Job summary
Part Time Hours - 26 hours per week
Three days - flexible depending on the needs of the service
This early-career role is suitable for a fully qualified clinician to deliver routine diagnostic hearing assessments and provides hearing-aid-based rehabilitation. The role combines autonomous clinical practice, patient counselling, equipment management, and contribution to service quality.
Main duties of the job
The main purpose of this role is to provide a range of clinical care working in one or more specialist areas of audiology.
The post holder is responsible for maintaining clinical records in relation to the activities carried out.
The post holder will also supervise or train less experienced staff, assess and supervise students and be a point of contact for junior staff regarding routine cases, and provide advice regarding the specialist area(s) they work in.
The post holder may also lead a team working in a specialist area.

Main duties of the job
Essential requirements of a Senior Support Worker
Level 2 NVQ qualification in care
Driver with full manual licence
Flexibility - Your role will involve working shifts including weekends and Bank Holidays
Must be able to attend training throughout employment which will be held on weekdays.
Good written skills and the ability to write basic reports and record information accurately.
Basic IT skills (Your role will involve some computer work, completing forms, using an online care system, and writing emails)

Main duties of the job
As a Primary Care Nurse your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions
- Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
- Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.

We are seeking to recruit a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Psychiatry to work as part of the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). This is a full time (10PA) post based at The Mount, Accrington. The post holder would be expected to participate on the Consultant On Call rota, for which additional remuneration would be payable.
Main duties of the job
The Hyndburn and Ribble Valley CMHT is one of six in Pennine Lancashire. You will be working as part of an MDT and would carry a compact caseload of the most complex and unstable cases, as well as supporting and advising other team members.
Applicants should hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist register of the GMC or they should be eligible for entry to the Specialist Register within 6 months of the interview date.
It is a requirement that applicants are Section 12 Approved at the time of commencing employment and have or are eligible to have Approved Clinician Status. Remuneration will be as set out in the terms of the New Consultant Contract according to previous experience.

We are seeking to recruit a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Older Adult Inpatient team in beautiful Barrow in Furness. The post is full time (10PA). Come and join an area of natural beauty on the edge of the Lake District.

The postholder will be expected to participate on the Consultant On Call rota, for which additional remuneration will be payable (0.5 PA + 5% supplement).
Main duties of the job
The role is based on Ramsay Ward within the Dane Garth Unit in Furness General hospital. FGH is a large district general hospital with around 268 beds, a full range of specialities and an accident and emergency department. The Dane Garth unit has established resident doctor posts including FY1s, FY2s a CT and GPSTs. This post holder would have the support of a resident doctor, along with a SAS Doctor. There is an active monthly peer group meeting of medical colleagues within the Cumbria locality too.
The post holder will work with a multidisciplinary team including nurse consultant, Psychologist, clinical leads, community mental health nurses, occupational therapy HCA and trainee advanced clinical practitioner.

The Clinical Business Manager (CBM) for the Division of Medicine will provide dynamic and visible operational leadership across a complex portfolio of services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. The Technical Services department within Pharmacy is looking for an enthusiastic individual to become an integral part of our Aseptic Service team. You will provide support to the Pharmacy Aseptic Unit by undertaking the manufacture and dispensing of ready to use, patient specific, aseptically prepared injections including cancer chemotherapy. Job summary
The post holder will work as part of the East Sexual Health Services Team in Burnley and its surrounding areas and will assess, plan, and provide sexual health advice, screening, and treatment (including contraception) to patients in a supportive confidential environment, recognising when to refer a problem onto a doctor or Specialist Nurse within the service.

Main duties of the job
To provide sexual health advice to patients following a positive sexually transmitted infection (STI) diagnosis, initiate treatments as per Patient Group Directions (PGDs) and implement partner notification measures as per local guidelines.
To have sound knowledge and experience to provide appropriate health advice and results management in line with BASHH guidelines.
To administer vaccinations and immunisations (e.g., Hepatitis A/B and HPV vaccines) in conjunction with clinical protocol and PGDs.
Perform testing and interpret specimens using bench microscopy as an aid to support diagnosis (or being willing to undertake training as required).
To provide sexual health information, advice, teaching, and support to patients, enabling them to select and use a method of contraception suited to their needs.

This post is for a Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Equivalent to ST4+ trainee / registrar).
This is a fixed term (10 months) part time (80%) with 100% on calls post offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Medic to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multidisciplinary acute care.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join a team of 18 Consultants within the directorate who currently provide services for General Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Feto-maternal Medicine, Urogynaecology, Menstrual disorders, Menopause, Subfertility, Outpatient hysteroscopy, Colposcopy and Gynaecological Oncology. The directorate is supported by 8 SAS Doctors (2 Associate specialists and 6 Specialty doctor), 6 Specialty Trainees ST3+ and 13 Junior Doctors (4 O&G ST 1&2, 6 GPSTs and 3 F2)
It would be expected that any successful candidate would take an active role in the service provision of the Department. In addition they would be expected to actively participate in education and audit and the trust have a well-established audit unit to support this. The exact timetable will vary depending on the individual doctor's skills and training requirements. The core sessions of Antenatal clinic, Gynaecology clinic, Labour Ward and Theatre will form the basis of the rota with additional service and educational session
The post holder will be supported by, and work in conjunction with, the Consultants in O&G, working alongside the other second on call doctors, junior medical team and nursing & midwifery colleagues. There is on-call commitment on the second on call rota, so a minimum of 3 years O&G experience is required and a minimum of 12 months clinical experience including independent On Call activity in the UK.

An opportunity has arisen for the role of Deputy Management Accountant, playing a key role in managing and reporting the financial position of the organisation. The post holder will assist the Income and Contracting Team in the day-to-day management and reporting of Income from patient care activities, plus other operating Income. Our inpatient unit at Newton Community Hospital is where patients needing acute hospital beds can continue rehabilitation. We also provide urgent care at our Urgent Treatment Centre located in St Helens town centre.
Specialist Regional Services
We provide the Mersey Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital and the Spinal Injuries Unit at Southport Hospital to more than 4 million people across the whole of Merseyside, West Lancashire, Cheshire, Isle of Man and North Wales.
