Job summary
The General Surgery department are looking to recruit a Senior Clinical Fellow - Fixed Term 1 year contract
The remit of the post holder will be to work within the multi-disciplinary team providing and further developing care for surgery patients and to provide and develop services for King's surgical patients. In addition, the individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the department
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support General Surgery and Breast with day on-call commitment supporting Emergency care, ITU, wards as well as supporting the management of the elective service.
The post holder will be expected to contribute and participate in the department's ongoing clinical audit programme, and will carry out all necessary administrative duties associated with the care of their patients.
The post holder has a general duty of care for their own health, safety and wellbeing and that of work colleagues, visitors and patients within the hospital, in addition to any specific risk management or clinical governance accountabilities associated with this post.
To observe the rules, policies, procedures and standards of King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust together with all relevant statutory and professional obligations.
To observe and maintain strict confidentiality of personal information relating to patients and staff. To be responsible, with management support, for their own personal development and to actively contribute to the development of colleagues.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic and working closely with the leadership and practice teams. Youll be involved in the smooth day to day running of the practice and pro-actively engaged in assisting both practices to achieve its vision and objectives.
Please note that this role is offered at 16 hours per week.
The full-time equivalent (FTE) salary range is £51,954 - £63,706 per annum.
The part-time equivalent salary range for 16 hours per week is £22,670 - £27,786 per annum.

Main duties of the job
Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) in primary care provide expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients, working within their professional scope of practice.
- An ability to make professional autonomous decisions for which they are accountable.
- An ability to assess, diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
- Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Make differential diagnoses using advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Develop, with the patient, an ongoing care plan with emphasis on health education and preventative measures.
- Order and follow up on necessary investigations, providing treatment and care both individually and as a team.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals across primary and secondary care, referring to other agencies where appropriate.

- An appreciation of the importance of confidentiality.

Main duties of the job
You will provide specialist clinical/counselling psychology services to CYP with complex needs, including those experiencing psychological distress related to health difficulties/neurodivergence. Your role involves conducting comprehensive assessments using a variety of tools and techniques, formulating and delivering highly specialised interventions to individuals, families, and groups, and evaluating treatment plans based on theoretical models and individual developmental history.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop and refine skills in short-term interventions and caseload management. You will work in a fast-paced clinical setting, managing around 15 clinical contacts per week. This role is ideal for someone seeking rich, diverse clinical experience within a structured and supportive framework.
You will also play a key role in supporting the multidisciplinary team through consultation, supervision, and joint working, liaising with professionals across health, education, and social care. Your responsibilities will include contributing to service development, engaging in teaching, supervision, research activities, and participating in statutory processes such as EHAT and EHCP.
A strong focus is placed on multi-agency collaboration, clinical leadership, and maintaining high professional standards grounded in evidence-based practice. You will participate in clinical supervision, keep accurate records, and pursue CPD.
