This is an exciting role within the Urgent Treatment Centre at Manchester Royal Infirmary,
We are seeking qualified Senior Nurse practitioners to join our well-established team at Manchester Royal Infirmary to drive forward the service in an autonomous role.
As a qualified and experienced Practitioner, you will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and autonomously assess, investigate, diagnose, treat and discharge patients within their scope of competence who present to the Urgent Treatment Centre with minor illnesses and injuries.
You will be expected to provide advice and guidance to the multidisciplinary team and ensure all records and documentation are completed and relevant. The role requires you to be an expert in your own field of practice and will require you to provide teaching and supervision for other members of staff in The Urgent Treatment Centre. You can be supported to fulfil aspects of the role currently outside your scope of competence.
This for 1 x permanent and 1 x fixed term role
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Nurse Practitioner to work in a fast paced, dynamic Urgent Treatment Centre. The team are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, highly motivated individual to come and join our strong and well-established team.
You will have responsibility for the assessment, evaluation and implementation of care for patients presenting with minor injury or illness. Using your established clinical skills, you will work independently as a Senior Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality, evidence based care to this client group, with the support of our Clinical Lead and Matron.You will be expected to develop your scope of practice within local Trust guideline and policies. You will demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to care delivery and service improvement to work in this highly desirable area with a proactive multidisciplinary team.
This role will include shift working patterns.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Analyst to join the ICT Test Team, supporting testing activities for applications and systems being implemented or upgraded, in line with the defined test strategy and approach.
Previous software testing experience is essential. Candidates should be able to demonstrate practical experience of testing activities such as test execution, defect management, UAT, system validation, quality assurance, test case creation, or supporting software releases.
Experience of working with Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems, particularly Oracle Cerner applications such as PMOffice, PowerChart and FirstNet, is essential. An understanding of how clinical systems are used in practice and the impact system changes can have on patient care would be advantageous.
A strong interest in software quality assurance and a "tester mindset" is essential, including curiosity, analytical thinking, attention to detail and the ability to identify, investigate and challenge issues.
You should have a working knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies. An ISTQB Foundation Certification, or willingness to work towards it, is desirable. Awareness of HL7 messaging would be an advantage.
Although primarily based at Charing Cross Hospital, you may be required to travel between NWL APG sites depending on service needs.
Main duties of the job
- In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality testing across a range of clinical applications and systems, ensuring they are safe, effective, and ready for use within a healthcare environment.
- You will work closely with experienced testers, project, configuration, development and transformation teams to understand requirements, contribute to test scripts, and execute testing activities in line with agreed plans and schedules.
- A key part of the role will involve accurately recording test results, identifying issues, and logging defects with clear and detailed information. You will also support user acceptance testing (UAT) by working with clinical and operational staff to ensure systems meet real-world needs.
- This role is well suited to someone with a good understanding of Cerner EPR systems (or a similar healthcare system), a strong attention to detail, and a natural curiosity for how systems work. You should be organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload, while also working collaboratively as part of a team. A keen interest in developing testing skills and delivering quality outcomes is essential.

The Service provides diagnostic assessment for adults across the Hywel Dda University Health Board area who do not meet eligibility criteria for statutory mental health or learning disability services. In addition to diagnostic assessment, the service offers time-limited support, professional consultation, training and engagement activities across a range of sectors to improve outcomes for autistic and other neurodivergent people.

Main duties of the job
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of neurodevelopmental services across West Wales while supporting individuals to better understand their strengths, needs and aspirations, and to access the support required to lead fulfilling lives.
Working under the direction and supervision of registered clinicians, the postholder will provide one-to-one and group-based support, delivered virtually and face-to-face. They will play a key role in ensuring delivery of high standard, specialist, person-centred support for individuals, families and carers accessing the service.
Key responsibilities will include contributing to the assessment process for individuals whose neurodivergent needs impact upon their daily functioning. This will involve undertaking initial assessments and supporting more detailed, outcome-focused assessments under supervision.
They will work closely with colleagues and partner agencies, contributing to developing knowledge/awareness of autism and other neurodivergent conditions across the local area by supporting training and engagement activities for family carers, support staff and professionals.

Job summary
This role provides essential operational and logistical support to ensure the Trust maintains full compliance with NHS England's Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Core and Interoperable Capability Standards.
Working closely with the EPRR Operations Managers, the post holder will take a lead role in the maintenance, readiness and governance of EPRR live and training equipment across the Trust, including SORT vehicles, Equipment Support Units and National Mass Casualty Vehicles.
A key focus of the role is the effective management of equipment, assets and associated records, ensuring all items are serviced, audited, safely stored and immediately deployable for a wide range of incidents.
The post holder will support the issuing and tracking of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), maintain robust equipment registers, and work proactively to identify servicing, replacement and replenishment needs.
The role also contributes to the planning and delivery of EPRR training and exercises, such as Marauding Terrorist Attack (MTA) and SORT activities, providing logistical coordination and preparation. Working with minimal supervision, the post holder will deliver high quality administrative and operational support to the wider EPRR team, assist with projects as required, and ensure Trust policies and legal requirements, particularly around the storage and replacement of medicines on mass casualty vehicles, are consistently met.
Main duties of the job
As an EPRR Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the operational readiness of specialist emergency preparedness assets across the Trust. You will coordinate the maintenance, servicing and assurance of specialist vehicles, equipment, PPE and consumables, ensuring compliance with national standards and organisational requirements.

Committed to outstanding levels of care, you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team which consists of Rehab Support Workers, OTs, Nurses and Physiotherapists to support patients in their own homes. You will need to be confident working on your own in patients' homes, able to escalate issues and concerns for patient safety and be happy promoting patients' independence by utilising rehab techniques as well as providing personal care to patients who are convalescing as well as to palliative patients. Excellent communication skills are essential.
You must have access to your own car and be able to travel independently between patients' homes across the area in a timely manner and will need business insurance.
You will be rostered 37.5hrs over five shifts per week between 8am-9pm, seven days a week.
