Job summary
Manor Medical Practice is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Practice Nurse to take a clinical leadership role within our forward-thinking, community-based GP surgery. You will be responsible for delivering and managing safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care across our patient population of just over 11,000.
Working collaboratively with GP Partners and the Practice Manager, the Lead Nurse will provide clear leadership to the nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred services. You will contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement across the practice.
Main duties of the job
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients with acute and chronic conditions.
- Lead and manage nurse-led clinics for diabetes, asthma, COPD, CHD and other chronic conditions.
- Perform reviews in line with protocols and best practice.
- Provide immunisations, vaccinations, cervical cytology, wound care, travel health advice, and lifestyle support.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation in line with NMC standards.
- Work with the wider MDT to ensure coordinated care and appropriate referrals.
- Supervise and mentor students.
- Maintain nursing rotas, manage annual leave and sickness absence.

We are looking for an organised and motivated Practice Management Coordinator to join our friendly and supportive team at Manor Medical Practice.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work closely with and support the Practice Management Team, assisting with the day-to-day running of the practice across a range of administrative, operational and compliance functions.

Job summary
We are looking for part time receptionists to be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team.
we have two roles available on at 25.5 hours and one at 20.5 hours spread across 4 days:
- Mon: 6 hours, 8AM - 2PM
- Tues: 9 hours, 8AM - 6PM
- Wed: 5 hours, 8AM - 1PM
- Fri: 5.5 hours, 1PM - 6:30PM
OR
- Mon: 5 hours, 1PM - 6PM
- Tues: 5 hours, 8AM - 1PM
- Wed: 5.5 hours, 1PM - 6:30PM

Main duties of the job
Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting, and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information, and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages, and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.

Job responsibilities
The following are the core responsibilities of the receptionist. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
a. Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointment system
b. Process personal, telephone and e-requests for appointments

m. Manage all queries as necessary in an efficient manner
