Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Senior Pharmacy Technician to provide leadership and co-ordination of the Pharmacy Supplies Service.
You will be need to be an experienced Pharmacy Technician, with a relevant pharmaceutical qualification and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Pharmacy Technician to provide leadership and co-ordination of the Supply service.
You will:
- Deliver a high quality, safe and effective pharmacy service, actively participating in the delivery of services to all areas of the department.
- Co-ordinate and support the training and development of pharmacy assistants and pre-registration pharmacy technicians with respect to ward services.
- Provide leadership and management of staff, processes, procedures and workload/workforce planning and development of the Supply services.
- Ensure patients and staff receive excellent service and medications are supplied in a safe and efficient manner which meets set KPIs.
- Manage risks, errors and near misses in the various ward and pharmacy environments, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated.
- Co-ordinate and lead on investigations and outcomes to incidents, errors and complaints received regarding the Supply services.
- Continuously contribute to service improvements
- Ensure adherence to Wholesale Dealers license in regards to the supply of stock medicines to external unit
-Maintain Pharmacy QMS system

Main duties of the job
We're seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking GP who enjoys collaborative working, embraces innovation, and is keen to continue developing their skills.

Job summary:
This post requires the holder to have an excellent understanding of and identification with the ethos of the Practice and to demonstrate this in their professional behaviour and their dealings with the public.
The post-holder will ensure the highest standards of care for all registered patients.
They will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, be involved in practice meetings, business affairs and take an interest in the practice's future development and share in decision making.
Clinical responsibilities:
- Provide a full range of medical services as per the GMS contract
- Duties include surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home or in care homes, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion
- Respond to medical problems presented by temporarily registered residents as required.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join the Newborn Screening Team within the Chemical Pathology Department at GOSH. You will join the team of Scientists at one of the largest paediatric clinical biochemistry departments in the UK.
The Chemical Pathology Department at GOSH is part of the Paediatric Laboratory Medicine, and has strong clinical ties with the Metabolic, Endocrine, Neurology, Gastro-enterology, Transplant and other Clinical Teams. The department hosts the UKs largest Newborn screening service, screening approximately over 120,000 newborns per year. We also provide a comprehensive diagnostic, treatment, and management service to children with a wide range of different conditions includingrare inherited metabolic diseases (IMDs). The laboratory conducts Saturday result review for IMD conditions and you are expected to participate in this activity.
The Laboratory also has strong links with the Neurometabolic Unit at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and with the GOSH Institute of Child Health and is involved in a variety of research projects in the UK and overseas.
Main duties of the job
Ideally applicants should already be HCPC state registered as a Biomedical Scientist and have worked in an accredited Chemical Pathology or Molecular Pathology Laboratory. You should have goodcommunication skills, be able to work well in a team and be able to take initiative and prioritise workload. The work requires consistent attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Further professional development and membership is strongly encouraged with regular internal seminars and financial assistance to attend external courses.

We are delighted to advertise two Psychologist/Psychotherapist posts, working with people in the gaps between NHS Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT) and community mental health services. We have a 1.0 wte post based in the West of Leeds and a 0.6 wte post based in the East.
The post holder will be part of the Primary Care Mental Health Team which is a multidisciplinary service that works closely with GP practices using a holistic person-centred model of care. The postholder will work alongside psychological therapists and other colleagues from the NHS trusts and a range of third sector partners. The aims of the service are to:
Provide therapeutic input (individual and group) for people presenting with complex needs. Clients may present with co-occurring physical, social and mental health issues and/or neurodiversity-related issues, requiring a flexible, multi-modal approach.
Work proactively to ensure that our services are acceptable and accessible to people from minoritised backgrounds who may not be well served by standard service models.
Provide psychological consultation and supervision to primary care staff, including GPs and other allied professionals.
Work collaboratively to embed a flexible, psychologically informed model of care.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will work closely with the Consultant Clinical Psychologist and the senior psychological therapists in each cluster to develop a flexible and creative therapeutic offer, tailored to individual need. A particular focus will be on working to address health inequalities and ensuring equitable access to psychological support and interventions.
This is an exciting time to be joining this service as we have received significant investment in psychological therapies, in line with the NHS long-term plan and the national programme of community mental health transformation. The aims of the new transformed services are to foster integration between the NHS, the third sector and social care and to increase access to specialist interventions, including psychological therapies. These roles are 'early implementer' roles that will play a key part in piloting and evaluating this evolving service.
In addition to direct clinical work, the role will involve supporting the work of primary care mental health workers through supervision, consultation, and training. It will also involve collaborating with other stakeholders and third sector providers to develop effective pathways and networks.

