biomedical Scientist providing a patient focused, cost effective and efficient service.Duties will include the management of Biomedical Scientists (BMS), Associate Practitioners (AP) and Medical Laboratory Assistants (MLA) within the section involving the training and supervision of unqualified staff, whilst taking charge of the day-to-day operations of the section within the laboratory.Flexible hours including weekends and bank holidays will be required within the contracted 37.5 hours per week in accordance with Agenda for Change (AfC) Terms and Conditions handbook. The post holder must participate in the departments AfC shift systems.The post holder must be conversant with the technologies and methodologies specific to the core and specialist sections and will be required to rotate through the various sections of the laboratory and work at different Barts Health networked laboratories.The post holder must be able to demonstrate proficiency and competence in the designated work area to an agreed expertise level and will ensure regular CPD participation is being met to fulfil competence to practice for their own professional registration.
