Job summary
We are looking for a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at Weeton Medical Centre, in Preston, Lancashire.
This is a locum role (22 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel.
Pay rates:
PAYE - £60.10 (£53.63 + £6.47 holiday pay) per hour
Self-employed - £69.12 per hour
Job Description:
- Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel.
- Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) fitness for work assessments within the locum doctors scope of experience and qualification.
- To inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a servicepersons ability to undertake their duties.
- To complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department.
- To attend individual management reviews or case conferences with Primary Healthcare (PHC) and/or line management as required.

Job summary
Consultant Psychiatrist - General Adult Psychiatry, HBTT - Ormskirk (10PA)
We are looking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Psychiatry. This full time (10PA), substantive post is based at Bickerstaffe House, Ormskirk with the community mental health team. You would be joining our well established West Lancashire Home Treatment Team and provide input also into our Initial Response Service (IRS).
You will be expected to participate on the Consultant On Call rota, for which additional remuneration will be paid.
Main duties of the job
You will be leading an MDT supported by nursing staff, operational managers, clinical psychologists, social workers, pharmacists and OTs. An opportunity to work in an exciting, fast paced environment and being able to deliver to the overall care available to patients referred to the team.
Applicants should hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist register of the GMC or they should be eligible for entry to the Specialist Register within 6 months of the interview date.
It is a requirement that applicants are Section 12 Approved at the time of commencing employment and have or are eligible to have Approved Clinician Status. Remuneration will be as set out in the terms of the New Consultant Contract according to previous experience.

We are excited to launch the recruitment of this substantive Consultant Psychiatrist role at The Harbour, Blackpool. You will be a Consultant Psychiatrist in Older Adult Psychiatry and will become a leading member of the well established, in-patient, multidisciplinary teams based at TheHarbour.
The post is permanent and full time (10PA).

Main duties of the job
Your role as Consultant Psychiatrist will have the following important clinical responsibilities:
o Responsible Clinician for a defined caseload.o Assessment of patients referred by the community teams and responsibility for any admissions at the Harbour Hospital.o Out-of-Hours Cover.
The role will involve assessment, diagnosis and treatment, ensuring that physical health is considered alongside psychological and social issues.
Applicants should hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist register of the GMC or they should be eligible for entry to the Specialist Register within 6 months of the interview date.
It is a requirement that applicants are Section 12 Approved at the time of commencing employment and have or are eligible to have Approved Clinician Status. Remuneration will be as set out in the terms of the New Consultant Contract according to previous experience.

Consultant Psychiatrist (General Adult) and Honorary Research Fellow
We are excited to launch the recruitment to this new post, jointly developed by Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Cumbria. The post holder will spend 6 PAs per week working with the General Adult Home Based Treatment Team (HbTT), based in Kendal and 4 PAs working as an Honorary Research Fellow at The University of Cumbria as part of the Mental Health Leaders Award. This would be based at the Lancaster Campus of the University of Cumbria.
The contract for the clinical role with LSCft would be permanent. The Honorary Research Fellow element would be fixed term until the end of February 2029, since that is dependent on funding.
As part of the clinical role, the postholder would be expected to contribute to the out of hours On Call rota, for which additional remuneration would be paid.
Main duties of the job
The clinical element of the role would be with the well-established Kendal HbTT and you would work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to provide a service for those living in the Kendal area. The main duties would involve outpatient clinics for both new referrals and ongoing reviews. You would be expected to lead the MDT and provide supervision to the Resident Doctors working with the team.
The University of Cumbria Mental Health Leaders Award (MHLA) is a £2.5mn NIHR funded research grant, aimed at building capacity and capability around applied mental health and inequalities research at the University of Cumbria. You will be contributing to the aim of the MHLA, to increase our understanding of what the research priorities around mental health and inequalities in Cumbria are, and develop the infrastructure to deliver this research. This part of the post will be based with the MHLA operational team at University's Lancaster Campus. You will be expected to be on site 1 day per week.
Applicants should hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist register of the GMC or they should be eligible for entry to the Specialist Register within 6 months of the interview date.

We are a friendly, supportive team, based in Whalley with a branch site at Sabden, both situated in the beautiful Ribble Valley. We have 5 Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, ANP, a team of Practice Nurses and HCAs, and a large Reception and Admin team. We are a dispensing Practice and have an onsite dispensary at both sites - to give all of our patients a good quality experience at the surgery. We also have a Housebound Nursing Team of nursing professionals who work with our GPs to provide care to our care home and housebound patients.
We have a PCN team who work with our patients, including a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Techs, Care Co-ordinators, GP Assistants, and a Physio. We have a highly productive working relationship with the Practices within our PCN.

The Frailty Service compromises of:

The postholder will be responsible for the strategic development, maintenance, and support of the trust's clinical systems to develop a single, comprehensive digital clinical record. Main duties of the job

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our dynamic team of Midwifery and Medical Staff in Ormskirk Hospital Maternity Department.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for dedicated Health Care Support Workers to join our hard-working multi-disciplinary team within maternity service, in its deliverance of high quality care to our patients and their families.
The post holder will be working as part of the Maternity team rotating between Delivery Suite and Maternity ward and they will work under the supervision of a midwife undertaking duties which have been delegated to them by the Midwife. The post holder will always act within the limits of their competence, knowing who to ask for help and support if unsure.
The postholder will undertake personal care duties, maintenance of essential equipment, stock levels, maintaining a comfortable environment and general Housekeeping tasks. Personal care refers to delivery of personal hygiene and assisting with feeding. Clinical skills will not be required for this role.
The post holder must be flexible, as you will be expected to work flexible shifts, days & nights.