We are seeking an enthusiastic band 6 podiatrist to join our friendly, progressive and supportive podiatry team. This role is designed to offer a podiatrist the opportunity to continue to build and maintain their clinical skillset within a structured and supported environment.
The podiatry service operates mainly from a central hub at Surbiton Health Centre where we operate a multi-chair clinic alongside several other community-based health services. Our service covers nail surgery under local anaesthesia, biomechanics with orthoses provision, core podiatry including domiciliary care and high-risk foot care with wound care, Our biomechanics service is fortunate to be able to offer shockwave therapy and presents a further opportunity to the successful candidate with rotation through all our podiatry specialisms.
Main duties of the job
Main duties
Provide advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with a wide range of podiatric conditions, including high-risk and complex cases such as those related to Diabetes and Peripheral Arterial Disease.
Manage and treat foot ulcers, infections, and wound care, contributing to prevention of complications and hospital admissions.
Undertake nail surgery and other minor podiatric procedures in line with clinical protocols.
Deliver biomechanical assessments and orthotic interventions where appropriate including shockwave therapy.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, liaising with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Participate in clinical audit, service evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives to support service development.

Locum Consultant Ophthalmologist - Adult and Paediatric Cornea and Cataract
We are seeking an appropriately fellowship-trained ophthalmologist to take up this prestigious joint appointment between Great Ormond Street Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital. The successful candidate will provide specialist paediatric cataract and paediatric corneal care at GOSH, alongside adult and paediatric corneal practice at Moorfields. This is a rare opportunity to work across two internationally renowned institutions, caring for children and adults with complex anterior segment disease and joining established, highly specialised multidisciplinary teams. We are looking for an enthusiastic corneal surgeon with the training, experience and ambition to contribute to, and further develop, these nationally and internationally recognised services.
Main duties of the job
o Provide consultant-led assessment and management of children and young people with congenital and acquired corneal, anterior-segment and cataract disorders at GOSH.
o Undertake paediatric cataract and appropriate corneal/anterior-segment surgery, including peri-operative planning, consent, postoperative care and management of complications within agreed competence and governance arrangements.
o Provide adult and paediatric corneal clinics and surgery at Moorfields, including the management of keratoconus, corneal transplantation and complex anterior-segment disease.
o Work with anaesthetic, orthoptic, optometric, nursing, genetics and other multidisciplinary colleagues, including participation in relevant MDT meetings and transition planning.
o Participate in the Moorfields corneal on-call rota.
o Provide timely clinical administration, including results review, correspondence, coding, genetic-test follow-up, MDT preparation and safe handover across both Trusts.
o Maintain accurate records and comply with the safeguarding, consent, information-governance, incident-reporting and infection-prevention requirements of each Trust.
o Contribute to service development, quality improvement, audit and clinical governance for the joint GOSH-Moorfields cornea and cataract pathway, including agreed outcome measures and waiting-list stewardship.

Main duties of the job
The Children`s Occupational Therapy Service provides high-quality occupational therapy to children and young people 0-18 years old, with difficulties in play, self-care and/or school occupations due to a variety of conditions. Occupational Therapists within the service work autonomously, seeing children in a variety of community healthcare and educational settings including clients' homes, clinics, schools, nurseries and specialist educational settings. Children and young people referred to the service may have multiple and complex conditions.
As an experienced practitioner, the Highly Specialist Children`s Occupational Therapistwill manage a team of occupational therapists who will work to build capacity in mainstream schools through universal and targeted work, while also holding a complex clinical caseload of specialist cases. The Occupational Therapy lead will be expected to oversee as well as support the team in managing the offer for schools and early year settings while ensuring children who need specialist care get timely assessments. The postholder will also offer specialist support and education to healthcare colleagues and other agencies involved in the child's care.
The Highly Specialist Children`s Occupational Therapist will provide leadership and line management within the service, including recruitment and retention, appraisal and performance/ absence management.

