We are looking for a patient pathway navigator to join our dynamic team in the Oncology Department of Barnet Hospital. We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Psychologist to join our team. This full-time fixed term post will be based at the Porterbrook Clinic on the same site as the Michael Carlisle Centre in the Nether Edge area of Sheffield. The Sheffield Gender Identity Clinic, also known as the Porterbrook Clinic, is a service for adults who are experiencinggender dysphoria. Our clinic is one of 11 gender identity clinics providing healthcare for adults, commissioned by NHS England.We are a national service and as such, much of our work takes place online via Attend Anywhere NHS platform. Our team is made up of administration staff, medical and nursing staff, and a range of other healthcare professionals, such as psychologists and speech and communication therapists. People who attend our service may be seeking a range of treatment options. We provide support for social transitioning, and medical treatment to decrease gender identity distress.We are proud to provide specialist healthcare to transgender and non-binary people. Main duties of the job
The Assistant Psychologist will support the psychology team and broader service by carrying out psychologically informed work under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist, including co-facilitating manualised group interventions, 1:1 psychoeducation, assisting with the design and implementation of service development projects (e.g., audits of outcome measures), preparing material for clinical appointments and some clinical admin for the psychology team. The Assistant Psychologist will be an active member of the Multidisciplinary Team.

Job summary
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen in the inpatient mental health Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) team in Sheffield. We are delighted to be expanding our small team to include an assistant post.
SLTs working in the mental health team help service users on inpatient wards to manage swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) and communication needs. We support people to understand and express themselves, so they can meaningfully participate in treatment decisions and therapeutic activities on the wards. We support staff training in dysphagia awareness and communication adaptations. As an SLT assistant, you will be supporting our SLTs to deliver a range of interventions which will include directly working with service users and indirect interventions such as developing accessible resources. On the job training will be provided to ensure you are appropriately skilled to deliver interventions within the remit of the role.
The successful candidate will work across all working-age adult wards, including a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), as well as older adult wards and 2 nursing homes. Wards are located over 3 sites (Michael Carlisle Centre, Longley Centre and Grenoside Grange); nursing homes are situated in Chapeltown and Norton.
The role of SLTs in acute mental health settings is an evolving area of practice and so genuine interest and compassion for this client group, a willingness to learn and adaptability skills are highly valued qualities in a candidate.
Main duties of the job
- Under the direction of a registered Speech and Language Therapist the post holder will deliver an effective, high quality Speech and Language Therapy service.
- They will use professional and creative skills to assist in the provision of client centred therapeutic interventions for individuals/groups of clients who have communication needs.
- The post holder will give support to adults with communication difficulties, working as a member of the multidisciplinary inpatient mental health service.
- The post holder will support qualified Speech and Language therapists to carryout their professional role in a timely and effective manner including the production of resources and specified administration tasks.
- Under the guidance of a qualified Speech and Language Therapist the post holder will support carers and relevant others regarding the individual client's communication strategies and enhancing communication environments.

We are looking for a patient pathway navigator to join our dynamic team within the Oncology Department at Chase Farm Hospital.
Our team has pioneered the implementation of the new patient pathway roles with great success - and if you feel you could contribute to our continuing to provide a vital, efficient, much praised and empathetic service for our patients we would be delighted to hear from you.
The role would be based at Chase Farm Hospital and would be working as an integral member of the Clinical/Admin team consisting of Medical Oncology Consultants, SPRs, a Research Nurse and CNSs. You would be an important part of the team providing cohesive and efficient administrative support along with attending team meetings, MDTs and clinics.
You would be part of the patient pathway from referral to discharge and would be the patients' first port of call when they need guidance through what is often a difficult and distressing time in their lives. You would need to have a calm professional appearance and be happy to always go the extra mile to help.

Main duties of the job
As a Young Persons Worker, you'll be supporting a caseload of young people who are experiencing difficulties with substance misuse. You'll work with them to access their needs, develop care plans, deliver a variety of treatments and/or refer them to other specialist support when needed.
Our Young Persons Worker teams offer vital support, training, and education to young people in their locality. They work with other agencies and professionals to safeguard their young clients, working with their families too where appropriate. Main duties of the job
The post holder will manage the complex clinical scheduling and bookings of clinics to maximise capacity across multiple localities and clinicians. You will be responsible for supervising the other customer services team members.
This post holder will lead on the data management and the reporting requirements of the service, along with other customer service duties including loading referrals onto the IT system, arranging clinic appointments, and dealing with telephone calls and emails. Strong skills and experience in Microsoft Excel and Word will be required, to develop our information management processes.
A key skill will be dealing with callers over the phone or face to face who are in distressing situations to ascertain facts, contact details and an accurate message.

