By joining our Prison Health Care Team, you will not only look after the healthcare needs of the prisoners, but will also have the opportunity to have a real impact on promoting health and well-being. Working in partnership with the criminal justice system and other agencies, we provide responsive, dependable and high-quality primary care and mental health services to those in prison, to improve their health status and to encourage social inclusion.

Main duties of the job
To provide a key role in integrating clinical psychology within the wider mental health team.
To provide a comprehensive specialist clinical psychology service to service users.
To provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy as well as offering advice and consultation on service users' psychological care to other members of the clinical team.
To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures.
To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the Health & Justice Services Directorate.
To provide clinical supervision to other members of the team when appropriate.
To contribute to the reflective practice and critical thinking of the team on a case-by-case basis (e.g. complex case reviews) and in service improvement.

CNWL's Health and Justice Services are led by a highly motivated team with vast experience in healthcare within secure environments. We employ a range of psychologists and psychological therapists with clinical, counselling and forensic trainings. Psychologists work within the mental health services in numerous sites, across prisons, YOIs and secure hospitals, with children and adults, men and women and across the range of security categories. Psychologists also lead four specialist Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) commissioned services and Sexual Behaviour Services in the youth estate.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Doctoral level training in clinical, forensic or counselling psychology, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology, equivalent to that accredited by the BPS.
- Evidence of post-qualification specialist training, experience and developing expertise in a specialist area of clinical practice relevant to this role
- HCPC Registered as a practitioner psychologist

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care and in patient settings
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity including maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems, verbal abuse and the threat of physical abuse.
- Experience of representing psychology within context of multidisciplinary care.
- Experience of the application of applied psychology in different cultural contexts and experience of working within a multicultural framework.
- Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision
- Experience or demonstrable knowledge of working with the particular client group served by the team/service

Job summary
To work within the specialist area of Podiatric biomechanics/MSK in the management of a broad range of lower limb, gait and orthopaedic/musculoskeletal related conditions, providing high quality care.
The post holder will support strategic development, planning and operational delivery of MSK Podiatry services within the department across community and acute care settings.
The post holder will act as a specialist resource, providing expert care to patients presenting with a wide range of podiatric conditions. This includes managing individuals with complex medical needs and high-risk foot and lower limb complications, such as those associated with diabetes, HIV, neuropathy, and inflammatory arthropathies.
They will assess, prescribe, and deliver treatments, including designing and manufacturing foot orthoses of varying complexity.
As part of the specialist foot team, they will diagnose and manage patients; provide education and staff training; and support the development of clinical pathways to deliver integrated care for those with acute and complex long-term conditions.
Main duties of the job
MSK
1. To undertake evidence-based clinical assessment and diagnosis of biomechanical and musculoskeletal conditions, using advanced clinical reasoning and decision-making to formulate and implement appropriate treatment plans. To perform high-risk biomechanical assessments, including gait analysis.
2. To apply knowledge of biomechanics and its impact on tissue viability, using pressure-relieving devices in the management of complex foot conditions
3. To develop and maintain advanced-level skills, working within an extended scope of practice beyond podiatry, including (but not limited to) referral for and interpretation of X-rays and other imaging, pathology reports, and post-operative wound management.
4. Communicate effectively with patients about treatment options in a clear and understandable way, enabling them to make informed decisions about their care.
5. To review and evaluate treatments and interventions in response to patients' needs, continually updating practices to ensure the delivery of evidence-based best-practice care.
6. To ensure careful attention to orthotic prescription, accuracy, and detail when manufacturing high quality foot orthotics varying in degrees of complexity, including those intended for patients with a history of foot ulcerations.

Job summary
Aspen Medical Practice is seeking a Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking team. We believe excellent patient care depends on giving clinicians the time and support they need to work safely and sustainably. Our standard GP clinics include ten 15-minute face-to-face appointments, four protected follow-up telephone slots and 1 hour 10 minutes of protected administration time per session.
We care for approximately 32,000 patients and have invested in a large multidisciplinary team, dedicated administrative support and structured appointment templates to help reduce GP workload and support continuity of care. GPs work within a collaborative Duty Hub model, providing access to colleagues for advice and support throughout the day.
This is a permanent role for 4-8 sessions per week. Flexible working arrangements will be considered, although we are particularly interested in candidates who can work on Mondays and/or Wednesdays. The successful candidate will also participate in our Extended Access service through either an evening or Saturday session.

Main duties of the job
The posts are focused upon supporting data collection processes for Children and Young Peoples IAPT (CYP-IAPT), including clinical outcome monitoring and service-user satisfaction. The post holder will join the RTT (Referral to Treatment) Validation team within the Patient Administration Contact Centre and will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative and patient-facing tasks.

Main duties of the job

- Deliver direct therapeutic engagement to patients requiring enhanced support, one-to-one observation or behavioural intervention.

Job summary
The post holder will support the provision of the Autism Team to autistic individuals and complex healthcare needs across Lancashire and South Cumbria. Your role will be to ensure that the person's communication needs are assessed and considered. You will be a registered Speech and Language Therapist who will undertake appropriately delegated work to support the care and treatment of autistic adults within the community and inpatient settings. You will 30 hours between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility is required to meet the needs of the team and the wider network. The post holder shall support the delivery of the Specialist Autism Service team model through the provision of routine speech and language therapy assessment and interventions in order to maintain, restore or create a match beneficial to the individual between the abilities of the person, and the demands of the environment/ communication culture around them.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust for an experienced band 5 or existing band 6 physiotherapist to develop their skills and knowledge within the speciality of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy within a supportive team.
The pelvic health physiotherapy service is based at Homerton Hospital with a responsibility to provide inpatient and outpatient services, community clinics and group exercise and advice sessions. The service has close links with gynaecology, urology, colorectal and sexual health consultants, midwives, specialist nurses and GP services. The service is led by the pelvic health physiotherapy team lead and the wider Outpatient therapies lead. The Pelvic health team consists of a Band 7 lead and two rotational staff members, a static Band 6 member in addition to the role advertised.
Pelvic Health experience would be advantageous but an MSK physiotherapist with enthusiasm and drive to develop within the speciality of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy would be considered. Potential funding is available for courses specific to development into this area. You will be encouraged and supported to develop your clinical, teaching and managerial skills and be actively involved in service development.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and highly skilled full time, 37.50 hours a week, Band 3 Support Secretary to join our dedicated Head & Neck Secretariat team at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford. This is a pivotal role within a supportive team of Medical Secretaries. Providing high-level secretarial support to the Head & Neck Centre, managing complex clinical correspondence using sensitive medical terminology via audio transcription. Organising and prioritising a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. Communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams across all levels upholding the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Main duties of the job
- Using Microsoft Office application, produce clinical correspondences with audio transcription. To include communication to General Practitioners and other health professionals, clinical letters, notes, and discharge summaries.
- Respond to telephone calls from anxious and distressed patients, resolving problems, when possible, in a professional and competent manner.
- Ensure all queries from colleagues and external organisations are dealt with quickly and effectively in the department, producing file notes as necessary.
- To promote the implementation and adherence of agreed policies, procedures, and protocols. Ensure the smooth running of the office/team including the assessment of priorities and the initiation of preparatory action.
- Opening and dealing with incoming correspondences as appropriate. Photocopying, general office duties and the use of PAS (Patient Administration System) when necessary.
- File results, letters, and various other documentation in medical notes