The Patient Flow Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient movement of patients through our community hospitals the aim of reducing length of stay, preventing readmissions and optimising patient outcomes.

You will work with the teams on our wards at Abingdon Community Hospital. Your work will directly contribute to reducing length of stay, preventing readmissions, and improving patient outcomes.
Main duties of the job
- Planning and Coordinating Hospital discharges
- Effective communication with patients and families to involve them in preparing for discharge from hospital
- Working closely with colleagues in other organisations such as adult social care and voluntary sector organisations to arrange appropriate support for patients when they leave hospital
- Maintaining clear and accurate documentation
- Coordinating and contributing to daily board rounds and weekly MDT meetings.
- Contribute to the induction and training of new staff, including shadowing and mentoring opportunities relevant to the discharge process.

We are looking for a part-time MH integrated hub clinician who is experienced in delivering evidence-based interventions in a community setting, with a passion for partnership approaches to care for adults living with serious mental illness.
This role needs someone who is innovative and who wants to help achieve our vision for cross-sector integrated pathways, removing existing barriers, to deliver better access to dedicated mental health support in local, non-stigmatised community settings.
Main duties of the job
- Supporting the Clinical Lead in the development and implementation of the service and your role within it.
- Supervision and leadership for appropriate staff identified
- Screen, triage, assess and coordinate referrals
- Provide brief support and time limited evidence-based interventions,
- Support patients ready to transition to primary care and develop care plans and prepare people for step down.

Our rotation offers a unique opportunity to work in a mix of clinical areas across physical health, mental health and various specialist services. The rotation currently includes:

This advert is recruiting for a Peer Support Worker (PSW) within the Oxford Health Buckinghamshire Individual Placement & Support Service (IPS). Peer Support Workersare people who have their own lived experience of mental health challenges or have supported/cared for someone with mental health challenges. They use empathy informed by their own experiences to support service users/families who are accessing mental health services. Peer Support Workers model the recovery principles together with personal responsibility, self-awareness and self-care whilst undertaking the duties of the role. The IPS service knows that being in employment can positively impact a person's recovery and wellbeing. The Individual Placement & Support service supports people receiving care from Oxford Health mental health teams who are unemployed and motivated to find paid employment, or whose current employment is at risk. Main duties of the job
We're looking for people who are compassionate, can work well in a team, highly motivated and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be provided with training for the role and given the opportunity to complete the national recognised care certificate.
Oxford Health offer the Peer Support Training programme as a nationally recognised accredited Level 3 Apprenticeship (fully funded by Oxford Health) for those that are eligible and interested in completing a qualification in addition to their in-house training. Job summary
We are looking to recruit a permanent Band 7 Applied Psychologist or Band 8a Highly Specialist Psychologist to join our LD Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team in Teesside covering all four localities (Stockton, Hartlepool, Redcar and Middlesbrough). The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative multi-disciplinary team, leading on and delivering psychological assessments, formulations and therapies within the LD Getting More Help CAMHS Team.
Applicants should ideally have experience in working within CAMHSand show strong patient-centred values. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, motivated, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent mental health care and evidence-based interventions.
The post holder will have a key role in providing both psychological assessments and psychological therapy.
This post is open to candidates who are either already meeting the essential criteria for a Band 8a Highly Specialist Applied Psychologist, or those who meet the essential criteria for a Band 7 Specialist Applied Psychologist who would be interested in undertaking this as a developmental post with a supportive plan for development and progression in due course.
Main duties of the job
In addition to direct clinical work, and where necessary clinical supervision to other team members regarding patients is an important element of the role.
The post holder will provide highly specialist psychological assessments, formulation and therapies with individuals, families and teams as part of an MDT approach. Alongside direct clinical work, providing consultation, training and where required clinical supervision to other team members as well as trainee and assistant psychologists are all integral part of the role.
As a senior member of the team, the post holder will be expected to demonstrate good leadership skills in supporting MDT colleagues to work psychologically and use person-centred principles across their work. This includes supervision, advice, consultation and training. The post holder will work within a compassionate, collective leadership approach and will be a key member of the leadership within the team. This is a role where innovation and engagement in research and development activity are actively encouraged.
Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
