Job summary
Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service
A position has arisen for a full-time band 6 Emergency Liaison Practitioner (37.5 hours pw), to work with the S-CAMHS Emergency Liaison Team, based at White Valley Centre, St Cadoc's Hospital. The ELT team is part of the CAMHS Emergency Pathway, along with the Crisis Outreach Team, and the Intensive Support and Engagement Team (ISET).
Main duties of the job
The ELT aims to work intensively with families, young people and other agencies in order to provide person centred assessment at times of psychiatric emergency. The provision is currently 7 days per week. We work closely with young people and other agencies pre-crisis, and post crisis, using a range of therapeutic approaches and interventions, aiming towards preventing suicide and managing psychiatric risk. The post will require the successful applicant to deliver skilled and robust emergency assessments for young people and families. The post is open to qualified clinicians with significant post-registration CAMHS experience.
The post-holder will develop and deliver evidence based emergency assessments, and will be required to work closely with families, across a range of clinical settings. The post holder will be required to respond to calls from professionals who contact CAMHS via our consultation line, seeking advice. The post holder will also be required to offer evidence based follow up work with young people experiencing extreme psychological distress. The successful applicant will possess a range of evidence based therapeutic skills, and will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a multi agency and multi-disciplinary way.
The successful applicant will be prepared to work out of hours, and on weekends, according to service needs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Through the staff appraisal process and mentorship programme, support the development of all staff, creating an atmosphere conducive to learning and practice development. As a senior registered practitioner and manager within your speciality, you are accountable for the delivery of a high standard of cost effective nursing care without direct supervision. You will ensure that this will be based upon evidence based practice in line with the legal requirements, statutory rules and Health Board policies relating to practice and the NMC Code of Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council. Are you a dynamic and dedicated Physiotherapist seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals within Hywel Dda University Health Board?We currently have a unique opportunity for a highly motivated, driven and passionate Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Cardiac Rehabilitation team in Carmarthenshire. The post-holder will act as an autonomous practitioner, providing specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment, manage their own patient caseload with the support and mentoring of senior physiotherapists and nurses. The post holder will work closely within an MDT to deliver group and individual based exercise, education programmes, assessments and telephone reviews.
Innovative practice is supported, and service development is actively encouraged. Training and support will be provided and readily available.
This post is a Fixed Term/ Secondment until 31.08.2027 due to - meet the needs of the service

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive assessment of patients including those with diverse or complex presentations/multi pathologies and use advanced clinical reasoning skills to devise an evidence-based treatment plan.
The post holder will communicate with and work alongside physiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists, secretaries, wider members of the MDT and other community services.
The post holder will lead both group and individual exercise sessions, provide personalised home exercise programmes, and support patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals. They will utilise validated outcome measures and comprehensive risk assessments to monitor progress, optimise patient outcomes, and ensure the safe and effective delivery of cardiac rehabilitation interventions.
The post holder will be expected to complete all appropriate electronic information and discharge summaries as well as database entries where relevant for audit and service evaluation. Basic IT skills are essential.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake the British Association of Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR) Physical Activity and Exercise in the management of cardiovascular disease part 1 and 2 course, to support the development of specialist knowledge and skills.

Dorset HealthCare are looking for a Fire Safety Advisor to join our supportive team!
As the Fire Safety Advisor, you will be making a real difference to the safety of both our patients and staff, by ensuring ongoing effectivemanagement of Fire. You will work for the Trust and will sit within the central Health and Safety and Emergency Planning Team. You will visit Trust sites regularly to conduct Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Door Surveys, Fire Safety Training, and to support our sites across Dorset in meeting their statutory responsibilities. You can either be based at our Poole or Dorchester offices with some flexible home working as well.
You will be motivated, experienced and enthusiastic individual with experience of Fire Safety in an advisory capacity, ideally within a multi-site organisation (but not essential), to join us and assist with fire safety management to reduce the organisational risk. At Dorset HealthCare we are dedicated in supporting opportunities for career progression within Fire Safety, Fire Safety Management, or other career pathways within theorganisation.
The Fire Safety Advisor is a full-time post of Monday to Friday. For this role you will need to be an owner of a vehicle and hold a driving licence.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels across the Trust and be able to deliver theoretical and practical fire safety training. Be a member of either the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or Institute of Fire Prevention Officers (IFPO) and Knowledge of the HTM Firecode suite of documents is desirable; also working within the NHS would be an advantage.
There will be a requirement to carry out fire risk assessments and audits, provide practical advice to all staff on fire safety measures requiring afirm grasp of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 along with full practical understanding of interpretation of the Building Regulations2010.
This is a full-time post, 37.5 hours per week.

The Clinical Systems Support Specialist will provide specialist support, administration, configuration and continuous improvement of the Trust's clinical applications, including RiO and SystmOne. Working to a home first agenda, the role is to support service delivery across inpatient, emergency department and community settings.
Our service consists of Health and Social Care colleagues. Consultants, GPs, Advanced Care Practitioners, Urgent community response practitioners, Social Workers, Nursing, Occupational therapists, Physiotherapists, Discharge Team, rehabilitation assistants and Multi-Disciplinary Assistants all work together to support patient flow. We operate 7 days, 365 days a year to support some of our most vulnerable, older people with frailty.
You will be based across our 4 community bases in addition to our new purpose-built Hub at Harrogate Hospital.

Main duties of the job
- To undertake the provision of high standards of nursing care in relation to unscheduled urgent community response, hospital at home and intermediate care in the community.
- When required inreach into acute services in ED and acute frailty unit and SDEC
- To plan, implement and evaluate episodes of care.
- To plan and organise workload and delegate to other staff when necessary.
- To undertake nursing assessment, diagnosis and treatment appropriately.
- To work alongside senior nurses and Matron to support the delivery of nursing intervention
- To undertake intermediate care assessments on behalf of the team