Job summary
The Safeguarding Specialist Nurse/Practitioner will be part of a service dedicated to supporting and promoting the welfare of children and adults. The post holder will also work in the multiagency arena supporting and working with the Named Nurse/Professional as required in the completion of safeguarding reviews, internal and external, including Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews (CSPR), Domestic Abuse Related Death Review (DARDR), Adult Safeguarding Reviews.
A key aspect of the role is to provide tenacious safeguarding leadership, working within multi-agency frameworks to improve outcomes for children, young people, adults, and families. This includes identifying and addressing risks, supporting learning, and maintaining the Trust's reputation within statutory frameworks.
The post holder will also provide formal expert supervision and support to teams and services across the Trust, working within governance frameworks and escalating safeguarding concerns to the Named Nurse/Professional for resolution.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi Skilled Plumber to join our Estates team at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will provide specialist psychiatric assessment, formulation, treatment, consultation and risk management for children, young people, adults, family members and staff affected by the incident. The post includes multidisciplinary working with psychologists and other professionals, alongside opportunities to contribute to service development, governance, quality improvement and evaluation.We are looking for psychiatrists with GMC registration and a licence to practise, who are on the Specialist Register (or within six months of CCT) and have experience in complex mental health assessment and trauma-informed care. Experience in liaison psychiatry, CAMHS, psychological medicine or healthcare-related trauma would be advantageous.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic motivated individual to work in our busy Catering Department at Rochdale Infirmary and associated sites who will be primarily working between retail and patient catering regeneration of frozen meals and preparation of simple foods such as breakfast items, sandwiches and salads.
This involves working directly with patients some of whom are compromised, on a one-to-one basis and being fully conversant with the nutritional state of all patients. You will advise patients on the various nutritional/dietary options available dependent upon the patient's needs.
You will ensure that patients receive their food/drinks in an environment that has been adequately prepared for mealtimes.
Please note that this role will include working on Bank Holidays, evenings or weekends.

Main duties of the job
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness in line with Catering Food Standards Policy and legislation.
- Clean premises and equipment per departmental hygiene policy and HACCP regulations, ensuring a safe and tidy workplace under the Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Operate and clean automatic dishwashers.
- Prepare, plate, and distribute patient meals, accurately probe and record food temperatures per HACCP procedures.
- Collect patients' daily food requirements and deliver food to wards, ensuring correct storage, rotation, and stock levels.
- Handle cash transactions following Trust policies.
- Complete all relevant documentation accurately.
- Work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet service standards.
- Provide cover during absences and work scheduled shifts.
- Maintain good working relationships across departments and wards.
- Be flexible to work in any section or location as required and act up to higher grades when necessary.
- Adapt to new regulations and uphold all hygiene and safety standards consistently.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a post CCT Fellow in the Departments of Upper Gastrointestinal (Oesophagogastric) and Bariatric Surgery, at Salford Royal Hospital. This is a 12 month post which will provide an opportunity for the appointee to learn and develop subspecialty-level skill in the management of Oesophagogastric cancer, Bariatric and Complex Benign Upper GI Surgery.
The post would be suitable for doctors on the specialist register for general surgery or who are in the final 6 months of training.
Salford Royal Hospital, part of the Northern Care Alliance, is the sole surgical centre for Oesophagogastric cancer surgery for the whole of Greater Manchester (population of 3.2 million). The department also provides bariatric surgery for the Greater Manchester. Since September 2018 the unit has undertaken all Oesophagogastric cancer resections and all complex benign upper GI operations for the patients of Greater Manchester. It is estimated that the unit performs approximately 160 Oesophagogastric cancer resections and well over 200 bariatric operations each year. The unit has special interest in minimally invasive Upper GI surgery and this post is designed to provide opportunity to develop advanced surgical skills in minimally invasive oesophagectomy, gastrectomy, bariatric and complex benign Upper GI surgery, as well as gaining confidence in undertaking open Upper GI cancer surgery.
Main duties of the job
This post is a Fellowship for a Senior Upper GI/Post CCT Trainee with pre-existing documented advanced UGI and laparoscopic skills and a specific interest in OG cancer surgery. The fellowship is designed to lead to a consultant post and requires competence in:
o UGI surgery outpatients and patient selection criteriao Multidisciplinary team workingo Preoperative patient preparationo Technical skills in OG cancer surgeryo Postoperative careo Management of complicationso JAG (or near) accreditation to perform independent endoscopy
The programme will be structured around a regular weekly timetable offering extensive elective and emergency Upper GI experience. The appointee will participate in MDT, audit and management meetings, and will be encouraged to attend suitable training courses and conferences. Additional involvement in surgical research/teaching and training is also encouraged.It is proposed that the appointee will provide 10 PA's per week (9 PA's DCC and 1 SPA) which will include outpatient clinics, operating theatre lists, endoscopy lists and administration.The fellow will work with the team to ensure good quality pre, peri and postoperative care of the Upper GI Surgery patients. He/she will be working jointly with the other trainee surgeons in order to provide cross cover and continuous service.
