Job summary
Community Inpatient unit is a bed-based facility supporting people to recover and regain their independence following a period of illness, trauma, surgery, or significant event. It supports hospital discharges, prevents admission to hospital or long-term care and promotes independent living. It is a multi-disciplinary service with Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist, Social Workers, and care staff.

Main duties of the job
Job title: Recovery Worker
Base: Community Inpatient Unit
Hours: 24 hours a week, fixed term contract for 9 months to cover maternity leave
Rota pattern: You will be required to work a rota pattern
Salary Range 2 £25,275 fixed salary point pro rata per annum.
We are seeking some highly motivated and passionate Recovery Worker to join the MDT team at Community inpatient unit. The service provides short term rehab and reablement for Services Users who may need to regain their confidence and skills on discharge from hospital or to get over a short-term health exacerbation.
We encourage and support our Service Users to live as independent lives as possible and we always act in a manner that supports the care, protection, health and well-being of the Service User.
You will work alongside a wider MDT based at CIU including Nurses, Social Workers, Therapists and Assistant Practitioner to support service users to reach their rehab potential and move forward in their health journey.
You will work under direction of the HCA/ Assistant Practitioner and Nursing team and will carry out assigned tasks involving personal and nutritional care needs to patients.
You will follow protocols, guidance, and procedures under the direction of senior staff/ manager/supervisor.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estates Officer to join the Estates and Facilities Division based at Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny.
This is a fast-paced and exciting role working closely with the Works Manager and Head of Estates. The Estates Officer manages the building and engineering directly employed maintenance staff (DEL) ensuring maximum utilisation of labour deployment.
The role will support the Estates Manager, Head of Estates and Compliance Manager with the performance monitoring of hard FM contracts and internal workforce.
To post holders will support the Estates Managers in providing a safe, comfortable and compliant environment for patients, staff and visitors whilst ensuring all statutory legislation is complied with.
As Estates Officer you will be responsible for devolved budgets in accordance with the Health Board's Standing Financial Instructions, for electrical, mechanical and building fabric maintenance services.
Main duties of the job
To understand the national perspective and future strategy for the NHS and related areas of health to ensure that staff in your team/s are fully aware of the implications and can contribute effectively to service improvement.
To lead, manage and motivate a large maintenance team & specialist contractors to fulfil works within time constraints & budget.
Ensure there are robust systems and processes embedded within area of responsibility, that are efficient, have sufficient governance in place and where possible are standardised in line with overall Estates and Facilities systems and processes.
Ensure all staff in your team/s have annual PADR's resulting in specific objectives and effective personal development plans in line with the Knowledge and Skills Outline Framework.
Responsible for leading training and development of identified staff.
Preparation of maintenance and plant replacement schedules and technical reports.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated registered nurse to join our regional Acute Neurology Unit (ANU).
ANU is a 30 bedded ward delivering care to patients with a range of neurological conditions for example Parkinson's disease and Epilepsy.
The team has a multi-disciplinary focus in order to ensure that patients are supported throughout their inpatient stay.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated adult nurse with a passion for delivering high standards of care. The Unit receives patients from throughout the Greater Manchester region, accepting transfers in and out and therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
Main duties of the job

We are delighted to be able to offer a 10 month secondment within the Haematology Bone Marrow Transplant Co-Ordinator team to cover maternity leave. The Haematology BMT team support our patients with the Haematology service at Manchester Royal Infirmary

Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to come and join our team at SHPU and work as a Specialist Nurse - Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Treatment Suite Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist service delivering safe, high-quality and evidence - based care to patients who are receiving ECT.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively across a wide range of professionals as part of an MDT as well as working autonomously.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide specialist nursing leadership and clinical expertise within the ECT suite, ensuring safe effective and person centered care. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating ECT before, during and after treatment and will work closely with the MDT to ensure high standards of care.
Key responsibilities will include (not exclusive) undertaking patient assessments, monitoring of physical and mental health and supporting patients, families and carers throughout the process.
The post also includes maintaining ECTAS accreditation and working within these guidelines, ensuring the adherence to legal frameworks and both local and national policies.
The post holder will support service development, provide supervision and support junior staff whilst maintaining accurate clinical records. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.

Do you have a passion for working with people who have experienced complex trauma and a desire to change people's lives for the better?
Join our team as a Complex Trauma Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) within our established Ascend Service (Sexual Abuse and Assault Pathway) for 2 days a week, based in Cannock.
The Ascend Service is provided by Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, North Staffordshire Combined NHS Trust, VCSE (Survive and Woman's Aid) and Staffordshire Police Crime Commissioner.
The team comprises of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, CBT Therapists, Assistant Psychologists and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to work with patients presenting with sexual abuse complex trauma with responsibility for assessing patient suitability and delivering evidenced based, trauma focused interventions and clinical supervision.
You will be a BABCP accredited CBT Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of demonstratable clinical experience of working with people experiencing trauma and will need clinical supervision training to deliver clinical supervision to the teams PWP's. Training in EMDR and/or experience of working in secondary care mental health services would be desirable.
Hours are 9-5. There may be an expectation to work flexibly between the hours of 8am-8pm Monday to Friday to meet service needs and in the future, on Saturday morningsApproximately 50% of the working week will be office based and 50% can be worked remotely across South Staffordshire.
Main duties of the job
Good communication skills and an informed clinical judgement are vital to this role as you will be liaising between primary and secondary sectors to facilitate referrals into the complex trauma pathway.
As part of this role, you will be expected to:
- Make decisions on the suitability of new referrals, identifying the most suitable service for the patient
- Formulate, implement and evaluate individual therapy programmes for patients that fall between Primary and Secondary services
- Attend Inter service meetings with regard to referrals
- Liaise with other health and social care staff from a range of agencies with a regard to referrals
- Promote and maintain links with services across the Trust to help co-ordinate provision of an effective Psychological Therapies Service

Willow Suite is a 12 bedded Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit for adult males. We are seeking dedicated Band 3 Healthcare Support Workers to join our close-knit, multidisciplinary ward team.
In this vital role, you will be at the front line of patient care--offering comfort, empathy, and active support to men during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Working flexibly across a 24-hour, 7-day rota, you will build therapeutic relationships, promote independence, and help shape a safe, recovery-focused environment on the ward.
