The Logistics Supervisor will oversee a safe and high-quality service in line with Trust standards and be able to communicate sensitively and effectively with a wide range of people internally within the Trust and also with external partners of the organisation, including Senior Trust Managers. Formal Qualifications (CSE/GCSE)

Current Clean Driving Licence

Job Summary

Patients are integral to what we do so we are looking for a team leader who can also provide excellent care with technical skill, compassion and respect. We are a busy unit undertaking around 100,000 examinations per year delivering essential imaging for adult and paediatric acute and elective services including a mix of intervention (including specialist interventional oncology ablations and use of CT fluoroscopy), cardiac, cancer imaging, research, trauma and diagnostics.

Your duties will include working in our hospital inpatient and outpatient pharmacies, dispensing prescriptions and issuing prescribed items, contributing to all aspects of pharmaceutical stock control.

You will gain experience working on the hospital inpatient wards, delivering pharmacy ward-based services including taking patient medication histories and educating patients on their medicines. There will also be placements within other MMPS departments with a possibility of visiting other pharmacy organisations external to LTHT.