The Estates Shift Team is responsible for providing 24-hour on-site emergency cover and a comprehensive electrical and mechanical engineering, and building maintenance service, to the plant and equipment on the Blackpool Victoria Hospital Site. This will involve working with trade groups and contractors' staff to provide a professional, efficient and cost-effective maintenance, repair and installation service, which is responsive to the user's needs and will involve the planning and organising of maintenance activities. Out of normal working hours the Estates Shift Team has sole responsibility for ensuring that all departments essential services are maintained at all times, or an Estates Manager informed. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Programme Manager to lead the nationally recognised Blackburn with Darwen Trailblazer Programme - an innovative evaluation project designed to pioneer and transform mental health and wellbeing service delivery across our communities.
The Trailblazer is a unique collaboration between Sport England, Blackburn with Darwen Council Health and Wellbeing Service, University College London, and Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Talking Therapies (NHS TT). This programme aims to evaluate the implementation of an intervention model which combines evidence-based psychological therapy with physical activity aimed at improving mental health outcomes for people accessing NHS Talking Therapies. The project has a strong focus on co-production with local Blackburn with Darwen stakeholders and gaining insights into the sustainability and scalability of the intervention.

AMHPs carry out statutory duties under the Mental Health Act 1983 which includes a broad range of tasks including section 13 consideration, making informed, independent decisions about the need for compulsory admission to hospital, the use of Guardianship and Community Treatment Orders to support well-being in the community. As well as undertaking the role of Social Supervision under Part 3 of the MHA.
Alongside these statutory functions, we are committed to providing advice, consultation, support and training to our partner agencies and professional colleagues. As there are no age restrictions on the individuals we assess, AMHPs work across a wide range of services and settings. This creates opportunities for close collaborative working with Community Mental Health Teams, Learning Disability and Autism Services, CAMHS, acute hospitals and other partner organisations.
Our team is committed to continuous improvement and places a strong emphasis on co-production, including how best to capture and utilise the voices of those that have experience of being assessed under the Mental Health Act and to further improve practise for the benefit of those who come into contact with our service.
We are also deeply committed to addressing racial disparities in mental health care. Our service is dedicated to implementing the recommendations of Devon County Councils Race Equality Audit and actively working to deliver more equitable and culturally informed support and practice.
Main duties of the job
The AMHP Training
The Post Graduate Certificate Approved Mental Health Professional academic course is set at accredited masters level and will be delivered by University of Lancashire in September 2027 Mental Health Practice PGCert - AMHP Course through a mix of remote learning and practice placement. The course will be financially supported by Devon County Council, and we will offer support throughout your learning and development both from the Social Care AMHP service, the daytime AMHP service and the Workforce Development Team. We will be offering full support through your AMHP pathway and the academic course, however, there will be an expectation that once qualified you remain within the AMHP role to practise as an AMHP in Devon for a minimum of two years.
On successful completion of the programme, practitioners will be considered for approval by Devon County Council as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP). Approval is granted by a Local Social Services Authority (LSSA), and practitioners can only undertake AMHP duties once formally approved.

Within this role you will workcollaboratively with the Integrated Mental Health teams on each site developing the psychological services, including data and performance reporting, clinical supervision and delivering clinical assessments and sessions for patients.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 NIV Nurse on Ward 2C. The new post holder will join our already existing, dedicated and friendly team of staff on Ward 2C at Whiston Hospital. The post holder should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in an acute setting and have experience in looking after patients who require Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV)
Ward 2C is a 37 bedded Respiratory ward, which includes a six bedded NIV unit. The ward care for patients with acute respiratory conditions such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Asthma, Lung fibrosis and TB including patients stepping down from ICU/HDU We are dedicated to providing high quality patient care supported by staff education and development. Our multi-disciplinary team embraces the very latest innovations and technology to care for patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions including acute NIV and CPAP. There are eight Consultants, and the ward has implemented seven day working.
We are looking for a Band 6 NIV Nurse who will bring experience, knowledge, and leadership skills to the existing team. Having a positive approach to supporting and developing your team will be crucial to maintaining the consistently high standard of care that our patients and their families require
Main duties of the job
We would like to hear from you if you have a special interest in Respiratory and want to lead the way in the continued development of a high standard of care in an acute setting
There are strong links with both respiratory nurse specialists and community staff, and we work closely with all members of our MDT to provide quality care and treatment for our patients.
The NIV Nurse is expected to be dynamic and enthusiastic and be able to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Job summary
An Exciting opportunity to cover 18 months secondment opportunity within a well established Community COPD service in St Helens delivered by experienced Specialist nursing team , the recruitment process will also consider an internal opportunity to candidates from within our trust for a secondment opportunity with the support of your manager and matron.

"To provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service, ensuring the effective and efficient processing of daily workloads alongside ad hoc office duties. This includes working collaboratively to ensure appropriate cross-cover arrangements are in place.

Main duties of the job
- Quality check clinical administration documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Undertake monthly audit reports against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Mentor, train, and supervise administrative staff as required.
- Type clinical correspondence from audio dictation, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions and investigations are identified and arranged
- Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally, communicating with patients using tact, discretion, and empathy.
